I feel like we don’t talk about how Creepypasta is deeply connected emo/ scene culture. If you read fics from 2016 back you’ll see that a lot of the “y/ns” are emo/ scene girls. Jeff the Killer especially was an emo icon which is why he’s a cute emo guy in a lot of fan art and has a lot of scene kid art style art. It’s no coincidence that Toby’s “theme song” back in the day was “Dont You Dare Forget The Sun” by Get Scared. Also no coincidence that Sarcasm by Get scared was the “theme song” for Creepypasta characters in general. If you look at me and other emo girls today we’re most likely like/ liked Creepypasta. To this day I remember all the mansion fics with emo girl y/ns. Also no coincidence that the character made to represent the fandom, Nina, is an emo girl or at least emo inspired and ppl draw her scene/ emo in fanart. Her and Jeff were always drawn as emo boyfriend and scene girlfriend. God I love how my two favorite things collide. Feel free to add on more stuff! This is off the top of my head. :3
