I need to vent a little bit. It’s been stressful with work and irl lately. Also, I’ve been feeling icky about my art. Impostor syndrome again.

Do u guys especially fellow artists feel like the longer you work on a project or comic, the more you feel like you’re overstaying your welcome? Like, the longer I work on and share my au comics, the more I feel ‘ah, People are sick of this series, maybe I should stop. It’s lame now, ppl dont wanna see my AU comics anymore’ kinda feeling. I know it’s just my tired brain talking. I am still having fun working on both my AU’s but man I’ve been feeling anxious and worried ppl are bored of my work.

Idk, maybe it’s just art project fatigue? I wish my brain would take it easy on me and stop planting self-doubt in my heart 🙂‍↕️😔🥲 anyways, dont worry I wont stop just yet. I’m just tired and a little stressed… and also sad about my art lately.

Folks on Tumblr absolutely love dragging and joking about this guy called Ea-Nasir. He’s a guy from 3,800 years ago who was basically a con man and is the subject of the world’s oldest-known customer service complaint letter. 

Always tag your posts for heavy topics that might trigger someone

Don’t use euphemisms for heavy topics when tagging your posts – this makes it hard for people to avoid the topics that trigger them.

You can blacklist topics that trigger or bother you.

You can block people you don’t want to interact with. You don’t need to feel bad about it or have a deep reason for it. You get to curate your experience on here and you don’t owe anybody an explanation.

Go to your settings and change it so that you can see the date a post was blogged. This comes in really useful for when you see news articles.

You can have as many blogs as you want! Some people have a mixed-topic blog that they consider their personal blog and then have themed blogs for their interests while others just have the one blog. Do whatever feels comfortable for you.

People’s souls vanish from the afterlife if their names stop being mentioned by those in the living world. You, an average person who hasn’t accomplished anything exceptional or abhorrent, have been here for 500 years and still haven’t vanished yet.

On one hand, I love a Jason that gets seriously injured and turns into a scared dog. *Mwah*, chef's kiss, 10/10.

On the other hand, I love a Jason that gets seriously injured and reverts back to his younger self.

Jason, seriously hurt, pointing one of his guns at Bruce: “Don't come any fuckin' closer! You just get yer ass out of here, I don't need yer damn help.. I never want yer help with anything ever again..”

Then you get a Bruce that has to try and calm the dog. That sits at the end of the alley a comfortable distance away and waits for his boy to come back to him. Holds his hand out and waits for the dog to inevitably give in and let Bruce take care of him.

BUT ALSO

Jason, slowly bleeding out on the floor of a random warehouse: “...”

Bruce, who just so happened to be busting the same criminals and probably just saved Jason's life: “..Jay?”

Jason, sounding like he's tearing up behind his helmet: “..I wanna go home now, dad..”

Bruce: “..Okay, Chum. We'll go home now. I'll take care of you.”
