The parallels in Ultrakill between Life and the Afterlife, man.. The Machines aren't unlike Hell Itself. Both are beings of insatiable hunger. Both experience unending boredom. Both yearn for violence as a relief from it all, and both spread their influence like a cancer upon everything. Perhaps this is why Hell almost seems to welcome machines deeper into itself. Not only are they entertaining - their cruelty inspires it, or whoever carves the demons that are at it's disposal. Both were created by the hands of another, a once superior being they have surpassed and outlived. Perhaps it sees them as kindred. Sees them as something symbiotic, both alike in purpose - to enact violence on those trapped within itself. Both could stand eternal together - after all, plenty of blood to go around, plenty of meat for the grinder, no? Does it realize they'll just keep feeding until there's nothing left? Does it think it can stop them? Does it want to be wiped clean? If it hungers, is it afraid to die? The machines certainly are. This whole crusade is about delaying the inevitable. As long as there is a Machine left standing in Hell, it is fated to run dry. All that would be left is an empty carcass filled with nothing but monuments to cruelty, frozen in time forever with no audience left to appraise them.

Angels, meanwhile, are not so different from humanity in their ways. From what little we know of them, they, too, are full of arrogance and hubris just like humanity, that built the machine that devoured it's creator and went on to devour itself. Hell seems to be the cause of Heaven's fracture. It is the root of the Father's guilt. It's creation set His eventual disappearance in motion. It snuffed the fire out, directly or indirectly. And without guidance, Heaven split and began to consume itself in cruel war. The only thing that kept Heaven from sharing Earth's fate is the Council, that took advantage of the chaos and swiftly took control and unified the Angels once again. But that doesn't mean they put a stop to Heaven's cruelty - in fact, I'd argue they only stoked the flame, kept those beneath them complacent through fear. But at least Heaven regained structure, though it seems like it's a mere shell of what it used to be. The Father is gone. They follow an echo, a memory - or perhaps simply a lie. Still, it's a necessary lie, no? An almost noble one? It's not, of course, at most it's a lesser evil compared to the inferno of warfare, but is there really any other alternative? When Gabriel slaughtered them and showed the rest of Heaven their weakness, did he really do what was right? Heaven had no hand to guide them anymore. It was severed. All that's left is a bloodied stump. How long will it take before the rot spreads, before Heaven erupts into warfare once more? Gabriel can't stop it - he'll be dead soon. If he - one of the most respected and revered angels in the highest ranks - cannot stop the chaos, who can? There's no one left. No one will trust the empty promises of order ever again, seeing how easy it is to destroy.

The world will eat itself out of existence. This is the only way it should end. There is no other way it could end. It's all too far gone. What would be left would either starve and join it's brethren in stillness, or eviscerate itself in one final act of violence. No final words. No concluding statement. No point. Perfect closure.

you know what? I don’t care (almost) what kind of response there will be. this is a crossover. Rain World and LfL, how do you like this? I don’t know how to draw, but I love making clay figures and writing, so I’ll try to explain everything with that. I really hope that at least someone will be interested.

I won’t go into details, one of the types of animals that inhabit the Rain World is slugcats. Slugcats are playable characters. These wonderful creatures look like this:

I made Willy-slugcat. that's it.

All slugcats have something like a name, for example, the purple one is called Spearmaster, and the green one is called Saint. The big chubby one's name is Gourmand.

Willy would be called Pretender. His peculiarity is wearing masks that can be obtained from dangerous predators. These masks can be used to scare away other predators. Another property of the Pretender is that he can imitate the sounds of predators larger and more dangerous than the slugcat (for example, the hissing and bubbling of lizards).

It seemed to me that this mechanic was very suitable when we are talking about Willy Mack. . .

I'll move on to Willy. this cutie silly boi:

admit that you fell for this cute, harmless face. . . but this is still the same Willy, who can only be satisfied with meat. he is agile, resistant to falls from great heights, fast, dexterous, and very resourceful. he has a torn ear, the tip of his tail is missing (someone bit it off), he is always covered in scratches and scars. lives on the Sky Islands - a region densely populated with a wide variety of living creatures. One of his weaknesses is that he is a poor swimmer, he quickly gets tired of swimming, but he doesn’t need to swim where he lives.

BTW he's VERY associative slugcat, so he does not squeak and meow like them, he didn't have a chance to learn. His only interactions are hisses and short “barks.” just watch how cats sometimes bark and you will understand what I mean.

His wings will flutter a little happy to be so close to something that doesn't want him dead

Likes when you put your full weight on them

Pretty much likes to wrap themselves completely around you so you feel so safe in their arms

If you have hair I imagine they like to play with it or brush their fingers through it

Probably makes little beeps and whirring noises while cuddling up with you

Kinda just pats your back from time to time while trying to get closer and more comfortable

Gabriel

Probably touch starved and will not let you go for hours!

If you've decided to cuddle this man you have to also listen to him yap about random things but he'll definitely also listen to you talk about your day and other things

Most likely takes off parts of his armor so he can actually get comfortable with you. Most likely lets you rest your head on his chest

Wraps his wings around you if you both fall asleep while cuddling almost like his wings are like a nice soft blanket for you

possibly reads to you while cuddling and just lets you feel the vibrations of his voice on your face

The most lovey-dovey angel you have probably met if he's allowing you to cuddle him

Minos

Due to his experience with anything romantic, he probably knows all the best ways to get you nice and comfortable

definitely a believer in soft blankets and pillows

doesn't matter if it's prime or before prime Minos knows just the thing you need when you come to him for cuddles

Probably likes to talk to you are maybe on rare occasions hums to you while cuddling

Sisyphus

Probably gives you a nice comfortable squeeze

big man means big fucking pillow! You love how plush but firm Sisyphus is while cuddling

Sisyphus is probably fairly warm so if you get cold easily he's the perfect partner for cold nights

Would most likely bring some snacks for the both of you to share if it's just a casual cuddle and not you two getting ready to sleep (which he definitely snores)

big teddy bear energy would allow you to squeeze him like one too but be warned he will squeeze you back harder /j

Swordmachine

big arms to hug you better!! Absolutely wraps you up in its big arms to cuddle better

french fry machine likes to basically just blanket over you completely putting a comfortable amount of weight on you

similar to v2 swordmachine likes to make beeps and other robotic noises while you two cuddle

Most likely would let you fiddle and examine his sword if you asked if you could while the two of you were together

Streetcleaners

look made for cuddles and will absolutely wrap you up in their arms

I imagine if there is a pair of streetcleaners they just sorta pile on you making it a nice little cuddle pile

they like to put their silly little heads on yours while making some form of whirring noise letting you feel the vibration from it

These silly guys are probably fairly warm due to well, they do start fires after all

Drones

interesting choice but they make happy beeps when you wrap yourself around the little things

they will in fact swarm you just so they can all get some affection like cats almost

you will be absolutely drowned in how many of the silly flying things will surround you

Mindflayer

These robots would be surprisingly plush depending on the one you would meet.

they would wrap you up in their tendrils almost like they didn't want you to leave for a good while

I feel like they would possibly be more flirty than the other machines because well, they are from lust are they not?

Oh boy, the idea of dagon being chosen as the nxt grand duke instead of shax is killing me.

1. Their protective nature towards colleagues

2. Experience in leadership (maybe the head of the dark council)

3. Similar red sash as with Beelzebub (so probably a duke of hell now)

4. A somewhat closer relationship to Satan (like hell how do they know the great demon likes Hors d'oeuvre???)

I just...needed to let this all out, I know I'm overthinking this bcs I'm sure shax is the next grand duke with Furfur as their 2nd in command. But hell is unfair and I'm not so sure they reward hard working demons, not to mention Shax killed 70 demons under their command (sure it was against an angel but come on). Dagon's another alias is Lord of the FILES (disappointing they didn't have scenes with Belzeebub tbh) they could actually be nxt. Lastly I'm pretty sure Satan would want someone "close" as the nxt grand duke AND a Master of Torments. So uh yea.

Or maybe what if at the end of it all Dagon becomes the nxt grand duke and Michael finally becomes supreme archangel. OR Jesus doesn't want 2nd coming anymore, Michael and Dagon become fed up bcuz no war and then they decide to retire together.
