Is Aziraphale a alpha?
He is the Alpha and the Omega.
I just saw an ad for angry birds in the same shitty format as every other shitty mobile game ad right now? The kind that’s a weird skit where two random people are talking and then one starts infodumping unprompted about how the game is free and has no ads? It was kind of funny brcause those game ads suck, but kind of sad because i remember when ads didn’t look or sound like that, and they shouldn’t have done that to a mobile game legend like angry birds.
in fucking Tears thinking about how disgusting a baby griffin would look
Kinda weird how the music that was popular when you were in grade school was mostly made by people substantially older than you, and yet that music is societally connected to your age group rather than the age group that made it. This is less so now that pretty much anyone can get their hands on audio software now, but skill still needs time to develop so most of the good stuff is written by people in their 20s at least.
Fear of losing things that are important to you and it’s called The Loss but most of its iconography looks like | |l || |_
The Magnus Archives but the Fears have broken up into even weirder and esoteric and specific fears like a fear of breakable objects (The Breaking) the fear of disappointing your dad (The Failureing) and the fear of long lines at the fast food joint (The Lengthening
The curse of modern fandom is that it has allowed fans to get even closer to artists, but they won't view the artists as people.
Human limits, human mistakes, human feelings, human needs, are never ascribed to artists, and when other fans rightfully point out, "hey, humans are making this, maybe don't harass them or demand they cater to your personal tastes," it gets shut down under, "uh, people who make popular mainstream things are automatically Public Figures who are also probably rich, so eat the rich and destroy artists over every perceived minor fault. <3"
Even though there's, y'know, a really big strike currently going on because those artists are very much not rich or influential or in control of the bullshit.
Ive noticed something through the process of reporting the endless barrage of spambots.
Either the bio does not have an age, or the age is 23.
Is 23 a sexy age? Do you automatically gain +10 sex appeal points for the year that you’re 23 and lose them on your 24th birthday? Is 23 a common “random” number? Am I actually just being influenced by recency bias and subconsciously ignoring any other ages?
Am I overanalyzing the age stated in the bio of a spambot? Yes, yes I believe I am.
This too shall pass but like holy fuck
Found a post i saved a screenshot of from another platform ages ago (this particular one went into my photos in april 2022 from insta apparently. It had about 60k notes at the time)
Team “not actually oblivious to flirting, just terrified of appearing presumptuous” represent.
The Magnus Archives is genuinely so funny from an objective pov because for four full seasons it’s this really tense horrifying portrayal of losing yourself to your fears and then the last season is just two very grumpy British boyfriends, one of which is just a regular nerd who loves tea while the other one is literally the antichrist, taking a road trip through a post apocalyptic wasteland during which the nerd constantly complains about his eldritch boyfriend’s habit of needing to sustain himself via recording his emo slam poetry.
I was having complex thoughts about the distortion, truly expanding my concept of reality by way of the funny gay door thing, and then i got distracted and forgor
