So I basically questioned myself what Kingdom I had to choose to live on one hand we got the Pale King with a petty light god knocking on their front door asking for their kingdom back in the most terrifying way possible and the possibility that the Pale King also wanted to colonize other territories within the borders of his kingdom that has been left untouched.
Meanwhile in the Kingdom of Light we have The Eden Elder also known as The King/Resh that basically had an obsession with dark stone and possibly turned into that giant crystal we see at the end of Eden. He also plunged his own kingdom into a Calamity that possibly caused tears in the fabric of time itself.
(It’s a theory I have that the Calamity that Resh caused for Sky basically caused tears in time which explains whole time traveling thing that TGC said.)
I would rather choose the Kingdom of Light since I have a slim chance of becoming a spirit and being able to fly or become a silly Skykid that is a menace to society themselves. What kingdom you would choose?
I forget that I have a V1 minecraft skin 😭

(LONG ASS EXPLANATION OF MY AU OF SKY)
I don’t know where to start with this but, I can pretty much explain the foundations I have for this AU + the other interests I have combined with this AU. Some things are still being changed or being planned out.
Most of it is based off the concept arts, alleged lore and some of my interpretations of Sky itself that I am presenting here;
There’s not a clear origin myth stated within the game/concept arts sadly but I believe there are hints overall due to the murals we find in the Isle of Dawn and some cutscenes. I believe personally that each realm had a clusters of people living separately with the borders until the Elders fell from the sky and naturally they started to gain a following and built the foundations of the Kingdom of Light. Some seasonal guides started to pop such as the Lightseekers, Prophecy and a few others during this time. Prophecies naturally started to appear about Resh (Aka the King) saying that they would unite the realms together as a grand kingdom but that would take a while.
Technological advancements started to appear and trade routes were established along with the boats and other transportation methods were invented. Myths, folklore and mythology started to spread across the realms and created a common mythology that the people would tell until Resh came into the picture to establish the Kingdom of Light. A Golden Age naturally came in along with dark stone technology that we see remains of it or functional structures in-game. But sooner or later that age won’t last and we pretty get a good picture from there on how things went downhill. We don’t have a full picture on how much destruction Resh caused but we probably know he ripped the fabric of time itself into shreds resulting what we see now and the Eye of Eden/The Storm. I think it’s some kind of twisted version of a hurricane that just keeps growing and that’s established earlier on my current doc of my AU. But it introduces the Skykids (Children of Light.) I believe the name is more of a species name to Skykids. But moving on, I can’t get enough of how much cool stuff they scrapped from the game but I’m planning to use those as ideas for my AU in my interpretation of what the concept arts could possibly mean.
I am fascinated by some of Resh’s concept art since there are some pointers that he is indeed “corrupted” and the eye of the storm or in the middle of it. I also like the idea that he looks like he’s stuck in place and throw scary looking spears at you.
Concept arts of Resh shown below;
But I also find the Megabird’s concept art very awesome sauce too since we could’ve had a ingame interaction with them;
But we also could’ve have some really cool creatures of darkness appear ingame but I understand why they didn’t add them since they look like pure nightmare fuel;
But moving along to the other ideas I have, but I believe that there is a whole multiverse if I didn’t add this how else would I be able to explain the existence of the other games I’m planning to connect to this AU? Some things did slip from the cracks such as humans, creatures, other beings, and especially a few things from Ultrakill’s version of Hell, that caused the fear of humans or things that look like them within the world of Sky, The Void from Hollow Knight does indeed exist but as the darkness we see within Sky. I think those things are indeed similar in nature but exist as two very different things within the two different but alike worlds of Sky and Hollow Knight. But there’s not knowledge on humans to the world of Sky, (trust me I will probably revisit that since I’m rewriting/redesigning the whole Honkai Impact 3rd universe.)
We see the whole AU through the POV of Aria mostly there are branching stories I am building around this since I think different characters could help explore this complex AU I have in my mind but I’m mostly calling this whole thing, “StarFall.” But I’m mostly leaving this short since I don’t wanna spoil much of what I have planned for this AU so good luck at find hints or other things I have left on this blog.
I wanted to see more morally grey characters or some cool ass OC that has to deal with real consequences in media but I decided to make it myself for fun and now I’m way too invested in this and waist deep in this silly AU I’m making. But enjoy this silly little ramble I put together in a whole hour.
Okay does anyone think about this???
You know that Grimm and his troupe usually appear in ruined kingdoms if someone summoned the whole group there.
But what if, skykids accidentally summon Grimm and his troupe to the Kingdom of Light (Aka the world of Sky:CotL)
Now the Elders and spirits have to deal with a literal Nightmare god and his troupe at their front doorstep while the Kingdom just started to rebuild itself and healing from after the fall.
I can’t help but think about what we could’ve had for Sky. Like the beta Elder cutscenes, Resh’s concept art. The lore??? I wish more of the lore was in-game than an animated series that is planned to be released.
There’s just so much to talk about Sky:CotL overall I wish I could talk about but I’m nervous to talk to other people online lol
Im questioning my whole life rn over the current silksong leaks
Sky:CotL and Hollow Knight really need to collab. Like I’m sitting here watching TGC collab with a show and wondering why they haven’t collabed yet with a game. Even tho Hollow Knight is the complete opposite of Sky:CotL both of them have similarities. Like just collab please
i hate it when people try to cram several questions into one poll, so i'm gonna do it the old fashioned way:
sky players, reblog this post and put in the tags what was your first season and where is your starting point set
Got some fresh out of the oven art that is a sketch. Idk if I should finish this since it is my oc and I’m getting used to digital art still
My two cents about the Elders' stars and my headcanons about their star of origin ^u^
Apparently, Skykids and Elders came from the same origin, that is falling from the heavens as a star. This inspired me to think of headcanons as to what their stars could be and an explanation as to how that is their star
Bear in mind I haven't exactly read up on the rest of the lore yet and I may make some mistakes here and there because uhhh I will stand by my headcanons for life and I will fight everyone for it /pos /hj ',:)
Daleth / Isle Elder / Dawn - Red Dwarf Star
In my opinion, the Red Dwarf Star fits Daleth, seeing as their realm is reminiscent of a sunrise or at the very least the appearance of the sun breaching just over the horizon, the light is dimmer in the realm compared to Prairie, matching with the lesser brightness given by a red dwarf rather than a yellow dwarf—our own sun
While I am sure Daleth's work is important, perhaps shepherding an aviary of light birds or a kaleidoscope of butterflies until sent to Prairie is a demanding job seeing as both are abundant in Isle, I do assume they use their light for guidance to help the animals and bugs, sometimes, especially in the past, even the boats if their people needed them at night/generally if lost
Ayin / Prairie Elder / Day - Yellow Dwarf Star
A Yellow Dwarf Star seems perfectly reasonable for Ayin, as his realm is essentially the reflection of the morning, with the sun beaming in the sky and providing the perfect environment for fauna and flora alike, especially in Bird's Nest and Butterfly Fields, making it clear the environment is healthy enough to sustain a balanced ecosystem**
I believe that storing butterflies takes quite a bit of light the more is stored, and the reason why is for cultural practices, butterdyes/colourflies/dyeflies (Radiance, so probably inapplicable in canon though I am not sure), and overall having builders and civilians must take quite a bit of light to manage, so their slightly higher energy usage is reflected in their star
Teth / Forest Elder / Rain - Red Supergiant Star
I personally like to suspect that the reason why Forest is the most industrialized area in terms of creating technology such as Octahedrons is the abundance of the minerals needed in the forest alongside light, though dampened by the acid rain, which may have been an adverse effect of said production which could be damaging to the environment
Smithing includes great usage of energy, and dependency on light to create a balance between darkness and light to create a stable alloy/containment/vessel, and because of this, the light expenditures must have been grand as it seems that Forest is almost dependent on light to function, hence the star of origin here being the Red Supergiant
Samehk / Sah and Mehk / Valley Elders / Sunset - Red Giant Star
I like to think that they were one star separated by an odd occurrence, which then their cores were distributed among them both and now they have a constant fiery and strong competitiveness, all instilled in Valley folks; that is, their passion. All valley citizens are most likely passionate about their interests, seeing as they celebrate the grandest, and have a colosseum dedicated to entertainment or matches, generally for sports activities around light
The use of light in the Valleys is integral to their cultural significance and their environment, as the demand for light might be great in the high mountains where there is less oxygen for any flame to properly kindle while they host events that may use up quite a bit of light
Tsadi / Wasteland Elder / Dusk - Brown Dwarf Star
I often thought that maybe Tsadi's star would be exhausted instead of naturally small, seeing as the warrior seemed fatigued during their cutscene at the altar. The demand for light in Wasteland might be incredibly high yet production is low as there is almost no light in the realm apart from Treasure Reef and a few gaps in The Arc, which fit into the Brown Dwarf as it is unable to sustain nuclear fission, unlike other stars, hence, far less light compared to other stars
The light must be focused inside of the weapons instead, though it appears that the war has been lost anyway in the end, fulfilling the idea of a Brown Dwarf as it was unfortunately not enough despite the efforts given to sustain the people, as seen in The Arc's attempt at farmland and their water supply
Lamed / Vault Elder / Night - Blue Giant Star
(Sorry if I sound biased I love Lamed by a lot)
The Vault Elder is incredibly suspicious in lore and seems to have shrunken exponentially compared to their Orbit appearance, which may entail that Elders use up quite a bit of light/energy to upkeep their realms as they all shrink in Orbit, because of this, I truly believe that the Vault is an extension of Lamed, heavily weakening the Elder in exchange of becoming all-knowing of all the knowledge stored in the stars upon stars of the non-euclidean interior of the Vault
The energy usage of the Vault, while possibly self-sustaining while using octahedrons imported from Forest, is incredibly high, as stacks upon stacks of memory lanterns are stored on high shelves, the elevator functions, and the extreme use of light in most situations between each layer of the Realm, all of which demand extreme power usage, especially after its entrances have been sealed shut
I won't be doing Resh/Alef, I do not know anything about him sorry :(( but I hope this rant was even a tiny bit understandable because it has 0 contributions to the actual lore B))) it's 2 am btw why did I do this in one go it might not make sense
