Magic and the wonders of Flavor & Scent

Below, I have written my personal headcanons for the color, scent, and flavor for the Sanses. These are the ones I have for the x reader roommates. If you guys wanna ask for personal requests (wink wonk) then don't be afraid to ask.

I'll put it under a suggestive tag as well just in case some of you may want to avoid those. I don't outright do 18+ often, but the comfort of others is important so bam, this is a warning. Anyways, enjoy!

Vanilla: His magic is more of a light blue. It smells of frost and pine while his magic tastes of light vanilla. It's not too overpowering, especially since he doesn't use it often and he has good control of his magic

Powder: His magic is a powder blue, especially since US is more of a pastel world to me. His magic smells of spearmint while his magic tastes like blueberry and cotton candy. It has a bit of a smoother taste

Red: His magic is a dark, crisis red. It smells of burning wood while his magic tastes of cherry limeade. His magic is stronger in tastes due to his LV

Saint: His magic is a cornflower blue despite his red eyelight. His magic smells of veviter and sandalwood while his magic tastes of vanilla and apple. It has a bit of an overwhelming tastes due to his control of magic

Carmine: His magic is carmine red. His magic smells of frost and mint while his magic tastes like red raspberries. It's stronger in taste but smooth, a little overpowering

Razz: His magic is a blue-french violet. His magic smells of sugar and of something electric while his magic tastes like blackberries and dark chocolate. His magic tastes overwhelming with a smooth, strong flavor. It happens to have a tingling sensation afterwards due to the raw power he is on the brink of constantly losing

Wine: His magic is a wine red. His magic smells like pomegranate while his magic tastes like almond and wine. It is not too strong and it happens to have the smoothest in tastes since his magic is under extreme control

Dust: His magic is a slate blue violet shade. His magic smells of leather, citrus, and slightly of tobacco while his magic tastes of vanilla berry and slightly metallic. It's a bit of a tingling sensation afterwards since he has an overwhelming amount of LV. The reason for the hint of citrus is because of Pap's magic being fused with Dust's

- Optimistic nihilist

- Confident, honest, assertive, teasing, deceitful, erratic, social, cocky, careless, playful, impulsive, perceptive, self sufficient, loud, self involved, apathetic, nosy, unfiltered, and individualistic

- Often, the parasite will willingly leap to other bodies once the husk is no longer usable, fashion becoming altered by whatever AU Sans it possesses

- a fan of TMNT, he owns action figures even

- carries around gum, figurines, stickers, pins, and other random items that somehow fit inside his pockets

- can do backflips effortlessly and is highly flexible, agile

- Speaks uniquely with words like "yo broseph," "that's not very swag, broski" etc.

- He has multiple versions of bro for him to name others

- skateboards to travel around frequently, his skateboard somehow manages to summon and even be shaped differently based on the AU

- Dances commonly and overall cartoonish with his movements, he can

- Often chews on gum or has suckers to eat since he doesn't smoke

- Uses slang and hardly, if ever, curses. If he does curse, it's beyond a serious reason to believe what he has to say

- Has a giant bat as his weapon of choice, but he has stolen multiple mili weapons and even has a magical nuke of choice

- His glasses express his emotion, or just say what he's thinking/saying

- Gets in others personal space but refuses others to do the same for him. Rarely does he actually worry though, since no one wants him super close to them

- Loves to wreck havoc and does not have any attachments to others as a result

- Annoys Error for funsies, along with Red or others that

- AuDHD

- Magic smells and tastes of taffy/fruity candy

- No one can determine what he does or expect a planned attack, his erratic behavior is worse than any other AU

- Has the ability to warp his surroundings in an odd manner. Not quite a glitch but more of a colorful, chaotic way of altering his surroundings. He doesn't do it intentionally, but doesn't mind. For example, things seem to pop with intense color, things that are depressing altering to something else. Cigarettes = Suckers, Alcohol = Soda, etc

- Loves candy and has a sweet tooth, he rarely doesn't have candy in his mouth

- Travels into other AU's, but people are weirded out by him when he appears. He loves to confuse others

- Often seen as annoying, he has a tendency to not care

- He hardly ever is anything but happy, and even then he is never seen not smiling. There would have to be something wRønG to have him frowning

- Has multiple pins and jewelry, he will give you a gift he has if he likes you. It helps him identify you when he decides to travel and needs to remember what timeline of a character knows him

- Will gift people odd things, once he gave someone a Lego pack while another person was gifted a keychain

- Loves furbies to a concerning extent. He somehow got ahold of one that's conscious and carries it around with him. It's the only thing he's truly attached to

- Even if he doesn't have a lot of compassion, empathy, or sympathy, he won't involve others in his drama for the sake of "them not being able to handle his fun nature" (he actually does care for them, and just refuses to acknowledge it)

- Won't go out of his way to keep others safe often, but on occasion he has saved someone. No one can identify what the reason happens to be

- People tend to say "oh no, not him," when he appears

- He canonically can censor other people with their curse words, and in fact it's impossible to curse when he's around

- April 20th is his official bday (420 joke) but because Fresh doesn't like drugs he lies by telling others his birthday is April 1st

- Apparently has amazing Defense to the point that it's nearly impossible to kill him. Only the husk can die, since nothing can out speed the parasite. The only entity it's ever avoided is Reaper, as Reaper happens to be the only one to actually scare the parasite

- Has explosive furbies. He can activate them as if they were a detonator when thrown. When it lands on any intentional or unintentional target, it will explode into a great explosion of "murderous colors"

- Is horribly blunt, he'll say whatever is on his mind without concern. In fact, it can be absolutely the worst insult you've ever had

- He's quite affectionate. He'll hold people's hands, hug them, press foreheads, and even do a kiss now and again

- Has a lot of 80's and 90's fashion, but he just wears whatever makes him happy at the moment

- He doesn't classify himself as good or bad, as he only worries for himself. (....unless?)

- Usually watches other AU's when they're fighting, sometimes he'll fuck shit up as a result too even if it's someone he was on good terms with

- It rarely happens, but if he's angry enough his parasite will crawl out of his eye socket to wrap its tentacles around his glasses. The parasite often moves around the body, which would be around the ribs or the skull

- If he takes off his hat, usually something is underneath like a rubber duck or even a smaller hat

- Acts like he's friends with everyone, even if they absolutely disagree since he just wants a good time

- Taller than other Sanses usually so he looms over them or uses it to his advantage

- Loves to float around, either in air or in water (don't ask)

- His glasses stay on his head at all times. Always, as it's a "stamp" of his character

- Loves french fries and ketchup, though he doesn't need food often

- Usually likes 80's and 90's music but will listen to any for fun

- Adores seeing kids and spending time with them when it happens. He loves to get them to laugh, to play around

- Tom Cardy and Weird Al is his favorite artists

- Roller skates around and often customizes them

- He is one out of two individuals who knows that Ink is soulless

- Gender does not affect him, but he likes masc and gender neutral pronouns the most

- He is very in control of his emotions, he has never lost control of them. HOWEVER, there is a slim chance that if he ever fell in love or loved someone platonically, he would think that he was dying or that he was sick with something

- He's on the aroace spectrum, and there are no reports of him ever experiencing love or sexual attraction. There is a slim chance of love actually forming, romantic at least, but don't expect it to be anytime soon

- He doesn't care what people think, he would love to wear a dress or a skirt with a cute cardigan. Androgynous or masc outfits are what he likes, but he's not against wearing fem clothes

- Can he get drunk? Well, yes, but what gets him drunk isn't alcohol. He has a high metabolism, and it would have to be a specifically made magical beverage to get him wasted. In fact, alcohol, drugs, and smoking are things he avoids. He once snorted a whole ass pack of fun dip and pixie sticks. He didn't do it anymore after the incident.

Closing Notes: I won't really think about what he's like in a romantic relationship since I personally don't see it happening. If it was ever requested, I might consider it someday. I just think he'd form platonic relationships if anything. Thank you for reading :-))

- He/They/It

- Follows theism, he must fulfill his duty to the true creators

- Friends with Many AU Sanses, or at least acquainted with them

- The God of Creativity, he is the physical embodiment of motivating artists and creativity to create AU's, AT's, etc

- He has mutual hate but respect for Error

- Easily Forgetful due to his multiple trips through AU's, Timelines, etc

- Very lonely, he has mostly hollow friendships

- Dreams of other versions of him, but he can never find them

- Very touchy, he doesn't care to respect those boundaries and they even push boundaries

- Good friends with Red, somehow

- Talks to himself out of loneliness sometimes

- He envies genuine connections that others have

- Magic smells of paint, magic tastes of skittles

- Brutally honest

- AuDHD

- He likes dogs and cats, any animal really

- Loves to twirl and do tricks with his paintbrush, dances with it

- His paintbrush is extremely light to him, but heavy to others

- Accidently teleports inside Nightmare's goop once and it was fucking terrifying

- Soulless, only Fresh and Error know that he doesn't have an actual soul

- Laughs at inappropriate times, he doesn't know how to react to things sometimes

- Doesn't curse often, but will use 'shit' often

- Highly flexible and acrobatic

- Sometimes interacts with other Sanses but it's strangely off-putting and intense, he has an off putting energy

- Highly devoted to Creators and Fate, scarily loyal and worshipping towards them. He must do what they intend from him, even if that means being truly neutral

- His kindness can be sincere, but it's rare. He has manipulated others with his kindness to further please the Creators, and his kindness often is unsettling

- Incapable of dying, he is the only one that can truly face Error

- His vials are his emotions, and without them he doesn't experience anything. It is unknown how he gets those vials and how they are restocked

- He carries a pair of scissors and uses them sometimes when he's caught in Error's string

- Erratic, unsettling, playful, confident, honest, perceptive, controlling, manipulative, social, self efficient, loud, nosy, individualistic, curious, dedicated, impatient, intelligent, creative, stubborn, and theatrical

- When he drinks his vials, he tends to also have a shift in appearance despite it being subtle. His eyes go to a shade of color his vials are and his expression will shift. Small details like his body language, his form of talking, etc will change

- He grows apathetic, monotonous, and more harsh without his vials. He gets like this near others, his way of even laughing sounding empty as if a husk is mimicking him

- He aims for mistakes and encourages it for creators only because he finds it perfect. They can do no wrong, even if some things are what he dislikes

- He hates when anyone tries to disrupt an AU, often masking it with a positive attitude and forcefully stopping them even if they're dangerous

- He easily can switch between emotions, especially when drinking more than one in a certain order. For example, he can drink a blue vile and then a yellow one, helping him transition between what he feels. The reason he doesn't drink them often near others is because he likes to appear "normal"

- He aims for perfection from others and despises any creator being disrupted, often dragging the issue away. He loves creativity, but that means also disrupting something to make sure his creators are happy

- He always has something slightly off about him, despite being a wonderful actor of sorts. Even when happy, he's just- different

- He hates being called out, especially hates if they're confronted about something he's masking

- He isn't afraid to lie to get his way, it isn't capable of feeling that guilty for long

- They can only be themselves when alone or if he's deeply connected with someone; which is nearly impossible

- He can never deceive Error, even if he tries it sometimes. Error is one of the every few to openly degrade him and in turn Ink finds ways to degrade Error

- A storyteller, he knows almost everything about each AU. He often isn't shy enough to drop lore here and there, watching acutely throughout each form of the multiverse

- He was created as an "adult" so he never had a childhood, but he has a backstory. He can't remember it, but they have drawn themselves without really thinking about it

- It has no defined age, stat, hp, defense, or LV simply due to not having a soul

- They quote a lot of things since he loves obsessively watching shows, AU's, etc

- Due to his lack of fear, he's extremely risky and impulsive. He'll just laugh and jump right in

- He grows fidgety, annoyed, and impatient when things don't go at a pace he's satisfied with

- Even if he's impatient, he's hard to actually piss off. A part of it is because he's so erratic and hard to read

- Stupidly has good balance, it's overall just weird how well he has the balance he has

- Paints and sketches regularly, no form of art is favored over the other

- Often seen with the same outfit, but he loves changing it up at times

- Loves to be in small spaces when needing comfort, often shifting his body in ways to fit inside because it doesn't remind him of the void - where nothing is present

- Hates empty spaces and lacks of creativity

- He's only motivated for what's right for the AU's or himself

- Can be extremely selfish and childish, but often his goals align with "good." He has helped the Bad Guys occasionally though

- It's hard for him to feel pain, since his pain receptors are all fucked up. He can be heavily injured and not realize it or even feel it unless he's worn out and loses/losing a battle against another "God"

- It's hard for him to hate someone, but he can heavily dislike them. If he chose who to hate the most, it would definitely be Error

- He has been childish in worse ways than possible, often helping creators make new AU's despite the cramped space. Sure, the multiverse is beyond humongous, but it only can handle so much before colliding other worlds together and even destroying those worlds. He and Error have overlapping goals, and only rarely will they work together since they're such opposite skeletons

- He loves to mock and mess with Error the most, especially when they battle despite neither one being able to die. Ink can get just as cocky as Error, and in fact loves to provoke Error

- Their vials can only do so much, as they can only temporarily fill in space for an emotion that one with a soul has. It can form in the shape of what's meant to be a soul in the color of the vial, but it's never permanent

- He'll often stare at others for long periods of time, usually in an obvious manner as he looks at them and their soul. He doesn't feel the need to blink, so it can be unsettling

- When his vials give him the illusion of having a soul, he will often cradle it and stare at it for long periods of time

- He never can run out of liquid inside of his vials, but they can break and this leaves him without that emotion until he fixes it through a long process

- He is willing to experience any emotion, as he just wants to feel it. He can optionally not have any at all, but it's rare he chooses that

- Narcotics do not affect him in any way

- Has an obsessed curiosity for humans, who he knows are capable of creating worlds. It's only the authors, the artists, he actively obsesses over

- Does not view creators or players as 'simply' human, but rather beyond gods themselves

- Adores having marker or paint on him

- Has a Doodle Sphere where time is slowed down and no one can reach him

- It struggles trying to find ways social skills work, especially since each universe has it's own standards

- Steals food and other trinkets from universes even if he has no need to eat

- Occasionally speaks French or Latin

- Does not understand gender roles, but they will wear more masculine and androgynous outfits with the occasional fem

- On the aroace spectrum, especially since being a God means that other things are too important

- STRUGGLES reading and writing

Closing Notes: He's so-.....GUAH. I actually didn't care much for them growing up, but I think that they're an interesting character deserving of exploration

Enjoy below! I decided to do the main set of brothers and Dust too! Maybe even a special set of guest since I think of them from time to time,,,

Vanilla: He likes clothing with a lot of layers, more bagginess, and clothes that prioritize comfort. He's not very stylish but he's gotten a hold of some clothes that help him get more in touch with what's "fashionable." He's not someone who likes a tight fit, usually directed towards casual wear, and he's often seen wearing shades of blue, grey, or white

Cyperus: The more expressive the style, the better. He's not one to shy away from color, and he prefers really anything he finds cool. He can be seen with his red scarf of course, and with that he's given a lot to work with! Sure, it can be far from fancy, but he likes it whether it's super simple or super "everywhere!" As long as he likes it, it's perfect for his artsy fashion tastes

Powder: He has a bit of style thanks to being older and being able to have others in the house help him with fashion. He likes a good business casual, something that he can look good in and feel good in. Sporty street wear is also a style he loves and he'll often be seen wearing blues, blacks, white, and even sometimes orange

Stretch: He likes casual street wear that has layers and brighter colors. Hes expressive with androgynous clothing, 70's and 90's fashion, and anything with oranges or yellows. He likes comfort, but he's a little more aware of his tastes and he's not afraid to get dressed up as long as it's not a super tight fit.

Red: Any alt style fits him best since I think styles like emo, punk, or grunge all suit him. Overall it depends on the day and style of clothing he's willing to put on! Most of the time, he's too lazy, so grunge is an expressive style that he doesn't have to be uncomfortable in! Layers are a definite comfort and he can vary from wearing reds, blacks, and even purple

Pitch: He's one of the most style conscious skeletons in the household, so you'll see him sometimes fluctuate between styles. It's always something elegant or more straight and defined. Reds are his favorite to dress up in, but he's open to anything with darker colors or cooler themes. Formal wear and classic wear is his favorite exploration, but he can be coaxed to wear something bold and different if he likes it.

Saint: He's always about comfort, simplicity, and the occasional color that differs from bright and bold. He will go for casual fits, grunge occasionally, and even just clothes too big for him. He's not hard to please for a good shirt and pair of pants, and he will usually add layers for comfort and extra protection. He will usually also wear long sleeves, but he just doesn't pay too much attention about how it's a habit for him

Lunar: He really likes vintage style clothing and like Cyperus, he also enjoys artsy styles that help with forms of expression. He's cheap and good at finding clothes at thrift stores, always willing to sew it up or combine comfort with style. Androgynous clothing in shades of pretty reds, browns, and whites are also something he's fond of as long as it can fit with his scarf

Carmine: Lets talk about business styles and how he can range from casual to form fitting. He likes it sleek, fashionable, humble, yet occasionally bold. He's just as fashion conscious about his looks in the same way Pitch is, which means the two share similar styles. Unlike Pitch, however, he wears more gold and his clothes usually are paired with little to no accessories in comparison. He's a skeleton all about appearance, and that means he has to always either fit right in or stand out as someone who's more collected and confident

Rus: Androgyny to him is what best defines him other than grunge or biker clothing. He's not afraid to stand out for wearing tears, shirts, strapped tops, etc. He really loves exploring clothes that are prominently orange and red, but he's not against the occasional purple. He likes it layered, tight, loose, simple, complex, etc as long as it's not too bright and overstimulating. He wants to look cool, and he will accomplish that whether that means going thrift shopping for clothes or getting Carmine to indulge him with extra cash he can work to earn later

Razz: He will always wear more business, formal clothes with a lot of accessories. He wears golds, blacks, purples, and he really likes that he's able to spend good money on deals that leave his wardrobe fancy. He's also willing to put on more of a pop to his fashion unlike Cash, even if that means drawing in unwanted attention. He doesn't mind though, he will always flex his attire when he can tell someone is just staring at him which causes his ego to grow and makes him preen at the attention

Cash: Casual street wear is his every day style but he's not afraid to admit how simple he likes something or how he's able to go in public without causing too many eyes on him. Unlike Rus, he leans less on the idea of wearing skirts often and he also has more purples, greens, and oranges in his style. Really, 90's style also influences him, especially since he can find good deals at thrift stores this way. He picks clothes that he knows will draw a bit more attention than the average monsters, but he overall likes what he likes and if that also means wearing meme shirts then so be it

Wine: Fancy business, formal, military, or academic style clothing is very important to him. He makes sure to always be dressed in fancy attire that's tight, direct, and perfectly expensive enough to let him flex since he has so much money dedicated just for clothes. He rarely wears the same thing twice and he's sure as hell not going to change that.

Coffee: Layers of comfortable fabric is what he likes to wear a lot since he's rarely ever willing to change out of his favorite hoodie. However, Wine loves to dress him in academic clothing or elegant types of formal wear. He wears the most browns on his outfit to feel less overstimulated too, unless the occasional orange or yellow sparks his interest. Interestingly, he also tends to wear the most minimalist style of clothing and he chose this on purpose to let Wine piece together outfits that don't feel overwhelming to him with all their patterns, textures, etc

Dust: He for a long time refused to change his hoodie or scarf out until way later. He still wears his scarf, but he's more willing to wear more casual, minimalist clothing with more dulled colors or grunge since Red got him to grow into liking the style. He finds ways to hide his face still but I already headcanon that his face becomes more and more visible as time moves on so outfits with hats are a pleasant thing for him. He doesn't pick specific styles or colors unlike some of the others, but hes okay with that. As long as he can dress up well and hide most of his face, crap you could even get him to dress in formal wear

Cupid: Tight fitting clothes in glamorous, elegant outfits is what he lives for. He's the most style conscious person and he will always dress to impress. The only time he's not wearing something that pops with color and fancy, sleek fashion is when he's having an off day or if he needs new clothes since he rarely wears the exact same outfit twice. He loves accessories and he will definitely aim for pink colors

Desi: Desi likes elegant, romantic, and more feminine outfits overall that pop with pink and wealth. He isn't afraid to wear comfy clothing, but he always needs to look good even when relaxing in his opinion. He has accessories of his own, and he likes any clothes that have a cute look to them. He won't go thrift shopping, but he's been given some of his favorite clothes from Lunar since he sometimes will receive such gifts.

Oh this is a fun one! Other than a stereotypical day at the beach(beach episoddde!) I can totally see how they'd spend their day on a particularly good summer day! Also, this will be placed as if these guys all lived together and would be able to enjoy their pool!

Vanilla: If he's convinced to go in the water, he'd have a lovely time laying in a donut float and taking a nap or enjoying the sun with a pair of funky blue shades his brother got for him! Others would be in the pool too, but he would work more like an obstacle rather than a participant as he somehow never gets pulled underwater. He may experience getting splashed though, but he wouldn't mind. When the fight occurred, he simply teleported out and sat with Carmine and Wine

Cyperus and Powder: Both are definitely in the pool practicing their wonderful swimming skills, duh! The two would race back and forth or if they decided that the others got too rough, they'd work as little lift coaches to avoid any "rough" play. They at first monitored it just fine, but it quickly escalated

Carmine and Wine: Typically these skeletons can be seen outside in the summer heat dressed in funky but fashionable loose button up, tank tops, and shorts as they "get a nice sun tan." They would have this paired with nice black shades as they lounge in the beach chairs together judging the rest with light gossip. When the fight broke out Wine said with a smile: "how dreadful." While Carmine lightly sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose witnessing Rus participate

Stretch, Rus, and Cash: These three are the reason that Powder and Cyperus have to monitor the pools to begin with. It'd start simple really, just some light relaxation as they all are swimming in the pool. It wasn't even these three that started the pool fight, but they sure as hell escalated it as poor Stretch tried desperately to escape the tidal waves of getting eliminated. Cash was the one to escalate the fight, and Rus just decided to follow along

Red and Razz: These two. These diabolical two. They just had to argue really while they were in the pool. Red was making fun of Razz for taking his time getting in the pool because he may have a minor fear of drowning. It's logical is all! He read about how humans drown in pools when he saw that everyone wanted to hang out. As Red was making fun of him and the two were arguing, it was Cash that wanted to defend his brother as he splashed him. By the end of it, not even the two noble skeletons Powder and Cyperus could stop the war.

Coffee: The guy has never learned how to swim, so he didn't even get in the water. However, before the fight occurred he was along the sides with his legs in the water thanks to Vanilla coaxing him to at least get adjusted to the water and enjoy it a little instead of sitting out. Rus had even swam over and offered to hold his hand when getting in the water! Cash ruined it though when he joked about pulling him under and thus having Coffee run off with Saint out of fear

Saint: He wanted to get in the water, but Powder warned how he could easily get water in his skull. He did get in for a little bit, but Red splashed him and caused a negative reaction where he froze before grabbing a laughing Red and dragging him under. He wasn't trying to drown him! Just prove a point is all. Still, Cyperus lifted him while Powder helped Red back up before he was sent out of the pool. Later, Coffee joined him as the two watched the fight play out. It was secretly the first time he voted for Razz to kick Red's ass

Pitch and Lunar: The two are weary about just almost anything, so they wouldn't get in the pool. The two have their own reasons, but collectively they both agreed that all the swimming and stuff could make them hungry. Lunar would be the one to make lemonade as Pitch made sandwiches! The two would be able to bond as they share a rare, but nice afternoon. It was the two leaving the kitchen and shouting loud enough that actually got everyone to stop fighting for a light lunch break.(Pitch shouted first but Lunar's terrifying yell actually got them to truly stop.) Pitch grabbed Red like a troubled kitten and dragged him out while everyone else got out normally as he scolded him(⁠-⁠_⁠-⁠;⁠)
