I’ve been rewatching the series again recently and hes honestly kind of all over the place sometimes when it comes to characterization but I like that he’s not as clean cut as the rest of the sixth years sometimes idk… head scratch. I think I just relate to the feeling of like clumsiness about how you feel and your relationships with people you know and like. wanting to constantly catch up to people you look up (siblings) and constantly trying to work towards that goal and even like. how even his weaker presence next to the other sixth years translates into that, like feeling like you’re still lagging being your peers somehow? or that they’re somehow more emotionally realized than you.
