help I just remembered the first time I ever spoke to a gay man—age 11, on AIM—I asked him if he’d ever had gay sex. he said yes. unable to think of anything else to add I said “I hope you had fun!” and he replied “yes, thank you”

AVERY / OC SHEET 2025
Been making a new set of ocs :))
Awful how trans kids are told they were indoctrinated into being trans.
I figured out I was trans when I was 12 years old. All it was was me seeing the word non-binary somewhere and searching it up. After seeing that definition, no understanding of the cultural and political connotations, I understood it was me. It defined an experience I never understood and could never speak on without these words created by others.
My gender to me was never a trend, never a fad, even if it did shift as I got older and learned more about myself.
Trans kids experiences are real and trans kids experiences are valid, no matter how temporary they may or may not be.
it literally never occurred to me that people actually looked at this blog, i'm used to the idea all my followers are bots and the people asking me the questions were my friend (which i genuinely thought the kangaroo one was, but now i know someone actually thinks kangaroos are stupid, which is very mean to the kangaroos what did they do to u)
it's cool to know that people are following me here and seeing my stuff :)
I was just grocery shopping and for a while I was in line behind the peak possible combination of parent and child, here is my 1 minute recreation from memory
I see the president was sworn in yesterday and has already done a bunch of shit. He declared that the only genders recognized are male and female and I very much assume requires people to remain in their biological sex.
I as a transmasc person am both intrigued and terrified for the next 4 years. I have yet to come out to anybody who isn’t a close/also trans friend and had been previously planning on coming out this year to my family + school. While I very much assume my family will accept me even if it takes them some time to wrap their heads around it, I think it’ll be interesting to see how my liberal-leaning private school (that has trans students and a trans teacher) goes abt it since its basically illegal in my state to be trans at school now starting a few months ago. The uncertainty of all this though is really scary bc even if I can’t get medical care for a few years thats not going to be the end of my world I could be facing much more than that.
I think over the next 4 years the best thing I or anyone can do is just continue moving on. Trans and queer people have always been around and we have always pushed through. I think that as long as we stay together and focus on our communities and making sure everyone can get through this it might just be okay. We all need to stand strong and watch for the light at the end of the tunnel.
