tips for depressed, chronically ill, & disabled littles.

it can sometimes be hard to feel little when you spend a lot of time in pain, bedridden, dealing with scary big thoughts, or any of the other things that can accompany mental or physical disabilities so these are things u can do to feel small with little effort.

ᯓ★ keep soft blankets + stuffies near you

literally what’s smaller than having your soft little comfort plushes with you? this is probably the easiest thing u can do that will make you feel at least a little smaller.

ᯓ★ download mobile games for kids

if you aren’t someone who can get up and down off the floor or if you’re in a lot of pain, or if its just a rough day and you want to stay in bed little kid games are good for feeling tiny.

ᯓ★ play baby music or soft lullabies 

if you’re not feeling up to playing at all and just need to rest, lullabies and nursery rhymes are rlly good for helping you rest and helping you feel tiny.

ᯓ★ age regression fanfic

this might sound silly but for littles with chronic pain something that genuinely can help is mood boards, one shots, etc. about ur favorite fictional cgs.

ᯓ★ think of your ‘lazy’ clothes as baby clothes

toddlers and babies are almost always dressed in comfy soft clothes so if you’re always in your soft sweatpants or cozy pjs to alleviate discomfort it’s just like little kids getting dressed in their soft little clothes!

ᯓ★ middle regression is always an option

if you’re worried about regressing because you have to take care of yourself (ex. handle a walking aid, medicine, etc.) middle regression is super accessible because you can be regressed and do a lot of the things big you can already do

middle regression can also entail less rambunctious/active play (videos games, reading, coloring, etc.)

ᯓ★ audio books 

if you look up ‘audio kids books’ or some form of that on youtube you can find kids stories read aloud! its something super fun that can make you feel small and you can do it anywhere at anytime.

ᯓ★ calming kids activities 

there are a whole bunch of websites that have ‘calm down’ activities for when kids are winding down from rambunctious play (playing with play dough, sensory toys, singing abcs/nursery rhyme games)

ᯓ★ remember not all regression looks the same

you don’t have to do anything to be small or to be valid as a regressor, regression looks different for everyone. there are ppl who regress and watch horror movies or ppl who regress while doing big kid things like going to the store or to school. your disability, no matter what form it comes in, does not invalidate your regression.

I watched all of epic the musical even if i don't know how i feel about writing epic the musical agere i do know the long 'little wolf' is a great nickname i will be using here :3

i think hypnos is one of the best gods for sleepy regressors, its always nice to be regresed ready for bed and just saying goodnight and falling asleep quickly sniffing the lavender by his altar, having the warm blanket embrace me while i have stuffies in my arms and drift to good dreams warm and safe <3

also i should add i will be starting to make DNI agere banners so if you have your gods/goddesses or patrons (no matter if ite hero worship or diety worship) i will make it for you ^^

little! zagreus x CG! patrochilles (NOT A SHIP)

zagreus was visiting Elysium, sitting on the grassy floor messing with a stuffed animal of Cerberus. Patroclus and Achilles were sitting close by to the little one this being achilles' second chance to care for a 'child'. When Zag was playing a little too rough with his toy he ripped a paw off, Patroclus caught it and could comfort him. "stranger-" achilles always corrected him when he called Zagreus a stranger. "right, kiddo. come here give me the toy I'll fix it" Zag nodded and handed his toy over to Patroclus attempting to find a needle and string. achilles patted his lap signaling for the boy to sit on his lap "Come here little lad it is all right, I um... wish to comfort you" Zag came close crying a bit that his toy was torn. Achilles cuddled him into his chest and shushed him. patroclus spoke up "Dear please lean your head a bit further" achilles did so and got a single hair pulled off "I am sorry but i do not have a thread so i am using yours and my hair to sew it up." achilles didn't complain just kept holding zag "that's my brave boy it is okay no need to cry" he kissed his temple a few times. when Patroclus was fully done he handed the stuffed animal back and patted him on the head "Here little guy" he smiled at Zag and squeezed his hand. zag's eyes lit up and he hugged the toy to his face giving achilles the perfect excuse to start tickling the boy's sides. the day ended with laughing and being close.

oh my god do write the patchilles + tiny zag (if you want to)!!!! its such a good concept i wish there was more of it

Nico was sitting on the infirmary counters in the break room sorting band-aids, cotton balls, alcohol swabs, and stickers for Will while he was on lunch break. he sorted the colorful child band-aids in one jar and the boring beige ones in another. All while suckling on his paci and happily kicking his legs on the counter's edge. Will looked up after Nico was done sorting medical supplies and got up to hook up his bottle warmer so Nico could have something for lunch. "hey darlin' do you want your baba?" Nico vigorously nodded since he was hungry and wanted warm milk in his tummy. Will chuckled and started pouring two percent milk into a bottle with bats on it he put a little pumpkin spice in it for flavor. he shook the bottle and mixed it up thoroughly before plugging the bottle warmer in, he placed it in the bottle warmer and waited until it was nice and warm which Nico enjoyed. when it was warm enough Will took it off, unplugged the bottle warmer, and grabbed Nico holding him by the waist. "alright darlin' let's give you some milk" he rested Nico on his lap and took out his paci and replaced it with the bottle. nico suckled hungrily but he calmed down and was at a good pace now, he was very hungry and wanted as much milk as the bottle had. Will could see he was starting to get sleepy from the warm milk. Will started rocking his baby in his arms and humming a lullaby in attempt to lull him to nap. Once Nico closed his eyes and his paci was in his mouth he started to drift to sleep. Once lunch was over for Will he placed a blanket over Nico and his bat stuffed animal named 'Batty' and shut the light off before going back to his shift.
