My first new post of the new year!

just for a little update, i just finished laurel everywhere which is the book I did this journal on. ( highly reccomend) but due to the end of the semester I have a little break from school currently. How have y'all been recently?

seen a lot of these with your favorites, but reblog with the CURRENT book you are reading, show you are streaming, the last movie you watched, and any game/puzzle/crafts you’re working on 

morning studying and evening reading.

had to give a presentation about shostakovich, debussy and ravel today and tomorrow i am writing my first exam this semester about literature of the middle ages.  so of course i am procrastinating by re-reading another book i need to know well for an exam next week. 

alright, I managed to pull myself together and finish preparing and recording a video presentation on generative learning. i feel kind of bad knowing all these great strategies for understanding and retaining material, but only ever doing summaries! anyway, i also prepped my bullet journal for next week and it seems like I have another grueling week ahead work-wise... but i’ll manage, and i also have a few diy projects to look forward to this week!

the colors themselves are inspired by lorde’s melodrama, which i maaay have listened to a little obsessively over winter break. the colors on that album are GORGEOUS, and while i kinda veered off into my own thing, i really like the interplay of the dark blues and teals with the tans and reddish-browns 😍

First day back in the office in over a year. Still a bit nervous about the crowds on campus (fingers crossed there won’t be another outbreak), but it felt good to be back, and I’m feeling more motivated and positive about my thesis after meeting with my supervisor

I’m pretty sure it has been more than a year since I have posted original content on my studyblr, I hope you are doing well!! Update: I have finished the ib and graduated high school and am waiting to start university in a month!
