Can teenage shifters please acknowledge the hypocrisy of them shifting to a reality where they're a married 30-something with kids one day, then to another reality where they're still 16 & dating another 16 yr old the next, only to complain about their maturity being affected when they return to this reality.... AND in the same breathe call shifters who are adults in this reality "predatory" for shifting to be and date highschoolers?
How can you say an adult ever shifting to be a teen again and date another teen is "predatory", but you reality hoping from adult-body livin' an adult life to teen-body livin' a teen-life is perfectly okay?
Seeing minors say "why are y'all hating on minors who script in sex? Teens get horny too🫤" is so fucking funny because if you can hoe-it-up for your 50 year old sugar daddy in one reality AND your 16 year old highschool sweetheart in another, then why do you get so mad if an adult shifter wants to be young and experience young love again😭💀⁉️
"It's disgusting for an adult to share details about their teenage love in their dr" AND SO IS MINORS TALKING ABOUT ANY ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH AN ADULT IN THEIR DR THAT INSINUATES THEM HAVING SEX, BUT YOU SEEM TO HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT💀‼️
"Even if they're a teen in their DR, if they have a teenage love interest, that means that in this reality, they're attracted to minors🤢", you don't seem to apply that logic to instances where you shift immediately from your adult avengers dr to a hogwarts dr now do you🤨?
Istg, 9 times out of 10, the NSFW idea videos on shifttok are made by minors too but no one seems to gaf about that😭
My point being, teenage shifters are the biggest hypocrites in the community. The bias you have towards yourselves is insane. Everytime I see a bitch say "Take breaks from shifting!! Don't rush :) ", I can't help but think about the fact that underneath the encouragement, you're belief that minor-aged shifters can shift to be any age implies the need to pressurize yourself to shift before you're an adult in this reality, otherwise experiencing young love will become nothing but a "pedophilic" fantasy in the eyes of the wider community💀
The act of shifting isn't crazy. It's the fact that I'm a whole new place is crazy.
The act of shifting ain't nothing. Its AFTER the act of shifting that's something.
Shifting itself is nothing.
make dr playlists: this is genuinely so much fun. it helps a lot with setting the mood & you could listen to it when unmotivated.
spice up your affirmations: for example, instead of saying basic affs ("i am in my dr") you could be more deilusional & rant like if you were actually there, or highlight things about your dr to motivate you. e.g: "i am in my harry potter dr and omg why did i thought this was a good idea my butt is BURNING from all the walking... hogwarts is TOO fkn big, yesterday fred almost casually blew up a hallway n i had to run for my life. this is a call 4 help..." (directly copied and pasted from my friend's notion ☝️☝️). you can even create stories and use them as affirmations
create a shifting journal: TOP TIER TIPS. there you can write entries as if you were in your dr - not only it helps with visualizing and manifesting but also you can write down everytime you try, things you liked and disliked & symptoms you had to help you understand what works for you
pinterest wardrobe boards: self explanatory. this can also be made with your dr aesthetic in general
change methods weekly/monthly & try fun methods: in my opinion, the most fun methods are the lucid dream method, adhd method, and void state method, but that's up to you
bonus: try to shift during full moon. not because it increases your posibilities to shift (it does NOT, the moon phase has nothing to do with shifting unless you assume it does ofc) but because it's super cool as a concept, like "today's full moon so i can go to a paralel reality"?? IDK it just gives main character energy. i love shifting when it's full moon

Amity Park has a local superhero.
He's great. He works hard to protect his town. That said, Amity's local hero is a teenager. The people he relies on to help and support him are teenagers. The town's superhero defense is a handful of kids figuring things out on their own.
They do good, but sometimes the people of Amity have to be prepared to lend a hand or hold their own for a bit. That's just how life is under these ceach other. Communities come together and support each other. It's fine. People adapt. Life goes on. They're really doing quite well.
A class from Amity Park visits a museum in Gotham on a field trip. They get caught in an unfortunately timed Scarecrow attack.
Scarecrow should have known better than to activate the fight or flight responses of a group of Amity Parkers.
The gas canister drops and discharges. The field trip group explodes into action.
A pair of Football players quickly overturns a table and use it as a shield as they charge the goons with the most firepower. Cheerleaders toss each other into the air for aerial attacks. Nerds turn objects from a nearby Janitor closet into a surprisingly effective trebuchet with astounding speed. One girl utilizes impressive martial arts skills.
A boy with Black hair and blue eyes flits about the battlefield pilfering and disassembling weapons with a shocking degree of efficiency as a Goth girl follows him around and bludgeon anyone who attempts to make a grab for him with a stand that had been holding up a rope barrier, and a boy in a beret lays down cover fire by launching pencils out of a makeshift bow formed from a binder and rubber bands with a startling degree of accuracy.
The teacher flits around pulling kids out of the path of attacks they hadn't seen, stowing any injured behind cover, and giving foes solid thwack on the noggin when the opportunity arises. He actually ends up knocking out Scarecrow himself.
The statement "We're not trapped in here with you. You're trapped in here with us," is repeated several times by different people.
When the Bats or police arrive, they have to carefully pull the feildtrip group off of the unfortunate rogues.
It takes a while to get the antidotes administered, but they do eventually manage. The class remains in defensive formation the whole time.
When the kids finally calm down enough to give statements, they mostly just say that Scarecrow gets what he gets for deliberately activating Amity Parkers' fight or flight responses. After the antidotes take effect, the class seems unfazed and goes about their business as soon as the authorities allow.
Some other visitors to the museum upload videos of the event online with titles like "the one class that was prepared for a field trip to Gotham" and "What kind of place is Amity Park, and why haven't I heard of it before?"
It doesn't take long for people to edit the videos to set the fight to music. Popular song choices include Ballroom Blitz, Bring 'em Out by Hawk Nelson, and the "we like to party" song from the six flags commercial.
Now the Bats are investigating Amity Park (and why they haven't heard of it before).
the first two photos were later sold to a local newspaper and the last one was posted on dick grayson’s instagram with the caption “opps want to see me fall 💪🏋️♂️”
One thing that’s hilarious to me regarding DP fic crossovers with other superhero media is, while we joke that Danny is sorta OP in canon, he’s extremely OP in comparison to other heroes. His power set is just perfectly matched by his antagonists (ghosts) and thus is any situation outside of ghosts he’s ridiculously powerful.
Imagine a hero that can attack enemies and then phase through any return hits. Who has superhuman healing even when he’s hit. Who can be invisible and completely undetectable to people, technology etc for recon purposes. Who can overshadow anyone and make them do as he pleases. Ghost powers, especially stable and strong powers like Danny’s, would be an immense boon to whatever hero or villain got ahold of him. He could change the outcome of any battle.
And yet the fact that he’s a) 14 and stupid b) stuck for the most part in Amity and c) his rogues consists of other ghosts who can counter his insane power set means that Danny doesn’t really get how scary his powers would be to the outside hero community.
i always love when people are surprised that not only is the danny phantom phandom still around, but we're extremely active and are ranked in the top 15 most popular fandoms on this site.
like yes while we haven't gotten any new content in the better part of two decades, we still have an active year-round events calendar, we highly encourage and engage in crossovers with other media, we have phandom accepted non-canon characters with backstories, we've developed various opposite-of-canon AU's and HC's like the corpse au or the dual obsession au and have created almost entire ecosystems of content in these niches, we've delved into the physics and science of many of the canon materials, we value writing just as much as we value art, we're open to debate and friendly banter about different canon/phanon ideas, we've fully fleshed out various "hinted at" canon ideas like cores and given them "rules" that are widely accepted among phanon, etc etc.
at this point we've just fully embraced death of the author. like cool, thank you nickelodeon for giving us this world, we're just gonna take it and do our own thing with it for the next, say, 17 or so years. we'll get back to you in a few decades with some notes. u can take it or leave it, we don't really care. you know where to find us ✌️
me scripting be like
"my personality is the same as in my cr, but without my social anxiety and shyness and awkwardness and autism and"
I think there should be more Dead Serious content about how horrified the batfam would be that Damian specifically is being courted by a literal extradimensional death god. On one hand, a potentially world-ending creature is hanging around their baby brother. That’s pretty bad.
On the other, the murder child is dragging around a superpowered, highly protective Lazarus monster that will do basically anything to make him happy. Quite literally the nightmare scenario. Tim declares that he’s moving to Metropolis.
once you realise that fandoms are shaped by white fans and a lot of these fans hold very conservative and reactionary views when it comes to their personal relationship to things all the while professing they’re the fourth wave of feminism or whatever, you stop caring about what any of these people think and you find peace
