What if jonah prefers symbolic/nonmoving eyes and doesn’t look through other people’s eyes very much because he’s prone to motion sickness and looking through moving eyes is sort of like watching someone else play portal. I enjoy the concept of Hordak defaulting to looming over people from behind. Like, that is how he arrives to start a conversation. He means nothing negative by it; it's just his natural way of inserting himself into a social situation. No matter where he is.

People just see his tall shadow fall over them. They turn around slowly, and there he is. Glaring down at them. Stony-faced. Red eyes glowing. Deeply intimidating.
