I’ve been watching Danny Phantom and I get it. I get it now.
This show loves to make some offhanded comment, not a hint of consideration or concern in its tone, and just moves on without addressing it like that wasn’t the most creatively horrific concept this side of Nickelodeon. Shit makes up wackass lore on the spot and then disregards it immediately after, asks fascinating questions then looks at you funny when you try to answer them.
I now fully understand how this show has legions of fans dedicated to taking this somewhat mid cartoon and running so far with the implications of the premise they created an entirely different show that’s so much more interesting I’m upset it’s not real.
“my child is fine” your child shifts realities to live in and experience supposedly fictional worlds with better parents in them

“i can’t shift. what should i do about it?”
you just admitted that you cannot shift, then asked how you can shift. those are two conflicting statements. if you don’t know how to shift — your body & what works / doesn’t work for you — how is somebody else, a stranger, supposed to know that ? you know yourself best. you are the only one who can help yourself.

“i’ve been trying to shift & no method or routine works for me.”
this all boils down to something & that is the reliance on other people to tell you how to shift. i can give you everything that helps me; my books, my affirmations, my subliminals but at the end of the day that’s what helps me. information, that i have found through trial & error. everyone is different & not everything will help everyone. this is why not getting your heart set on one method or one way to do something is essential.

during the peak of misinformation on shiftok, I don’t believe a lot of the misinformation was actual misinformation. people asked how to shift & people told them how they shifted & somewhere along they got misconstrued as a “how to” guide. if something helps you or doesn’t , it’s not misinformation. it’s a different way of doing things. think like doing math, there’s multiple ways to find the answer. people with learning disabilities (like myself) sometimes have to go the extra mile to have things make sense in our minds because not every mind is the same.
things take time, especially to perfect a craft. if you’re someone who draws or paints, you have to know the techniques & where to shade & where light hits the subject at certain points. if you’re someone who works out, you have to use certain equipment maybe or get into a habit of going to the gym. both of those take time & discipline. you don’t just pick up a pencil once & become one of the greats or walk on the treadmill for two minutes & instantly meet your desired result. it’s a routine.
no, you don’t have to have a routine but it’s beneficial. it can help hey you into a mindset, it can aid in your self confidence. if you’re confident, you will perform better. it gets you into a habit of something & making a habit out of something is the first step in being intentional & getting your mind & body into a mindset.

This question has come up a lot so I decided to make a post about it :)
how i reprogrammed my mind within 6 days / shifted 4-5 times within 6 days

DISCLAIMER!!
what worked for me is not 100% gonna work for you, don’t expect it to then blame me. thank you!
js = just, are the same. i js use them interchangeably
i took a step back from shifting for a second ( though it was only an hour long break ) i sat with my thoughts and realized my doubts were very likely the problem.
how i discovered my thoughts were the problem
everytime i didn’t shift id get frustrated and everything like that, id be envious of the person who shifted before me and get frustrated. but also id try to jam pack my mind with unnecessary and meaningless information that was of zero help to me on shiftok.
i switched over shiftblr and that’s how i came to the conclusion my mindset was the problem.
what i did consistently for the next 6 days
all i truly did is sit down and think about life, i read a couple of blogs ( ill link the ones that helped me near the end ) and just kept affirming i DID and COULD shift. ive shifted 3 times before this, so affirming i could shift was simple but believing it was the biggest issue. so from day one, i just started acting like i was the shit, bc i was, i js needed to realize it. simple as that

1- telling Chiron to "stay gold, Ponyboy"
2- belting the chorus of "sweet home Alabama" every time I see a couple in the camp
3- making your mom jokes to Athena and Aphrodite kids
4- randomly spraying Percy with a squirt gun to check if he's really water resistant, even when he's not expecting to be in contact with water
5- approaching random campers and reminding them who their half-siblings are (ex: "yo, Nico, did you know you're related to Hitler?)
6- hiding a noise machine in the Hermes cabin and playing the star Wars scene "Luke, I am your father" every time he eneters/ making it play Hamilton at all hours of the night, so we can fall asleep to the sound of our father's voice
7- telling kids to "read between the lines", knowing full well they can't even read the lines themselves
8- convincing the younger, more gullible Demeter kids to grow weed
9- bribing the Hephaestus kids into making me a gun that shoots celestial bronze bullets, because there is no way in Hades that I am about to go after monsters just wielding some pointy sticks
10- sneaking into the Hera cabin to sleep, because what do you MEAN I, a claimed daughter of Hermes, don't get a bed in my own daddy's house? Yeah, no, I'm staying over at grandma's, the goddess of motherhood. Smite me.
I think it would be fun to go online shopping for your DR. Don't actually spend the money, but visualize that you are shopping in your dr!
This is especially good if you script you have unlimited money!! 😀

Being an older sister is hard—raising a fourteen-year-old is harder.
SUMMARY OF ALL THE LOA POSTS I EVER READ.
This is gonna be really vague 😭
1.) you can manifest anything and everything you want.
2.) there are no rules or things to do to manifest unless you assume it.
3.) you manifest/manifested anything you assume.
4.) just keep persisting until it materializes.

shifting exercise
someone probably already came up with something like this + sorry but sometimes i hear something and totally forget about it so i think i came up with it, so if you know someone already made this let me know and i’ll credit them!

the goal is to make your mind used to shifting and let it sink that you can do it.
what you’re gonna do is make simple actions, but you’re gonna put your shifting intention beforehand.
example: you take a glass of water and say “i’m gonna shift into a reality where I drink this glass of water” and then you’re gonna drink it.
this will make your mind acknowledge that shifting is easy and it’s just an intention like everything else. simply an action that you decide to do.
this is so easy so i highly suggest you try this, it takes nothing and i think it will help so much (of course you’re free to not do this lmao, this was just my advice).
nea’s method. how i shift.
hello. i’ll be doing something different tonight, something that made me shift in the past. this worked for me so it might not work for you, but you already know this.
i decided on another reality to shift to only for this night because i’ve seen that getting too attached to a dr is only gonna take me back sometimes and make it forced. in the past i shifted to spiderman, fantasy dr and hotel transylvania with this method, so why not try it again?
basically, i just choose a reality to shift to, one that i’m not too attached to but still am interested to visit, could be even one that you’re “creating” at the moment. i don’t care if i have a script or not, actually for this new dr i haven’t made a script (just wanna go raw lol).
what i do afterwards is do my usual routine that doesn’t necessarily be about shifting, so i could just shower, eat well, and do breathing exercises. then, before going to sleep, i put on an asmr or ambience that reminds me of the reality i’m shifting to. and finally i would just fall asleep to that, so that it’s the last thing my mind thought about before sleeping, something similar to SATs, but not quite.
you can also visualise and do affirmations, but i shifted doing nothing and just watching the video, so i really just have to fall asleep to it as i used this only as a sleep method, idk if it would work as an awake method too (i mean of course it could work, it all depends on your assumptions).
-
about my new desired reality, if you’re ever curious, i got the inspiration from an asmr that i’m watching lately. it was very interesting to me because i usually only like older ambiences and realities, or even just present, but future? what even is that. so i was like, you know what, imma try it. i am a limitless being who can shift anywhere so why not try everything? so that’s what i’m doing tonight. no script, no idea where i’m going exactly, but i’m excited that’s what i can say for sure.
Notice with how all success stories they all just had accepted it was done in imagination and gave up completely on trying to change the 3d and just became the person who had it/changed themselves? That’s all you have to do.
Despite everything, it's still you
despite everything, it’s still you—?
discourse about batman's no-kill rule is so funny. imagine if a dude was like "i personally will not commit any murders and if any of my kids do i will be unhappy" and everyone booed him
cringe has no place in shifting.
do flowers grow/die beneath my feet depending on my emotions? YEAH! I THINK ITS NEAT!!
am i super overpowered with no balancing weaknesses? no i have balancing weaknesses bc i think its more fun that way but if you dont more power to you! literally!!
do i constantly script myself as mysterious and nonchalant? UH YEAH WHO DOESNT WANT TO BE COOL??
do i script myself completely taller than i am in my dr? yeah im really fucking short. (cr: 5'1 and dr: 6'1)
do what you want!! who tf cares abt this reality's sociatal standards
if yall were as persistent about your own journey as you are about policing other people and their journeys, yall would have shifted by now.
guys pls pls pls
i genuinely need people to realise that when they shift they will be the person they scripted.
when you shift you will live out those experiences and they will shape you out to be the person you are in that reality. that person is actually you
there’s nothing inherently wrong with scripting you had a specific sort of life that’s nothing like your own now. big or small chances idc but istg sm shifters make ocs instead of an actual person
but for a second think about it. is that smth you actually, genuinely, whole heartedly want for urself?
ur drself ≠ an oc
decided to edit this and add some more
why do some people talk about their drselves like it’s someone else and why do some people post stuff about them like they’re a character😭 like pookie that’s you😃😄😃 you know that right?
maybe it helps people figure out stuff ig? idk but i always talk about me like im talking about me? IDK if ur the kinds person who does this pls explain☹️ i would like a more rounded view on things pls and thxs
Howdy 👋
I just wanted to share my experience with shifting. It's something that I feel could motivate others that are questioning if shifting is real/haven't shifted yet!
When I was sixteen, I shifted! It was not on a night that I did any kind of method, I just put on some general ambiance noises from my DR (mostly just to relax, not even with the intention of shifting) and I ended up waking up in my DR.
No method, no symptoms, no affirmations.
Just a soundboard app that I had some fun with creating what I might hear when I wake up in my DR. (The app is called Lonofi, if anyone's interested)
I woke up in my DR and checked the time. I didn't even realize that I had done the very thing I'd spent a year trying to accomplish. It felt completely normal. My hand looked like my hand, even if it was completely different from what it looks like in my CR. And I remember thinking to myself:
"Oh, I woke up early. I could go back to sleep and still wake up in time for docking shift." (In my DR, I'm a mechanic on a space ship, and it was one of my jobs to help 'clear' the cargo bay to ensure that everything was working properly to safely dock with another ship. Space is scary, y'all)
I then rolled over in my bed and WENT BACK TO SLEEP. I woke up in my CR, just as my alarm was going off. It all felt so normal that I didn't even realize I had shifted.
I had always been there, and so there was no surprise when I woke up on a spaceship in deep outer space. I can not say this enough. It was so real and so normal that I didn't even think once about it until I woke up in my CR. (I've never been so upset with myself for trying to sneak another hour of sleep in, lol)
I remember how everything felt. It was so real that I can hardly even believe it even though I experienced it first hand.
I called it 'mini shifting' for a while after that because I'd been led to believe by popular 'shifttokers' that it wasn't really the real deal. But it was!
I just wanted to tell people how real shifting is. And how normal it is. There's nothing difficult about it, and if you just allow yourself to shift, you will.
(Which I know sounds just as hard as any other method that you've heard a thousand times over, but the point still stands)
Shifting is so real. And so natural. It's not magic. There's no spell that you can chant or tea that you can drink that will be better than the limitless mind you have knocking around between your ears.
-🚀🔧
THIS IS SO COOL!! thanks for sharing anon!
with the way some people talk about shifting… idk maybe they should just consider roleplaying instead
sigh i had an epiphany
book 4 is just a whole ass scooby doo episode huh
In no particular order.
-No one says the word “wish.” It’s practically a curse.
-Superstition is more common. Throw spilled salt over your shoulder. Don’t walk into a circle of mushrooms. Be extra careful on Friday the 13th. (Ghosts turned out to be real, so what else could be?)
-Halloween is chaos.
-Being awake at night isn’t seen as unusual. Being out and about after dark is risky. Wandering alone between the hours of 12-4 AM is asking for trouble.
-Horror movies? More like comedy movies.
-Same with ”paranormal investigation” shows.
-Crime rate is practically nonexistent.
-Everybody is close-knit.
-The Fenton family is a common topic for gossip. Everyone knows them, and they’re weird, even by Amity Park’s standards.
-People might have mixed feelings about the Fentons or the Red Huntress, but literally no one likes the GIW.
-Amity Park, on a physical level, is weird. The whole town is a liminal space. The ghost and mortal realms can bleed together. Time and space aren’t always 100% certain.
-People are more sensitive to the paranormal. (They know how to tell the difference between a cold breeze and a ghostly chill, at least.)
-People know to tread carefully (politely) in places that are likely to be haunted. (Abandoned places, certain parts of the woods, etc.)
-Graveyards are given extra care and respect.
-Some common protocols for ghost attacks:
Public places like schools and office buildings have specific alarms for ghosts, like fire alarms.
They either evacuate (see: run for their lives), or turn on a ghost shield. (Some places may shield the entire building, or have a designated shelter area that everyone’s supposed to run to.)
If you can’t run or get behind a shield, find somewhere to hide and stay as still and silent as you can. If (when) the ghost finds you, scream as loud as you can so Phantom can hear you. If you have an anti-ghost weapon, use it.
“Wait for Phantom to take care of it” is usually what ends up happening. The ghost hunters might show up as well, but Phantom is there for almost every single attack. (Let’s be honest people just like him more and he does all the work around here anyway.)
-It’s common for people to carry weapons like small ecto-guns and mini shields on their person for self-defense.
-People learned to recognize the different ghosts that visit Amity. They know their names and which ones are the most dangerous and all that.
-Often, people watch how Phantom reacts to a ghost (whether or not he fights them, and how much effort he puts into it) to gauge how much of a threat they are. Sometimes people just ask him. He seems to know all the ghosts.
-Phantom also seems to know who literally every single person in town is, somehow.
-Overtime, ghosts and humans start to mingle here and there. Some ghosts are just chill and hang around like it’s no big deal. People pet the stray ghost cats. Little ghost blobs are everywhere and most of them are just cute or annoying.
-Everyone knows not to ask a ghost about their death.
-December is the slowest time of the year for ghost attacks because of the truce. (Even if it’s not Official Truce Hours people just get into the holiday spirit early.)
-To outsiders, everyone seems inexplicably fearless. Their sense of danger is skewed.
-People moving out of town is rare. One reason being it’s awkward to leave and then have to live around people who don’t believe in ghosts. And another reason may or may not be some subtle ghostly influence that makes you want to stay.
-Likewise, people don’t decide to move there very often. They might pass through, and laugh a little at how superstitious everyone is, but the place is too weird for them.
(Feel free to discuss or add your own!)
