The most “boys will be boys” things the gang do

• Steve, Soda, Dally, and Darry stay walking around half naked, ESPECIALLY in the summer. Their shirts are never on. Soda’s jeans are unzipped half the time smh

• as much as they really really try, the Curtis boys are known for leaving their dirty laundry everywhere 😟 no matter how messy they can be though, Two-Bit’s room will always be exponentially worse

• one time Steve and Soda wanted to see who could eat the most chocolate cake so they each ate a whole half of a cake and threw up later

• Johnny do not be washing his clothes 😭😭😭 it’s rly not his fault but Darry will offer to wash up some of his stuff with Ponyboy’s and Johnny will be like “no thank you it’s not that bad 🙂” bros jean jacket probably carries the plague

• they literally don’t stop eating. It’s canon that the Curtis brothers all have big appetites, everyone else is just as bad. Most of their money goes to groceries bc they literally just eat and eat

• Ponyboy tries to lay in bed directly after track practice before showering bc he’s tired and Sodapop is appalled

• so so so many wrestling and football injuries. Pony’s always tripping and falling face first. Steve is a fucking pincher when they’re wrestling so Soda and Two-Bit always have little ass bruises on them from him 💀 during football Johnny is really good at slipping between people bc he can be pretty quick but one time he managed to take Steve down with him and they knocked their heads together

• Dally unfortunately enjoys driving around and yelling obscenities when he has Buck’s car. No one is off limits. He’ll trail behind Johnny and be like “ay what that mouth do” and Johnny just lets out the most defeated sigh

• Ponyboy and Curly were each other’s first kiss “for practice” and didn’t rly think much of it until they realized they’d only been kissing each other even tho they didn’t need practice anymore and never tried to get w anyone else 😭😭😭

• if Two-Bit sees any kind of animal worth catching in his mind like an armadillo or some shit he will indeed try to catch it and bring it to the Curtis house and Darry is just like if you don’t get that damn armadillo off my porch

Sometimes, if he doesn't get enough sleep or he gets too stressed, Pony sees Johnny and Dally.

Like, he barely slept the night before, the nightmares keeping him up most of the night. He's sitting there at the table, working on his homework, and he's stuck on this one problem. And he groans, banging his head on the table in frustration, and suddenly he hears "Don't do that, don't hurt yourself" and when he looks up, Johnny Cade is sitting across from his, his brows furrowed in concern as he watches Pony.

And Pony wants to scream, because Johnny is dead, but Johnny obviously isn't dead because he's right in front of Pony. And so instead of screaming, he just asks "where'd you go?"

And Johnny just smiled and shook his head, refusing to tell. And when Pony looked down at his paper to ask for help, Johnny was gone by the time his eyes drifted up again.

And one day, he's super overwhelmed because he's falling behind in English again and he has track right after school and some socs were giving him dirty looks and he just takes a break in the school bathroom, and then he hears "odd place to rest, don'cha think?" and he sees Dally is leaning against the sink, a cigarette between his lips as he looks down at Pony.

"What are you doing here?" Pony asks dumbly, and Dally just huffs, muttering about how kids these days have no real manners and a hello would be nice and he's in this disgusting school bathroom because he saw Pony run in and he can't even bother to say hi? And Pony can't help but grin at Dally's complaints, because despite everything, Dal is still just a kid.

He pulls out his own cigarette, preparing to ask for a light, but when he turns back, Dally's gone, and he remembers that he's been gone, and he'll stay gone, because he died that night.

But he still sees them when he's sleep deprived or too overwhelmed. And when it gets especially bad, he sees Bob and Johnny arguing in the distance. And he runs to them, but by the time he reaches where they were just moments before, they're gone, with no sign they were ever there.

And Pony doesn't tell anyone, so he ends up seeing his dead best friends for months, and each time he remembers he's just seeing things because they're dead, he breaks a little inside all over again

A lot of Eevee merch is coming to Pokemon Centers this year, from re-releasing old PokeDolls (which are on the site right now except for Flareon) to announcing a new series of Eevolutions figures. The Boa plushies recently announced in Japan are also coming over, at least according to the UK newsletter, but they'll probably come to the US too.

(Imagine if we get another Eeveelution finally with ZA with the new merchandising focus. We did get our last one in Kalos after all. I doubt it, but it's fun to think about. I always wanted a steel type Eevee.)

Socs are kittypets - live in houses with two-legs, don't live in gangs but will often roam in groups

Middle class (Not that important just mentioning for clarity) are clan cats - live in large groups in the countryside, usually don't interact with kittypets or rouges

The main story is basically the same lol. Just something I came up with during art :3
