This is probably mean but damn. I was already having a bad day I really didn't need this at Peter Piper of all places.
Oop, my bad!
I genuinely didn't mean to worry you! I was busy visiting family from out of town, and I ran out of pages in my sketchbook too, so I couldn't draw my boi.
I have a new doodle book now so more posts like this should be coming out more often!
Just thought of something for the boi's.
Whenever Purple gets sick, he tries to power through it and usually goes straight to working on one of his projects. Von Ryan over here hates getting sick, everything feels awful, his nose is congested, and the increase in temperature makes him feel gross. Not a great time in his humble opinion.
Luckily! He gets caught by the Medic Duo-
This time Sanzio caught Blue eating his snacks and proceeded to give chase until they both heard Purple sniffle. It's all good though.
They make a great team when the fam needs help.
I'll be honest, I forgot I drew these for a hot minute.
These were the last doodles from my old sketchbook and were mainly about the blue boi's.
I like the last doodle best. I think it shows that Blue wants to tell DaVinci something important, but deliberately holds himself back. There's nothing nefarious or worrying going on, just Blue being hesitant at being vulnerable. DaVinci's also got no eyes there cause he can't really see what's wrong.
More musings below the cut if you wanna read:
We all know Rise Leo is an absolute pro at masking his true feelings, which applies to Blue in this Au. While an amazing tactic in battle, it's kinda hard for his fam to get a clear understanding of what he wants or needs. That's why it takes a while for DaVinci to realize that Blue feels very insecure about his place in the family. I mean why wouldn't he be?
Red and Zio are the muscle, Purple and Nico are the brains, Orange and Simoni are the hearts. Even DaVinci has a place. He's the leader. The one who watches over everyone else, the one whose supposed to guide the team. Blue doesn't see himself as a leader, believing that his family cousin is doing just fine without him and doesn't need the help when that couldn't be further from the truth.
I don't think DaVinci realizes any of this and only has the ongoing sense that something is wrong. (Big brother sense???). He's low-key kinda frustrated cause he can't figure out what's wrong. It also sucks that DaVinci has a hard time asking for help despite leading his fam, he just doesn't want to make anyone worry. (He and Red are people pleasers in that way).
Idk, the point of this is that Blue doesn't feel like he's good enough for his fam, meanwhile DaVinci can tell that something's off and wants to help but can't really do so at the moment.
I was rewatching Helluva Boss, Spring Broken.
I see people calling Loona and Vortex's ship name, Lootex or Vorna. I know I did at first, but what if:
Thank you for your time

If your Able never got abstracted then I think him and my Abel could be pals. My version of Caine would definitely like him and be WAY more accepting of your Caine.
The Amazing Digital Circus finally got to me....
With that said, allow me to introduce you to the circus's very own...
Animal Tamer!!
Abel!
Aka, my own personal take on the speculation surrounding C&A.
There's biblical imagery in TADC if you look for it, especially when it comes to our beloved Ringmaster himself, Caine, who's believed to be named after the first murderer in the bible. That paired with the C&A logo that briefly shows up has led people to believe that Caine had a brother named Abel.
This is just what I think Abel would look like if he does show up in the future or at all. I imagine Abel's an AI, like Caine, but is surprisingly emotionally intelligent and ran the program that allowed humans to leave the circus. (Slight reference to @fannele's version of Able) If we follow the pilot, then something happened to him, but since Caine was described to be a silly guy by @gooseworx themselves, I don't think he had anything to do with it. (If he did it might've been an accident.) The programmers might have potentially removed Abel or accidentally deleted him for some reason, we can't know for sure.
Those are just my thoughts on Abel and whether it's right or wrong, I don't really care. I just like how this guy came out! I'll be honest though, I probably should've chosen a better pose that convey's Abel's personality a bit more. That and he just generally looks like Caine but with a different outfit and a different head. He low-key looks like if Caine wanted a to wear a very slight Sonic themed outfit.
Idk, I guess I just subconsciously wanted Caine and Abel to be twins. (Darn it ninja turtles you have invaded my brain even now!!).
Anyways. That's just my take, hope you like!
So chapter 4 or chapter 5 could be the last chapter
Chapter 4: Onwards and Downwards
After finishing the last of the Smiling Critters, all that remains is you and the Prototype. However, you have now decided you are on a mission to rescue your ally, Kissy Missy
And if chapter 5 is the last chapter
Chapter 5: The Last Obstacle
With failing to save Kissy Missy, you and Poppy are now on your final mission to set yourself free. It’s time to defeat The Prototype and end this madness once and for all.
Neat ideas. Hopefully we can save Kissy, but with how we've handled the toys so far I doubt it.
How hard do you think Rise Raph and maybe 2012 Leo relate to Luisa from Encanto?
Now that I think about it, isn't 2012 Leo kinda like a mix of Luisa and Isabella??
Like, y'all know Rise Raph is under some serious pressure from being the oldest brother. (Taking care of three VERY chaotic little bros is NOT an easy task. Luisa has it objectively worse since she goes out of her way to look after her ENTIRE family. How neither of them popped a blood vessel is beyond me but whatever.) 2012 Leo has the same issue but he's also under pressure when it comes to being perfect. (Isabella outright stated she was stuck being perfect her entire life which is similar to Leo) In the sense of being the perfect ninja I mean. I'm not sure if that's just a me thing or what, but now I'm thinking of those two meeting the older Madrigal's and them all meeting up just to vent and gossip. (Leo and Isabella at least. Raph and Luisa are probably lifting weights or just chilling like royalty)
All right so @billiam-shakespeare has a TMNT au that has Venus raising the Rise boys which has given me the motivation to talk about my own Mom Venus Au.
I actually thought about this AU for a little while before learning about billiam's AU (sry didn't want to tag you twice my dude). Anyway, the AU takes place in the 2012 series. Venus began life as a regular red eared slider that was taken care of by a young woman who's well versed in the art of magic. Venus had a different name too, Mei Phei Chi, and was taken in by the woman because she was lonely.
The woman was happy when she found out Mei Phei Chi had been carrying eggs and had gone to the local vet to see what she had to do to help the turtle. There she encountered the Kraang and a man named Hamato Yoshi. Unfortunately, both got captured and were taken in for experimentation. Hamato Yoshi had been the lab rat for mutagen testing, transforming into a rodent while the Kraang used the woman's blood to gain access to magic.
The Kraang had only taken Mei Phei Chi and her clutch because they were with the two humans at the time. When they realized they could combine the humans skills, the Kraang got the idea to use these turtles as soldiers and mutated the mother soon after she laid her eggs. Mei Phei Chi had more than 8 eggs in that clutch, yet only 4 were good enough for the Kraang.
Eventually, everyone escaped and the woman had used a spell to hide everyone under the sewers of New York, turning the tunnels into a labyrinth. With the threat of capture lurking, she had asked Yoshi to watch over the turtles and teach them how to disappear. The woman would remain topside and bring food and furniture underground to the Hamatos. She would also teach magic to the turtles and encouraged Mei Phei Chi to give herself a new name now that the slider was no longer a pet.
Now that the sewers were more expansive, Venus had dedicated a small room to her lost children. While she may grieve over what she could have had, Venus still very much loves the children she has now and does her best to make sure the boys feel loved.
Glad you like it!!!!!
This isn't the official timeline but boy howdy does it get the angst flowing. I've got a general idea on how Blue would act after everything's said and done. Sad cat hours for a long time for the poor lad. Doesn't get better since his relationship with Niccolo is strained after everything in this timeline. For as forgiving as Nico can be, he lost his everything. His father, his brother's, his cousins, his lab, even his shell was taken from him. While he never lashes out at Blue, Nico has a hard time NOT blaming his cousin for this entire situation.
In the meantime, Nico just helps Sanzio remember as much as he can. Shows his elder brother photos, tells him stories, even gives him his sai in the hopes that maybe the memories will come flooding back.
It's a good distraction and Orange is all for a distraction, at least until Blue is ready to look at his cousins again without retreating into his shell.
I made the grave mistake of looking up what Epic the Musical was on YouTube and now I don't know peace-
That led me to listening to Survive, a song from The Cyclops Saga by Jeorge Rivera-Herrans, here's the link on Spotify:
It's so unbelievably good that I daydreamt an entire separate timeline for the Mutant Mashup AU based on this that I lovingly refer to as, the Painful Timeline.
Like I could vividly imagine DaVinci starting the song via declaration of war against either Krang Prime (Rise Krang) or a Krang infested, Dark Armor welding super Shredder. Blue would be the one who sings the battle commands in the middle of the song. By the end, DaVinci dies with the rest of the turtles get picked off one by one, leaving Blue, Sanzio, Niccolo, and Orange left to try and fight.
If they manage to get away (Blue used his portals) I imagine Sanzio lost his memory during the altercation, just like he did during the Mutant Apocalypse in canon. Niccolo would definitely need to build a new shell for himself, as a reference to the IDW comics. Blue definitely lost his arm for very obvious reasons. Orange is the least physically hurt by the enemy (y'know, baby privileges) but he does unlock more of his mystic abilities.
The rest of the fam is up in the air but here's what I got. Lou and April live but May dies, or at the very least isn't an ally because she was engineered by the Kraang themselves to be a weapon. Casey and CJ survived, Cass didn't make it and got overrun by the Kraang.
Somehow, someway they throw Krang Prime into the prison dimension with or without the sacrifice Leo did in the movie but by then, the damage to the surface is so severe that the remaining people need to go to the Mystic City. While it IS possible for the Earth to recover, it takes a very long time.
This isn't the worst of the worse timeline but it gets angsty real quick. From Sanzio struggling to regain the person he once was, to Blue's guilt over causing this entire mess, it gets pretty sad once you think about it. That's not even mentioning Niccolo or Orange's feelings about all this, or any of the other extended Hamato family and how THEY experienced this.
Au made by me and @possumsarenice
i like a lot of things. fair warning, I have very sporadic updates. worry not, I'm not dead.
