why should you change it?
When you guys pop up in our notifications, most seasoned tumblr users will suspect you’re a bot and block on sight.
why do we block immediately?
tumblr has a history of bots trying to infiltrate and establish a connection to a valid, existing blog in order to populate google searches. Simply liking or reblogging a post, not just adding a scam link to it, establishes this connection. Tumblr users don’t want this to happen, especially if it’s a scammy p*rn bot. So, we often block on sight.
So now I have to reblog stuff AND change my pfp?
Well, of course that’s up to you! I just want to explain why you may have been already blocked by an artist/blogger you may have discovered recently, and how you can avoid it in the future.
Reblogging does help creators more than likes because your reblogs will show up on the dash of those that may follow you. Plus, reblogging puts that post on your own blog, and in case the original gets deleted or edited by the OP, it’ll be on your blog like that–forever (or until you delete your blog). Nice.

Kaminari Denki (Revealed by Mina)
- A sleepover with the Bakusquad seemed like fun, it was never stressful and always made you forget about your stresses. That is until Mina brought up the topic of love, looking directly at you as she gushed about old crush stories. Pure terror froze your body as you prayed that she wouldn't spill everything, especially since the last thing you wanted to do was to ruin your five year friendship with Kaminari.
- Since everyone became rather playful after revealing their own romantic stories, Mina suggested to do a confession version of Pocky. Where they ask the two players a question, and if they agree to the question they have to take a bite. The room was laughing and excited for the game, but you knew exactly what your childhood best friend had up her sleeves.
...
"Kaminari and Y/n, grab a Pocky stick." Mina ordered cutely, sending a quick wink your way.
Mina knew about your five year long crush on Kaminari, she knew since you all met in middle school. She was patient with your reserved emotions towards him, but it was becoming too much recently. You were madly in love with Denki, but never dared to even hint at it. So you left her no choice but to take it into her own hands.
"Bite if you've had a wet dream about each other." She called out, the room screaming as Denki instantly took a bite. His golden eyes piercing through yours as you hesitantly bit off the stick.
"Bite if you would bone your partner." Denki again took off a piece of the dessert, letting you take your time with your small nibbles.
The questions stayed relatively suggestive, asking about certain toys, crushes, kisses, and past relationships. She waited until you two were practically lip to lip for her last question. The question she knew you had to answer truthfully, especially after seeing how much Denki has thought about you.
"Specific for y/n, bite down if you have a five year long crush on Kaminari Denki. That you none stop talk about with me, and refuse to reveal to him because you think he'll reject you." She commented, leaving the bedroom silent as Jiro choked on her boba tea.
Your teeth softly nibbled off another piece of the stick, making Jiro and Kirishima squeal in thier corner as they awaited Denki's reaction. The dessert was soon forgotten when Denki took the rest into his mouth, molding his soft peach lips against yours. Softly pinning to the ground in front of all of your friends, Denki gave you one small peck on the lips before pulling out another Pocky stick and wiggling it with his teeth.
"Round two?" He teased, admiring your flustered state as you began to realize what had just happened.

Todoroki Shouto (Revealed by Midoriya)
- Midoriya accidently found about your crush after reading your journal, which he thought would be filled with notes about heroes... But instead it was notes about how sweet and attractive his best friend Todoroki was. Leaving the poor cinnomon roll stressed, because he didn't want to make you upset but also felt like he should be honest with his best friend.
- Later that day Todoroki invited him to get some snacks at the local bakery with him, since Uraraka's birthday was coming up and you all were going to surprise her with a party. Sadly the last thing on Midoriya's mind was the party, instead it was all of the clues about your crush that everyone missed or overlooked as being friendly. How did he never clue onto this? Did Todoroki like you back? Will you know he knows? What if he left a smudge?
...
"Midoriya are you alright? You are rather sweaty and look a bit pale. You can go home if you aren't feeling well." Shouto reassured, placing some mochi and cinnomon buns into a basket.
As if it couldn't become anymore stressful, you walked into the bakery with Iida close behind you. He forgot that you were in charge of the cake and decorating it, now you and Iida are going to want to chat with him and Todoroki. And you are going to be able to tell that something is wrong, and then Iida could pressure him into revealing what it is and then you could possibly hate him for invading your privacy.
"Izuku? Did you hear what Iida asked? He asked if you think pink or white would be a better icing base color." You repeated, concerned as you softly but the back of your palm to his head to check his tempature.
"I read your journal thinking it would tell me more facts about present Mic since you have been tutored by him before but instead I found out that you have a huge crush on Todoroki Kun and now I feel really guilty and rude since I went through your stuff without permission and I'm worried that you'll hate me now because I just revealed your crush in front of everyone plus you probably didn't want anyone to know about your feelings since your rather reserved with that and now I totally ruined it so you probably really hate me now. I also borrowed your chapstick.... I'm sorry. " Midoriya ranted, barely taking a breath throughout it all as the three of you processed his words.
Iida was the first to process it, coughing awkwardly before analyzing the different icing pipers. Then Todoroki, who became bright red as he remembered what 'crush' meant ever since Aoyama explained it to him. And finally it hit you, Midoriya just exposed your secrets in front of a crowded bakery where strangers all began to look at your in curiosity. Did you want to kill him? A bit. We're you going to? No. Was it because Shouto was right there? Yes.
"Is this true Y/n? Do you have romantic feelings for me?" Shouto asked, his nimble pale fingers fiddling with the handle of his basket.
Completely cornered into one option thanks to Izuku, you cautiously nodded yes as you awaited rejection. You didn't want this to come out because Shouto was so hard to read, he could easily not feel the same way about you and become very cold towards you due to his knowledge of your crush. But this situation was completely taken out of your hands.
"I guess this means I must take you out on a date then, since I have a 'crush' on you as well." He muttered shyly, a calm smile gracing his lips.

Katsuki Bakugo (Revealed by Jirou)
- Kirishima kept prying Jirou for information about your secret, he overheard you and Jirou whispering about something and now he needs to know. Being the good friend that she is, Jirou told Kirishima to come alone so no one could overhear your very secret information. But being the loyal friend to Bakugo, he put him on speaker secretly as he awaited Jirou's arrival.
- Bakugo was curious, wondering if maybe you were a traitor, were dating Deku, cheated on a test, or maybe even admired his amazing quirk. So he ordered Kirishima to secretly call him and put him on speaker as Jiro talks with him. Despite Kirishima's complaints about invading your privacy like this, he still complied since Bakugo was his best friend.
...
"Thanks for coming alone Kirishima, Y/n would probably lock herself/himself in her/his room if anyone else found out about her/his secret." Jirou sighed, knowing exactly why you wanted to keep your information so hidden.
Bakugo turned his call volume to its max point, pressing hsi ear close to the phone as he made sure everything around him was quiet. Despite what many classmates believe, Bakugo could develope feelings for someone. And that someone happened to be you, ever since you praised him on his fighting skills and compared him to All Might... He's been absolutely smitten for you. But he'll never admit until you do first.
"So what's the secret, and why is she/he so protective over it?" Kirishima asked, casually pulling his phone up from his pocket so Jirou's voice could be heard more clearly.
"Y/n really likes Bakugo, like a very serious crush level of liking... Probably a small step below love. The reason y/n doesn't want anyone knowing are for two main reasons, 1. Mineta body shamed her/him for not being hot enough which made her/him a bit self conscious. And 2. She's/he's worried Bakugo would never like her/him back. " Jirou explained, Bakugo completely zoning out after Jirou revealed your humongous crush on him.
Bakugo hung up the phone quickly, not letting another second past by before letting you know how he really feels. He was angry at Mineta, he was frustrated by how long it took for you to confess, and he was exctatic that you have feelings for him. A mix of all of these emotions out together simply came off as passionate, the same passionate feeling he shows off when he wins a battle or beats someone at a test. Pounding at your door, he shoved his hands into his pockets listening to the door being unlocked.
"Hello Bakugo, what brings you her-" Before you could welcome him into your dorm, he smashes his lips against yours before shutting the door behind him.
You had no idea what came over the usually mean and tough classmate, but you certainly weren't complaining. Bakugo lifted you against the wall as your legs circled around his waist, tongues dancing together messily. It's like everything he's been building up finally burst at the reveal of your crush, all of his emotions taking over his thoughts while he got hypnotized by your addictive kisses. He hated feeling vulnerable, but he certainly didn't mind letting you make him a blushing passionate mess.
"I know you're probably wondering why the hell I'm making out with you, but I'll explain everything on out date tomorrow." He huffed, taking one last breath before crashing his lips to yours once more.

Hitoshi Shinso (Revealed by Eri)
- You were a frequent babysitter for Eri, so much so that she began seeing you as an older sibling rather than just some random babysitter. She loved the classic story of a princess and prince or any royalty for that matter, so you'd tell her about your crush on a boy named Shinso. A boy you never thought she'd meet, a boy you never hoped she'd meet because you knew she would tell him everything.
- Yet there he was, sitting across from her sipping imaginary tea. Aizawa resorting to him since you were home sick with a terrible flu, not knowing that this situation would make you throw up even if you weren't terribly sick. Eri has heard so many stories about Shinso, and how cute you think he is, how strong he is, how he looks like a prince with fluffy purple hair, and here he is sitting in front of her not knowing about your feelings at all.
...
"My usual babysitter says you're a prince, like a super pretty prince who can defeat any bad guy he wants to." She commented, making Shinso smirk into his toy cup as he wondered who the babysitter is.
Eri had a small sweet plan in her head, there were a few soup cans in the cupboards that always help her when she's sick. So why not deliver them to you after her tea party with Shinso? Plus you'd be able to see your pretty prince that you've told her so many stories about. Eri didn't realize that there was a possibility of Shinso not liking you back, and becoming awkward around you afterwards. All she wanted to do was make you feel better, and see some actual fairytale characters come to life.
"Let's go deliver that soup!" She exclaimed, making Shinso laugh as he placed the three cans of soup into a small plastic bag. Somewhat excited to see who his admirer is.
"Y/n will be glad you grabbed vegetable soup, that's her/his favorite kind. I don't really like it, I like chicken noodle a lot more... But maybe it's because she's/he's older and that's why y/n likes that soup." Eri commented, not noticing Shinso's wide eyes when she revealed the name of his long time crush.
This can't just be a coincidence right? You happened to love kids, know Aizawa well, and share the same class with him. There is no way there's another student at UA with the same name and situation as you. Shinso stood behind Eri as she knocked lightly on your front door, a bright blush creeping upon his face as he witnessed your beautiful face greet your small young friend. It was true, his crush considered him prince worthy and has admired him for years now.
"I brought your prince over y/n, he looks a bit too tired to be super prince like but I can see why you like him." She continued on, passing you the bag of soup with a cheerful grin.
Despite being in pajamas, having messy bed head, and looking rather ill. Shinso has never laid eyes on someone so gorgeous, you truly do look like royalty and he can't beleive you have feelings for him. Some introverted insomniac who barely talks to you, but has admired you for so long. He never thought you noticed him or ever would, but here he was standing at your dorr step as Eri confessed all of your sweet secrets to him.
"Eri was right, you do look like your from a fairytale. I should be lucky you even notice me, I never thought someone so great as you did." He confessed, smiling cheekily as a warm blush crossed over your face.

Monoma Neito (Revealed by Tetsutetsu)
- Tetsutetsu knew about your crush on the very blunt and egotistical Neito, he found out shortly after his second date with Kendo when she pointed out how obvious your crush was on Monoma. He wished this wasn't the case, he wished it could've been Shinso, Kirishima, or even Tokoyami. But no... It had to be one of the biggest asshole in UA.
- Tetsutetsu saw how Monoma gave you no thought, only ever focusing on being better than 1a. No matter how much you tried to get his attention, he always brushed you off so he could do something more important. It went on for five months until you finally let the realization hit you, that Monoma would simply never want to be that close to you. He barely even considered your a friend, all thanks to his focus being on the wrong topics.
...
"Why can't you be nice to y/n for one goddamn minute?!" Tetsutetsu hissed, shocking Monoma as his iron fists nearly broke his table.
Monoma didn't understand what he classmate was referring to, he didn't recall being overly harsh towards you or ever calling you names. He respected you as a strong hero and found you rather cute, so how could he have upset you in such a way? You both talked from time to time, had a couple projects together, went to all of the same schools, and neither of you got closer or farther apart from the neutral friendship you've developed.
"I don't know what you're talking about Tetsutetsu." Monoma replied, a serious tone replacing his usual snooty act.
"Y/n has been upset for the last two months because of you, Monoma. You never talk with her/him anymore, you brush off all of her/his opinions and thoughts, you ignore her/him all of the time, and yet she/he still managed to grow feelings for such a jackass. Feelings that you've continuously brushed off and ignored because of class 1a." The steel boy ranted on, completely fed up with the ignorant behavior of Neito.
Monoma always thought you were simply being friendly, the way you treat everyone one around you. He never realised that you were the only one who was patient with his antics, listened to his rants, or put up with his pretencious behavior. You were completely smitten and he was too caught up with being better than everyone to notice this. He wasn't one to admit his wrongdoings, but this certainly hit a part of his heart that he didn't know he had. He upset the only person who cared about him.
"I-I.... I have to go." Monoma muttered, rushing out of Tetsutetsu's way so he could catch you at the bus stop before you went home.
The rain was pouring rather harshly outside, Monoma barely able to see your figure a few feet away from his as you waited for your bus. Your purple umbrella protecting you from the terrible weather, but not being able to keep you warm as the raindrops felt like ice against your normally warm flesh. Two warm arms wrapped around your torso, drenched blonde hair was all you could see as Monoma hid his face into the crook of your neck. His body shivering with yours, as you both huddled close to stay warm. His wet hands soon cupping your beet red cheeks, grey eyes peering into yours as he wondered why he never paid more attention to you.
"If you don't freeze to death, I want to take you out for dinner to apologize and start a new chapter with you." He whispered, placing a Swift kiss to the top of your head as your bus was making its way towards your stop.

Shigiraki Tomura (Revealed by Toga)
- Toga knew about your crush on Shigiraki, constantly begging you to confess to him so she could have some sort of entertainment. She loved love, and could watch happy couples all day long with a content feeling on her heart. Which also meant she was very close to forcing you to confess to Shigiraki if you didn't do it already, a large amount of pressure residing on your shoulders.
- To make her stop whining about your hesitance, you lied to her. Saying you already confessed to Shigiraki, and he wants to keep the relationship casual and private. That way she wouldn't be suspicious if there isn't much PDA, she would stop pestering you about your crush, she wouldn't tell him herself, and you could finally have a bit of peace for a night. But life had other plans for you, it's plan taking place in Toga's big mouth when she decided she wanted to give Shigiraki a small makeover for fun. One he was forced into you... Because he lost a bet with Dabi.
...
"You'll look so good for your next date, Shiggy." She praised, pulling his slightly knotted hair into a man bun.
That wasn't an odd statement to hear from Toga if it is being generalized, but to make it aimed at him was definitely not a normal thing to say. The last thing they talked about were relationships and love, mostly because she talked too much when it was the topic and he thinks he's unlovable. Shigiraki assumed she was just in a playful mood and was trying to tease him because she was finally able to give him a makeover, but the odd statement still stayed in the back of his mind.
"Y/n is definitely going to want to bone you after this." She teased, stopping abruptly when Shigiraki jumped in his seat.
"Why would she want to do that?! Are you up to something Toga? Are you setting us up? Y/n and I don't like surprises like that and you know this." Shigiraki questioned, startled by the abrupt thought of you having sex with him of all people.
Toga laughed into her hand, realizing the lie you told her to keep her mouth shut. You played her like an instrument so your crush wouldn't be revealed, well now she just has to to tell him the truth. Or else he'll be confused for the rest of the week and think she's crazier than she usually is. If it wasn't perfect timing, you walked into the room with a bag full of supper ingredients as everyone had their eyes locked onto your figure. Toga chuckling minacly as Shigiraki awaited an explanation.
"Y/n~ Were you lying about confessing to Shigiraki so I wouldn't tell him how in love you are with him? You really got me for a good while y/n~ but Shigiraki just told me that he doesn't know about your crush on him, so your fun is now over and mine has just begun. " She teased, hooping your nose as you stood frozen in place out of fear.
Toga skipped over to collect her makeup supplies, leaving you and Shigiraki shocked at her statement. He never would've guessed that you had feelings for him, he would've assumed Dabi or Twice over him. He wouldn't be able to hold your hand properly, had the highest chance of being assassinated out of everyone, looked very strange in many people's eyes, and doesn't know how to show his love at all. Yet you fell in love with him and all of his baggage, knowing there was a chance that he could not feel the same way and reject you.
"I would kill Toga right now if it weren't for the fact that I love you too. I just never knew how to tell you, and I didn't think you'd ever have feelings for a freak like me. But I guess you're just as crazy as I am." He revealed, walking over to drape himself over you as a way of asking for a hug.

b.katsuki / f.reader
genre: dad!bakugou, mom!reader, married au, domestic lol
additional/warning(s): baku-daughter is misuzu, she's a sweet lil girl, misuzu misunderstands the phrase 'daddys girl', she also cries (a few times), shit is just fluffy with a very wholesome family dynamic
w.count: 4.6k
synopsis: you've just recently returned to work after some time off to spend with your daughter. you're caught up in an interview asking about how your home life is- as intrusive as that is. you explain that your daughter is definitely a total daddy's girl. misuzu hears that and is now on a mission to prove she loves her mom just as much as her dad.
a/n: accidentally falling in love with misuzu whoops
"Daddy!" The little girl with wavy, shoulder-length blonde locks and who only came up to her father's thigh in height breaks into a wide, cheerful grin as her equally blond dad pulls into the elementary school's pick-up lane. Knowing damn well he wasn't allowed to park, he scoffs and smiles to himself inside the vehicle and parks it. Unbuckling his seatbelt, he lifts himself from the driver's seat and steps out to greet his little girl.
"Suzu!" He calls back, mocking her high-pitched call of delight. He rounds the car, stopping at the curbside and kneeling to catch the speeding bullet that is his 7-year-old daughter. She crashes into his chest, chock-full of giggles that only succeeds in pulling small, intermitting laughs from her father.
Although she was delighted to see her father, Misuzu was slightly confused about why he was picking her up from school. Typically, he would be in the middle of work right now, especially on the weekdays. Pulling away from him and only keeping him at arm's length, she looks up at Katsuki.
"Daddy, why are you picking me up today? Where's mommy?"
"Well," he begins, gently pushing the straps of her backpack off her shoulders so he could take it from her, "mommy had some very important last-minute work stuff to do. So, you're stuck with mean ole daddy." His face breaks into a playful smirk that shows his upper gums as he begins attacking his daughter's sides in small pinches, causing her to squirm and laugh. He stops as soon as her cheeks were flushed and quickly follows up his attacks with kisses to the top of her head.
Anyone who knew of Katsuki would be shocked to see just how gently and playfully he interacts with the little girl who looks so much like him. Throughout his entire hero career, he always made sure to carry himself with ego-reeking pride and a very nose-high attitude when it came to blowing away any threats that came his way.
It was always quite the scene to see such a rough, force-driven man devolve into a mushy man made up of soft dad genes. No one could ever say he didn't love his child.
Standing, he takes Misuzu's hand in his and her backpack in his other as he unlocks the backseat of his car. Helping her inside, he buckles her securely into her booster seat. She may be seven now, but she was still too short to go without one. And it's not like she hasn't fought to not sit in it before; so, until she gets to the proper height, he asks her to keep using it for her own safety.
Closing her door, he walks to the other side of the car, opening the back door, setting her bag on the floorboard, and then opens his own door to get in.
Starting up the car, he glances into the rearview mirror to see Misuzu waving out the window to her friends who wave back before going off to be picked up themselves.
The drive home starts off silent before Katsuki clicks on the radio. Immediately, the voice of an interviewer sounds into the space of the car. Ready to change the station to something more entertaining for his daughter, Misuzu was quickly telling him to leave it on because of the second voice that follows after the interviewer.
"That's mommy!" She squeals, making Katsuki inwardly wince at the shrill sound.
"Lower your voice, Girlie," he tells her. He's been calling her that since she was an infant. The nickname just sort of stuck with him, and she didn't seem to mind it either, so there was no telling when, or if, it would ever go away.
"Sorry," she quickly apologizes, "but can we listen to mommy?"
"If you really want to," he chuckles, pulling his hand away from the station buttons and instead turns the dial to up the volume. Misuzu seems to glow in the backseat at the sound of your voice. "This is what mommy had to rush off to do today. Last-minute interview."
The two of them listen to the back and forth banter and questions for a bit. They would even occasionally interupt the interview with their own voices and thoughts as some sort of live, solitary commetary.
"Suzu," Kastuki calls, looking back at her through the rearview while stopped at a traffic light. She hums back, signalling to her father she was listening while staring out the car window. "What do you want for dinner tonight? Your mother said I could cook."
Her eyes brightened as her small hands clenched into excited fists that came up to her chest. Katsuki usually only cooks on weekends when he could spare the extra time since he always works so late on weekdays. So, having him cook dinner on a weekday was an unusual treat.
"Hamburger steak!"
"Hmm," he hums, as Misuzu kicks her legs. "Okay, if you really want hamburgers, you have to promise to eat the broccoli and carrots with it too."
The little girl opens her mouth and produces an overdramatic 'yuck' at the thought. She could handle carrots, fine, but broccoli was always a challenge for her. Of course, if push came to shove and she really truly didn't want to eat the green veggie, you'd just substitute more carrots in their place.
Katsuki and you both made it a habit to be open-minded with your growing daughter and her food preferences. Always trying to balance her meals with only a few snacks a day and some sweets on the side. Never forcing her to eat foods she dislikes and never getting angry if she tries a portion of new food and doesn't like it. As long as she tries at least one bite, that was enough.
"Can we have corn instead of broccoli?" She tries bargaining. If memory serves, there should still be a foam tray of wrapped cobbed corn sitting in his fridge crisper. He taps his index finger on the steering wheel before turning it as soon as the light changes from red to green.
"Corn huh? I guess we can swap it out for broccoli."
"Yes," she hisses in victory as she leans back in her booster and resumes looking out the window, gloating in her victory. The newfound silence gives full control back to the interview that gains Katsuki's attention when the interviewer mentions life at home.
He rolls his eyes.
The media really couldn't just keep their nose out of anything, could they? It wasn't their house, their family, or their business. If it were him in your shoes, he would tell them to shove off and leave his family out of interviews unless they chose to be included beforehand.
Still, you answered.
"Homelife? As typical as any other happy household. Spending time with my daughter and husband, no matter how short or long, is all I can really ask for."
Katsuki could hear the smile in your voice.
"Your little daughter is in school now, correct? How is she adjusting to school life? Is it hard to raise a child and have both parents be busy as active pros?"
Okay, forget the interview questions. That was borderline prying. The spiky blond bit back a curse, not wanting to let his young child in the back hear such nasty words straight from his mouth.
"She's doing wonderfully at school," Misuzu buzzes in giddiness at her mother's praise over the radio. "As for us parents, she's very understanding of Ground Zero's schedule as well as my own."
"Would you say she takes more after yourself or your husband then?"
"Misuzu is her own person. She definitely doesn't have his temperament, but she sure is crafty. Still, she's a very kind and sweet child. Though, Misuzu is absolutely a daddy's girl, she adores him to pieces."
Any further questions that were aimed at your home life were graciously and kindly directed away. You felt like you had talked about your husband and child enough for an interview about your hero work.
It's quiet for a bit and the interview ends, replaced with a mindnumbing, elevator-esque music genre. Before he could swap stations, his daughter speaks up from the back again.
"Daddy?"
"Yes?" He replies, keeping his eyes on the road that would quickly lead to their home.
"What does being a 'daddy's girl' mean?"
"It means that you love your daddy," he answers easily, effortlessly pulling the car into the driveway of your home and opening the garage door with the button in his car. "And that you like spending time with me."
As he parks the car, he's turning the volume dial to the radio down so it doesn't blare the next time the car is started. He's also checking to make sure everything is set for the next ride and nothing is misplaced, going so far as to straighten the wheels. He's interrupted by a small sniffle behind him.
He freezes before he's twisting around to see his daughter, teary-eyed and grabbing at the bottom hem of her shirt.
"Misuzu, what's wrong?" He coos from the front as she sniffles and brings one hand up to push the heel of her palm against her cheeks up to her eyes.
He's jumping out of the car when she doesn't answer him and rounding it in quick jogs to open her door. She's already fiddling clumsily with her booster straps to free herself from the seat and when Katsuki helps undo it all, she all but flops into his arms and cries.
She's wrapping her small arms around his neck, crying and sniffling into his shoulder as he rubs her head and back. Shushing her gently he tries again.
"What's wrong? Do you not feel well? Stomach ache or something?"
She shakes her head not lifting it from where it's hidden in her father's shoulder and he just sighs. Remaining knelt by the cooling down car, he just soothes her until her cries die down to hiccups and she was able to talk.
"I love mommy," Misuzu's choked voice garbles out. Katsuki's brow furrows.
"I know you do. Mommy loves you too, you know that."
"But- but she said I'm a daddys girl," she sniffles again trying to enunciate the words. "A-and you said that that means I love daddy more." He cocks his head but seals his lips. He most definitely did not say that you loved him more. "Does mommy think I don't love her?"
Before he can begin to try and ease his little girl's worries, Misuzu all but gets caught up in a new round of fits and tears at the thought of you thinking she didn't love you too. He once again takes her in his arms, but this time lifting her up.
Holding the girl to his chest, she squeezes her arms around his neck tighter. Her small legs hung on either side of his hips while one of his arms stay under her rear to keep her supported. The other shut the car door and locked it with the push of the button his keyring. Making a mental note to grab her backpack out of the car later.
He continues to coo her into settling down while he enters the house as she continues to weep over the dilemma that wasn't even a dilemma in the first place.
Oh man, he thinks to himself as he steps inside the house. How was he going to work through this?
You arrive hom and park your own vehicle into the driveway next to Katsuki's as you grab for your small bag resting on the passenger seat and exit the still-warm car. Fishing your keys from your pocket, you open your front door and step inside, feeling yourself relax at finally being back home.
"I'm back!" You call out, hanging your keys up on the four-pronged key holder Kirishima had bought you guys as a housewarming gift. Katsuki thought it was lame, but you thought it was thoughtful enough he got you guys anything- plus it was useful.
Before you could heel off your shoes, from around the corner, a small figure is dashing straight towards you.
"Mommy!" Misuzu cheers as you quickly scoop her up from under her arms and lift her to your height. She giggles as her legs that were on either side of your waist kick making her heels bounce off your hips. Your hands were clasped under her as she held onto the front of your shirt in small fistfulls.
"Hello to you too, Little Bullet." Misuzu giggles at the nickname only reserved for when she was running around with far too much energy. You walk with your daughter in your arms into the living room where Katsuki was sitting in the middle of the couch, one arm on the back of the cushions and the other holding the remote to the tv, lazily flipping through channels.
"Daddy, mommy's home!" Misuzu calls from the hall into the living room.
He lifts head, twisting it to look behind at you carrying the little blonde and walking to the back of the couch. He cranes his neck to look up at you as Misuzu twists in your arms to look at what was playing on the tv the best she could. It was some random documentary he stopped on in the midst of channel surfing.
"I'm back," you repeat softly as you set Misuzu down gently to let her go and resume playing. Leaning down to gently greet your husband with a small kiss as he smiles up to you.
"How was it today?"
"Typical," you shrug as you round the couch to properly sit beside him on the cushions in front of Katsuki's arm that rested on the top of it. His limp hand moved to rub your shoulder.
"I hope you're okay with hamburger steak for dinner."
You chuckle a little before leaning slightly into Katsuki's side, letting all the tension from the day continue to fall away from you like chipped, dry dirt.
"Suzu decided on that, huh?"
"Yeah, and we broke a deal for corn and carrots instead of broccoli and carrots. You want the corn baked or boiled?"
"Hmmm, boiled tonight."
Katsuki hummed in affirmation before adding in a small 'I'll start cooking soon', before Misuzu was rushing back into the living room with a book in her hand.
This particular book was one ranging for young to junior ages. About 15 short chapters and barely 200 pages long. However, it was filled with magic and adventure and it happened to be Misuzu's favorite book to be read right now.
"Mommy," she stands in front of you as you straighen your posture, pulling away from leaning on Katsuki. "Can we read this again?"
You teasingly tap your cheek before you gently took the outstretched book offered to you. Without verbal confirmation, your daughter knew she was getting what she wanted. She crawls up on the couch, slotting herself in your lap and leaning her head against your chest.
"on that note," Katsuki huffs as he gets off the couch, "you two read away and I'll start dinner." You look up at Katsuki as he stretches, the book your child eagerly awaits for you to open in your hands.
"If you need any help, just shout."
"I can handle making food, moron," Katsuki breathes with a soft smile. Reaching out, he gently runs the back of his index finger along your cheek down to your chin. "Read Girlie her book."
As he walks to the kitchen and away from the living room, the sounds of the low volumne tv and you beginning to read the book you've read at least 10 times grown distant to his ears.
As he starts taking pans and pots out of cabinets and food from the fridge and pantry, he scoffs to himself and his lips lift into a smirk that offers a peek his gums. He remembers the words his daughter declared as soon as she calmed down from her crying fits with clenched fists and fire in her eyes that resembled his own ambitious embers.
"I'm going to spend so much time with mommy today that I'll have to be mommy's girl too!"
Katsuki swears he could see steam shoot from her nostrils with each breath at her declaration. Amping herself up for the very near mommy-daughter time.
"I'm not even going to correct her," Katsuki tells to himself about the issue. It wasn't as if you were just on time off to spend with her; but he's goint let Misuzu do what she wants since it's all harmless anyways. It wasn't like she was hurting anyone by spending time with her mother.
All throughout the rest of the afternoon and into the evening, Misuzu was glued to you. She had always been a clingy child, wanting to be played with or carried or included in anyway she could. She'd even willingly help with chores just to spend time with one of her parents; or at least she'd try and help.
Misuzu was in your lap while you read to her, she was trailing hot on your heels when you were walking around the house, she was standing outside in the hall when you were in the bathroom, and she even scooched her chair closer to yours at the dinner table.
As you ate, Misuzu was quick to start any conversations she could. Although her goal was to get your attention and spend time with you, she felt like she was leaving her dad out. She knew he knew of her plan, but she still wants to include him in dinnertime chitchat.
"Guess what I learned in school today," she opens conversation as she pops a piece of carrot in her mouth. Katsuki and you both hum. "I learned my multiplaction table. Did you know that something can be multiplied 12 times?"
"Kiddo," you start, chuckling and wiping at the corner her lips when she smears hamburger sauce on them. "You can multipliy numbers much more than 12 times."
"Really?!"
"If you keep talking and avoiding the rest of your vegetables on that plate, I'll multiply them," Katsuki emptily threatens, taking a hearty bite out of his corn cob.
"How about we challenge for veggies, dad!" Misuzu only ever refers to Katsuki as 'Dad' when she was ready to wager something or play a prank. It always made him smirk and then their eyes would match in fiery compition.
"Ohhh?" He drew out.
Misuzu threw out her fist. "Rock, paper, scissors for the rest of the veggies on my plate. If I win, you have to eat alllll of my veggies for me."
"Only on the condition that if you lose, you have to finish them off before you finish your hambuger and the rest of my carrots." Katsuki pointed at the four remaining side carrots on his plate with his chopsticks. You could see Misuzu's determination falter before you pat her back.
"I believe in you, Suzu!" You lightly cheer. Her eyes light up with stars as Katsuki fakes a pout.
"You're on her side and not mine? I'm your husband," he fakes in offense. You shrug and lean back, playing pacifist.
Needless to say, three rounds of rock, paper, scissors later, Misuzu was pouting as she scarfed down her vegetables as quickly as possible. Although, as token of good faith, Katsuki ate the rest of his carrots on his own.
After dinner, Katsuki goes to wash up for the night as Misuzu helps you with dinner clean up. She was taking plates and putting left overs in the containers you gave her before giving you the dirty dishes to wash. You were wiping off the counters and sink while Misuzu wipes down the table when Katsuki comes in with still damp hair and a towel on his head.
"Bathrooms empty if you want to shower and clean up." You nod as Misuzu goes to follow you yet again. However, she had already been cleaned off the day, taking a bath after she came home and had stopped crying. It was a comfort thing, after every bad fit or tempertanturm, she would fully calm down with a bubbly bath with one of her parents fawning over her.
Katsuki was quick to scoop her up, holding her tightly like the princess she is as he made sure she wouldn't slip from his hold.
"Why not let mom go and get cleaned up on her own? We can wait for her in the living room, okay?" Misuzu thought it over before she was nodding. "Good girl."
You trot to the bathroom and start undressing, more than ready to wash off the days events. The shower was something much needed as the last chips of exhasution finally fell off your shoulders. The hot water soothing your aching back and steam relaxing your senses.
When you came out of the shower, dressed and fresh the first thing on your mind was prepping Misuzu's lunch for the next day before you forgot or got too tired to do it. Going into the kitchen, you grab for the loaf of bread in the cupboard and then snatch her favorite strawberry jam and smooth peanut butter.
As you were cutting the crust from the bread's edge, since Misuzu was picky about bread crusts, you feel her behind you. Latching onto the back of both your legs, one arm linked around each.
"Yes, Sweetie?" You hum softly as you hear her very faintly yawn.
"I help," he tiredly whines, releasing one of your legs to rub at her eyes. You could tell what she was doing without even looking at her and you smile, setting the crustless bread pieces on the clean countertop.
"Not right now, baby," you coo. "You're a lttle too sleepy."
"'m not sleepy."
"Uh-huh, you want to know who else says that?" There was a brief pause. "Daddy does." You momentarily get lost in thought about how much of Katsuki was truly present in her small, gentle persona. Her fiery competitiveness, her drive to achieve things no matter how small they seem, and of course her stubborn nature. You were brought out of those thoughts the moment you heard the smallest sniffle behind you.
You had been spreading the tan peanut spread on a piece of bread before you immedately set it down and twist your upper body to look down at the top of your daughter's head. Her chin was down, tucked close to her chest as her forehead was pushing into the back of your thighs. Her shoulders jump occassionally with small sniffs, like she was trying to hide the fact she was most definitely crying.
"Oh, Sweetheart," you coo, gently detaching her from your legs and bending down to kneel on both knees in front of her. You take her hands into your own and hold them softly as she continues to sniffle while fat tears slowly trail down her cheeks. You could tell by her tense face she was trying to get them to stop. "What's wrong?"
"I love you, Mommy."
You raise one hand to her cheek, gently swiping away a tear that is quickly replaced by another. Her skin was flushed and warm to the touch because of her emotions.
"I know that, Baby. I love you too."
"I love you just as much as I love Daddy."
"I know," you gently repeat.
"So, I'm not just daddy's girl?" Your brow quirks at her question. Instantly you were confused. Your confusion was short lived however, when Katsuki comes into the kitchen, standing in the doorway with his shoulder against the wall.
"She heard your interview on the radio and thinks that her being a daddy's girl is something bad when it comes to her mom." There's a small smile on his lips and you could tell it was a conflicted one.
Conflicted in the sense that firstly, he has already been through at least two of these misunderstanding tantrums and secondly, he hates seeing his daughter upset, much less crying. And finding the situation a little silly along with it all.
Misuzu shuffles to get closer to you, latching her arms around your neck the best she could. Your arms engulf her tiny little body as you shush and rock her side to side, rubbing up and down her back reassuredly.
"Misuzu," you call to get her attention. She slowly pulls away from you as you hold her shoulders and keep her in front of you. You push your forehead against hers and make her lock eyes with you. "Being a daddy's girl doesn't mean that you love me anyless."
"But you said-"
"I know," you nod slightly, "I know what I said. It's not a bad thing, Sweetheart. Loving your dad isn't bad at all, so you don't need to cry over it."
"Can I be a mommy's girl too?" She sniffles and you have half a mind to lay on the floor and scream. Your daughter was just too cute.
"Yes," you lightly breathe with a laugh in your voice. "You most certainly can be a mommy's girl too."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
She sniffles once more before wiping haphazardly at her face, clearing it of all tear stains. She glances up at the counter and then back down at you with doey, wet eyes.
"Can I have extra jam on my sandwich?"
You laugh before you kiss her head and sweep her up into your arms before standing and swaying her around.
"Of course." It didn't take long of you swaying her that she was out like a light. She was still young, so all the crying she'd done throughout the afternoon and evening had tuckered her out as she slept against your chest. Arms hanging limp over your shoulders and cheek smooshed just under your chin.
Katsuki made his way over and gently ran his fingertips over her spine, relaxing her further as she slept. His other hand came to wrap around your back and settle on your hip, lightly massaging it with his thumb.
"She's cried enough to fill four jars today, I swear," he scoffs quietly at his daughter puffy face.
"She's only 7, this is serious stuff," you jokingly testify on Misuzu's behalf.
Katsuki steps just a milimeter close to you, tugging you closer to his body by your hip and kisses you easily. It's long and warm and loving. His hand on your hip tightens as he's pushing down further on your lips, trying to silently convey everything he's feeling into you without the use of words. By the way he feels you smiling back against his lips, he knows you understand.
You always do.
Pulling away, your cheeks are warm and he nestles against your nose with his own.
"I love you too," you quietly tell him. Soon, he's taking misuzu from you and easily walking her into her room where he tucks her into bed and lets her sleep for the night. The rest of the evening he's stuck to you.
Wrapping his arms around your middle in the kitchen while you finish tomorrow's lunches. Leaning against you on the couch while he toys and spins the wedding band resting on your finger that matches his. Snatching and holding your pinky as you walk to the bedroom ahead of him, ready to sleep. And holding you as close as possible as you both lay on the mattress.
He was happy his daughter loved you, but maybe he missed all his opputurnitys to cling to you today too.
Oh well, he sighs against your head as you were tucked under his chin. He's got you know and for the rest of his life, so what's one day lost to his kid?

DYNAMIGHT EXPOSES CRUSH ON WIFE - uploaded by HeroFeed, a trusted hero news network, two hours ago.
“Oh, hey,” you lean across the kitchen island, holding your phone out to Katsuki, “that interview’s already up.”
“Huh?” he turns away from the stove, brow raising, “You gonna watch it?”
“I dunno, maybe when you’re on a mission or something,” you shrug.
Katsuki leans forward and kisses your forehead, “Have fun, sap.”
“You’re the sap!”
“Fuck no.”
“I think the video would show otherwise.”
.
.
.
“Introduce yourselves,” comes from behind the camera.
Katsuki, ever the hater of interviews, huffs before following the instruction, “Great Explosion Murder God - Dynamight.”
“Bimbo.”
“No, be fuckin’ real,” Katsuki’s chuckling, oh so lightly, as he says it, “We’re doin’ this shit together.”
“Okay,” you look the camera dead in the lens as you say your hero name, “And that’s the truth.”
“It is,” Katsuki nods in your defense.
“Okay, first question - the best gift you’ve ever gotten?”
“Mina once got me a book of the worst poems ever, and on page nineteen it says ‘You ripped out my heart, so I ripped off your clit.’ And I think that’s beautiful,” you turn to your husband, placing a hand over his, “What about you, babe?”
“You,” he takes his other hand and places it over yours, “got me a shirt that says ‘Feminism’ over my boobs,” Katsuki turns his head to the camera, “and underneath, it says ‘it gives you great tits.’”
“Aw, I’m glad you like it.”
“How could I fuckin’ not?”
“Good answer,” you retract your hand but he takes it back, securing your hand within his own.
“Next - “ the voice behind the camera continues, “worst opinion you’ve ever heard?”
“Someone once said that Todoroki’s hotter than you,” you mumble, “Bad opinion.”
Katsuki nods, “I’ve heard kids call you ‘mid’, absolutely dogshit take,” he points at the camera, “I’ll kill anyone who thinks that my wife isn’t amazing and incredible because you’re all just fucking wrong.”
“Craziest dream you’ve ever had?”
“Last night,” you snap and point at the camera, “I dreamt that Katsu and I went to the zoo but all the animals were actually human babies.”
“What was I wearing?” he suddenly asks, prompting a quizzical stare from you, “You fuckin’ heard me. What was I wearing?”
“I- I dunno,” you shake your head, laughing at his serious expression, “Nothing.”
“I was butt-ass naked?” his eyes widen, “Pervert.”
“No, like, nothing of interest,” you shrug, “Dream you lacks drip.”
“Fuckin’ rude, dream me should know better,” Katsuki ‘tsk’s, then points at the camera, “Start dressing well for your wife, that’s my lesson. Even if you don’t have a wife, imagine you’re dressing for mine - and then cry because you’ll never get to know her like I do.”
“Katsu!” you lightly smack his shoulder with the hand not holding his, fully knowing he can barely feel it beneath his muscle, “That’s so rude!”
“You know who you married! I meant that shit!” he looks at the ceiling before glancing at you, “Craziest dream I had - I was chopping carrots but they all looked like Aizawa and were lecturing me on self-control.”
The woman asking you two questions from behind the camera laughs before asking the next question, “Cutest pet name between the two of you?”
“Oh! Oh! I’ve been waiting to talk about this,” you’re nearly jumping out of your seat with excitement and Katsuki can’t bring himself to smother down the small smile that sprouts at his lips, “One time, early in the morning, Katsu was all tired and said ‘Hi, Elmo,” and I assumed it was a joke or something but when I asked why he called me that, he just said, ‘I love Elmo.’”
“You call me bomb-boy,” he murmurs, squeezing your hand in his, “I like when you call me that. Makes me feel… fuckin’ cool.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Then I’ll do it more.”
He nods, squeezing your hand once more, and the woman asks her next question, “Something you’ve defended the other person for, even though you know they were in the wrong?”
“She,” Katsuki’s immediate to point at you, eyes wide, “fucking hit Endeavor’s giant ass fucking car. And I sat there and defended her.”
“As you should have,” you giggle, leaning over to kiss your husband’s cheek, “And thank you.”
“Well,” he shakes, “what the fuck was Endeavor doing on your road?”
“Exactly!” you cheer, “Anyway, I once looked our old homeroom teacher in the eye and said that Katsuki wasn’t technically breaking dress code because even though his pants were sagging, they weren’t low enough to be called sagging by code-standards,” you sigh dreamily, batting your eyelashes at your husband, “And I’d do it all over again.”
“And, of course, what would you do if your significant other was a worm?”
You answer first, “I would keep him alive in the most special tank and then mourn him when he dies after four years.”
“I,” Katsuki immediately follows after, “would drive myself fucking mad as a scientist trying desperately to figure out a way to turn you human so I could marry you.”
“How romantic,” you tease.
“And, lastly, anything you two think the audience should know?”
“This guy once went out with a bunch of his friends and texted me saying he was drunk, and like ten minutes later - Red Riot sends me a picture of him passed out with his phone on and zoomed in on one of our wedding pictures,” you pat your husband’s arm, “He loves me.”
“Speaking of our wedding,” Katsuki begins, “shitty hair asked me the day before we got married if I thought I was doing the right thing,” Katsuki scratches the side of his nose, dodging your eyes, “Getting married so fuckin’ young, I mean. He asked if I was doin’ the right thing and I told him I’d love you till the day I died,” he shakes his head when you grin and kiss his cheek, “‘s so fuckin’ cheesy.”
“Yeah, but it’s adorable,” you coo.
“I’m still tough,” he points into the camera, eyes narrowing, “I’ll kill you.”
“No, he won’t,” you smile, leaning into Katsuki’s side.
As if on instinct, he brings an arm around you, kissing the side of your head, “No, I won’t. I love my wife - I do what she says.”
“That’s my big, strong husband,” you jokingly pat his muscled chest, not noticing the way Katsuki seems to beam with pride at your words.
“Hell yeah, I am.”
And he’s more than willing to exclaim it in front of the camera as long as it makes you happy.

Your footsteps made soft thuds against the pavement. Your walks home after school were always lonely and quiet, but you preferred them that way.
"Hey, look who it is," you hated the voice that rang out behind you.
Why here? Why now?
You only wished you could curl up into a ball and let the world swallow you. It would be easier than the encounter that was about to happen.
"What the hell do you want, Bakugo?" you snapped as you turned to face the blond and his friends.
They walked towards you surrounding you.
"What's this?" Bakugo asked taking some of your belongings from your hands.
"Give it back," you demanded while reaching forwards toward your things.
Bakugo was just much quicker and stronger than you were. He pushed you away while moving your things further away.
His shove was harder than intended. It sent you crashing into the pavement below you. You let out a small noise in pain and shock when you hit the ground.
"Aw, are you gonna cry about it?" Bakugo asked towering over you.
Your bottom lip trembled slightly as tears did begin to well up in your eyes, but you swore not to let him see how he got to you. You clenched your hands into fists as your blood boiled.
"Just leave me alone, Bakugo," you snapped. "I would never cry over someone stupid like you."
His face went into shock with everyone else's. Even you were a bit surprised at your outburst, but it was the only way you could stop from crying. However, it was out of character for you.
"You hear that, guys?" Bakugo taunted lowering himself to your height on the ground. "They think they're all tough now. Is that what you think? You're tough?"
"N-no," you stuttered.
He laughed leaning backwards in an overexaggerated manner, "How pathetic."
He dropped your things in front of you. All your belongings scattered all over the sidewalk.
You began picking up your things trying to keep yourself together.
"What a freak," you heard Bakugo laugh out as he walked away.
Both of his friends who were with him were laughing uncontrollably.
What a freak.
That phrase echoed in your mind.
Your feet carried you home without much or any thought to it. You were focused on him.
What had you ever done to deserve this hate? You were top of your class and had a very impressive quirk, yet you still received more hate from everyone than even someone like Deku. It didn't matter. Who cares what they all thought? They're the... freaks.
It was dark all around. There was a dim light that beamed from right overhead. Silence filled the room. There was a thick air to everything that was happening.
The door opened. Your head snapped in its direction.
In walked none other than the pro hero you wanted to see least of all.
Katsuki Bakugo.
"Y/N?" he questioned.
"Yeah," you rolled your eyes.
"What the hell are you doing getting caught up in this mess?" he asked sitting across the table from you.
He still threw his weight around as if he owned whatever space he was in. He had a different air about him now. He was a bit calmer, but you could still sense his tense nature. He hadn't changed that much.
"I don't know what you're talking about," you shrugged.
He sighed, "We know you're not innocent. We caught you in the act."
"You didn't catch me doing anything," you snarked.
He got up with an annoyed groan.
You flinched a bit half-expecting more of the assault he caused you as kids.
Instead, he moved to the corner of the room. He shut off the camera that was in the corner. Then he shut off the blinds to the large window opposite you and the small one on the door. Then, he unplugged a recording device at the end of the table.
Finally, he sat across from you again.
"This is off the record now," he spoke. "What happened? What's going on? If someone put you up to this all you have to do is-"
You started laughing interrupting him.
"What?" he asked.
You calmed down a bit, "You really think that someone put me up to this?"
He paused for a moment, "Well, you were so determined back when we were kids to become a hero. You had an amazing quirk. I just-I guess I assumed that you-"
"Don't assume," you snapped.
"So, you meant to do all of this?"
"Of course I did."
"Why? What happened?"
"Why would you care what happened to a freak?"
It hit him like a load of bricks right to the skull.
"No," he breathed out.
You smirked and leaned back in the chair, "That's right, Bakugo. You the number two pro hero helped in my villain story."
"I didn't think you wou-I mean we were just kids," he explained.
"Words hurt," you spoke.
"I never knew," he said as if he was putting everything together... and he was. "I was so stupid back then."
"Seems you aren't much better now," you snarked.
He just looked at you.
"What?" you asked. "Did you think I would turn out a success story like Deku?"
"I didn't think you would turn out like this," he admitted.
You shrugged, "No one did."
There was a knock on the door.
"Guess your time here is up," you sighed out in relief.
"Come in," he said.
"We can't allow you any more time," another man said from just outside the door.
Bakugo got up and slumped over, "Yeah, yeah, I know."
He walked out sulking.
"Can't I just do jail time instead?" you groaned.
"It's crucial to the new program we have in place," the man in front of you explained. "This new rehabilitation program for... those who are known lawbreakers."
"You've truly got a way with words don't you?" you rolled your eyes.
The man ignored you and continued, "We've set you up with a hero who we believe will be best to work with you. We hope that you will cooperate and get through this trial period well."
"What if I don't?" you quipped.
"Then you'll be back to jail to serve your time," he explained.
You rolled your eyes with a groan, "Fine. I'll oblige."
"Come on, then," he instructed.
You stood from your seat and followed him.
The hallway which you walked down was dark. The small lights that were along the walls were all tinged yellow. Most of the lights were flickering as if they may go out at any moment.
Great facility they run here.
"Here you are, sir," the man spoke gesturing towards you. "She's all yours."
Your jaw almost hit the floor. You felt your entire body tense. You were seething.
Why him?
"Oh, shit," he muttered.
You turned to the man, "I don't think this is going to work out anymore."
"Did you actually think it would from the start?" Bakugo asked.
You turned quick to glare at him.
The other man chuckled lightheartedly, "If you're referring to your prior history with each other we are well aware and think that it might aid in your rehabilitation."
"Fat chance," you spat.
"Come on," Bakugo snarked.
There was a woman who came to meet with you both. She placed a tracker on you and explained to both of you how it would work.
"So, you're in my custody," Bakugo smirked at you while walking out of the building.
You rolled your eyes, "Don't be so smug about it. I don't plan on making this easy for you."
"Ditto," he nodded. "Come on."
You followed him down the street, "So, what are we doing today?"
"You'll see," he waved you off.
His entire demeanor over this infuriated you. He was such an ass back in school and now here he was getting everything you had ever wanted. No one knew who he really was. It frustrated you to no end. The world must see him as someone so different.
"Here we go," he spoke turning into a very large building.
You looked up to see the large lettering. Must have been some hero agency. Maybe even the one he worked for.
"Where are we?" you asked walking to catch up with him.
"My hero agency," he spoke.
"You're joking," you scoffed.
"Bakugo," a man with bright red hair beamed as he walked towards you both.
"What do you want, shitty hair?" Bakugo groaned.
Huh, who was that?
"Is this the one you were talking about?" the red-haired man asked.
He was a tall figure whose smile should have been terrifying with his sharp teeth barred, but it was warm and inviting somehow. He had bright red eyes that matched his hair. Over one of his eyes was a scar... now that you were looking over his body he had a few scars.
"I'm Kirishima," he beamed. "It's so nice to meet you."
His hand was outstretched towards yours. He looked so happy and excited.
You reached out your hand to take his, "Y/N."
"So, I hear that you and Bakugo went to school together," he started.
"Yeah," you scoffed.
"I bet he was just as peachy back then as he is now," Kirishima winked.
"We've got things to do," Bakugo groaned walking off.
You walked quickly to match his pace.
"He seemed nice," you smirked. "Unlikely that someone like him is friends with you."
Bakugo sighed, "He's my best friend."
"Even surpassing Deku," you chuckled.
"Shut it," he growled pushing you into an office.
You looked around. Everything in the room was so nice and neat and in perfect order.
"Whose office?" you asked.
"Mine," Bakugo shrugged walking towards some drawers.
You scoffed, "No way. Seriously."
"I am serious," he said.
You looked around again. You were slightly stunned that he would have such a nice place. Though, last you remembered he was a bit of a neat freak.
"Here," he spoke throwing some clothes at you.
You quickly grabbed it and held it up. It was a pretty tight looking bodysuit.
"What's this for?" you asked.
"We're going on patrol, and you can't be seen out patrolling in... that," he said gesturing to your jail attire.
You rolled your eyes, "So, where do I change?"
"Here," he shrugged. "I'll turn around."
"As if," you tsked.
"I can't let you out of my sight, so this is the best you'll get," he said turning around.
"I picked the wrong line of work," you groaned.
You quickly changed out of your jail clothes and pulled on the bodysuit.
"Do I get anything to go over this?" you asked.
"In the drawer over there are some other clothes," he waved to where he got the suit from. "Just get something you want to go over that."
"So, if I can pick something else why this then?" you asked.
He walked over to a cabinet and began taking out his own gear and suiting up, "Because it's the new protocol for this program."
"Whatever."
"Think you can keep up?" Bakugo asked as he ran in front of you.
Your eyebrows furrowed and you smirked at him, "You know I can."
"Remember, stay close to me, and don't get involved," he called out over his shoulder.
He started running into the battle that was going on in the middle of town. You were quick to chase after him. If you got too far away from him your tracker would go off which would alert the authorities. After one strike you were back to doing your time. However, you'd be lying if you didn't admit that you liked this.
"Over here," he called.
You quickly caught up to him after he had to make a series of maneuvers. You weren't authorized to use your full quirk abilities, but you were able to score a permit with this release for limited use. With that in mind using your quirk made it much easier to keep up and avoid the battle going on all around you.
"Bakugo, look out!" you yelled out to him.
He directed his attention to the oncoming debris from the battle. He threw a blast at it and was able to shatter it before it had a chance to hit him. Behind him was a group of citizens huddled together trying to take cover. You both had helped to save them.
"Cover me!" he yelled back.
Without missing a beat you were hot on his heels helping him to avoid all the attacks while he worked to take down villains.
Surprisingly, the two of you worked together very well.
Maybe he had changed some.
"Sure, here are the rest of the cuffs I used," Bakugo spoke handing over the quirk cuffs he had used on the villains.
"Y/N!" Kirishima called from behind you.
You turned and waved to him.
"How did you like that?" Kirishima asked.
You had really just come down from the adrenaline rush the battle gave you, but you were honest, "It was something else."
"Had fun, huh?" Bakugo asked nudging your arm.
You rolled your eyes.
"Don't ruin it for her," Kirishima scolded him before turning to you. "You know, you did a really good job saving those people."
"What are you talking about?" you asked.
"Those people that were about to get hit by the debris I crumbled," Bakugo chimed.
"I didn't do anything," you shrugged.
Bakugo rolled his eyes, "Yes, you did. I didn't see it. If it weren't for you, they would have been crushed with me."
"I didn't even realize," you spoke in awe.
"So, you mean to tell me you only yelled to me because it was about to hit me?" Bakugo smirked.
"Don't push it," you snapped.
"Not only that, but you worked to help take down two of the strongest villains we have on the streets right now," Kirishima chimed.
"It was nothing," you waved them off.
Kirishima started walking away when he called over his shoulder, "You two should try and get along better. You make a great team."
You looked over to Bakugo who was looking angrily towards Kirishima.
"I still don't see how someone like him tolerates your attitude," you giggled.
"One could say the same about you," Bakugo snapped.
You just continued to laugh and roll your eyes.
"Come on, loser," Bakugo groaned walking off. "It's about time for you to go back."
It was a fairly quiet walk back to Bakugo's agency. He didn't seem like he was interested in talking to you, and that was alright with you. He hadn't changed much. Maybe to others, he was different, but to you, he was the same.
"Get changed," he told you as you entered his office again.
"Don't we have some time?" you asked.
He sighed, "Being a hero isn't always just fighting. It's a lot of paperwork too."
"Is that what you're going to do now?" you pressed.
He sat down and started taking off some of his gear, "It's what I'm going to do. You're going to get changed and wait on me to finish the initial part of my report."
You sighed.
Still, you changed and plopped down on a chair in front of Bakugo's desk.
You just sat and watched him. There were small scars that littered some of his face, neck, shoulders, and arms that you hadn't noticed before. His eyebrows were furrowed as he stared intently as he typed up his report. That was probably why he had wrinkles around them along with the dark circles that were just starting to become visible under them.
"You should take a picture, it'll last longer," he smirked not looking up at you from his work.
"I was just admiring how ugly you were," you snapped back, crossing your arms and looking away.
"Good come back," he snickered.
There was a softness to him now. He was more relaxed and playful than he had been.
"So, can I ask why you chose the life you did?" he asked.
You thought for a moment about how you wanted to respond, "Because of people like you."
He looked up at you from his computer. He just stared for a moment waiting for you to elaborate.
"Well, you were out to become a great hero, but that didn't stop you from being an ass," you said flatly. "I didn't want to fall into a world with people like you."
"Oh, but villains are so much better?" he snapped back.
You rolled your eyes, "Do you even remember how mean to me you were? All the rude comments. You physically assaulted me on more than one occasion."
"I remember," he spoke.
There was a very slight hint of sadness in his voice. It was as if he really felt something over being so mean to you all those years ago.
"That's it?" you asked.
He sighed, "Look, there isn't going to be much that I can tell you that's going to change your opinion of me, right?"
You just looked at him a little surprised at his answer.
"I can say how sorry I am or how I've changed my ways, but that doesn't change the emotional and physical damage I did to you," he continued. "Why bother with someone who is so far gone? That's why I was against this program, to begin with. People like you will do anything to not own up to your own actions as a bad person."
"I'm the bad person?" you spat.
He scoffed, "Sure, I had my fair share of being a bad person back in the day, but I decided that I wanted to do better with my life. What did you do? Decide that you would cause others pain because it's what you went through. I turned all my hate around and finally put it to good use."
"Are you seriously still trying to make yourself sound better than be?" you snapped.
"No, but if that's how you take it then so be it," he shrugged.
"You have no idea what I went through to be here," you spat standing up out of anger. "I tried to push through and get into a good hero school and I got reject after reject. Most other schools didn't want to take in someone 'so talented'. I spent years trying to get into anything and got rejected for it all. I really never was good enough for anything."
"So why be a villain?" he pressed.
You continued, "I couldn't find work. I was living in the villain districts in town because it was all I could afford. I had to make friends where I could. The streets were scary. I had to make it on my own. No one ever cared about me or what happened to me. I was alone. What else was I supposed to do?"
"Did you try for a hero license?"
"More times than I can count. I got denied every time because of my poor skills with my quirk. I never really learned how to use my quirk how I needed to. I never had the proper training."
"So how did you get so good?"
"Eventually, other 'bad guys' started teaming up with me. Villain organizations will pay out more than you think for help. I started working with others and coordinating moves and quirks to learn how to use my abilities more."
A tear fell from your cheek. It was the first time you noticed you were crying.
"Shit," you mumbled.
"You're right, I didn't know any of that," Bakugo admitted. "Why didn't you ever reach out to anyone?"
You scoffed crossing your arms, "Yeah, like who? My school bully?"
"You didn't have anyone to turn to?" he pressed.
"No," you were practically sobbing at this point. "In fact, I met up with some people we used to go to school with in the villain district. They weren't so surprised to see me. They all understood."
"Others would have understood too."
"Like who? No one wanted to help me. I tried everything. There was no one left. We live in a cruel world, Bakugo. You got the easy route in life. I had to take the hard route and look where it got me. Working under you in a remedial program. Some glorious life I could have had, but you ruined it for me."
There was a knock at the door.
"Sit," Bakugo instructed. "Pull yourself together."
You did as instructed. You felt broken. This had brought up so many old memories and feelings. You hated him. Who cared if he changed? He was still the same person he had been before.
"Sir, it's time for you to leave," the woman who had entered the room spoke. "They're waiting for you and... them."
"We're coming," he nodded.
He watched her leave the room and waited a moment. Then, he looked at you.
"It's time to go," he spoke.
"It's probably for the better," you spat.
The walk back was again quiet. Before had been almost a comfortable silence. This... this was different. ]\=
'[The air was thick. There was an obvious wedge between the two of you that neither of you wanted to address. Instead, you would both rather have walked in uncomfortable silence and tension.
Your lungs felt tight. The air felt thick around you. It was hard for you to catch your breath, but like any other time you held it all in and acted as if everything was fine.
The rest of the day was a blur. You just coasted through on auto-pilot. Nothing mattered anymore. You were again reminded of why you were where you were, and it hurt. However, you were alone in this world. You had no one, and that was alright with you.
Once back in your cell you sat on your bed staring straight out in front of you.
"So, how did things go, sir?" you heard one of the guards ask.
"Fine, I guess," Bakugo spoke. "Though, I don't think it's best if I am paired with them for the program."
"That's sad to hear," the guard replied. "We hoped you both would be great fits for each other because of your past."
Bakugo grunted, "Yeah, that's the problem."
You broke down. You were completely broken. Your one chance at anything close to your dream was gone. You were... alone.
imagine: you having a crying sesh in your bed, seemingly for no reason. just felt like crying. so you’re scrolling thru social media, watching funny things with tears rolling down your face when you get a facetime from katsuki. you pick up, not caring about how you look, and only have ur eyes and forehead in the camera, katsuki doing the same thing. the call connects and the first thing out of your mouth is
“what dude i was in the middle of crying”
now, katsuki is worried, don’t get me wrong, but he laughs instead, baffled by you.
