I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.

Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.

As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.

In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.

Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.

For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.

Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.

Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.

Very glad to see people enjoy these so much so Imma leave a few design notes and other stuff because these are some of my favorite pokemon designs I've done

The thing about Pokemon Unite is that it has a limited amount of playable pokemon, so if I want to keep all the lifers as playable pokemon I have to make some odd choices and have some repeated pokemon which is a fun design challenge

- Scar is a decidueye because HotGuy (Both in being an archer and the name sounding like Hawk Eye, so archer + bird with good sight boom decidueye) Shocking I know.

A small detail I didn't fit in this doodle page is that his leaf cloak thingy is actually brown (like the jacket in his usual skin) but since he changes skins SO MUCH during the life series he just dyes (?) the cloak and decorates it to look cool <3 I would also like to point out that his claws are red and not dark like usual, aka he paints his nails to fit the cloak.

-Grian is a (Shiny) talonflame because there's not that many bird pokemon in unite and the fire typing just kinda fits him. Besides, as someone who used to main Talonflame in unite, it's an absolute beast when used right, much like Grian being overall really good at the life series and usually ending up in a pretty high spot. You could also add some spice and lore into the mix by saying he's actually a mew but spends most of the time transformed into a talonflame

-Espeon Martyn was mostly an impulsive choice. Really the only thing backing this up was big ears = listener and psychic type = Watcher / higher being- related. Tbf I think his design is the weakest of the batch so I may change it up a bit when I inevitably do fullbody designs for all of them.

-Ren is a Zacian mainly just because of being associated with royalty and Zamazenta (who has a more red color palette) not being a playable pokemon. So red Zacian go brrr. Someone also brought up the idea of this big legendary wolf being defeated by smaller pokemon and I think that's funny as hell.

-Absol Jimmy is pretty self explanatory and has cause multiple threats of being strangled in the tags /j

-Ninetales Scott just kinda fits. I honestly don't know that much about Scott outside of the life series but an elegant and seemingly dainty but powerful pokemon came across as the best choice. Also allowed me to sneak in some star motifs in there ;)

-Lizzie just screams fairy type, Sylveon is such a Lizzie pokemon and I cannot be convinced otherwise. She does have some umbreon motifs to spice things up in her design (which is my favorite btw) and also separate her from another lifer that will also be yassified (turned into a sylveon).

- I originally planned on umbreon for Joel to fit his personality but ultimately went for Leafeon because 1) I like angsty/angry leafeon designs and 2) Leafeon's playstyle (attack-focused and pretty fast and aggressive, or furious if you will) felt more fitting for Joel than umbreon's (defensive). I think the softer looking and plant themed pokemon is a good contrast with Joel's personality

- i don't know if Delphox gives off Gem vibes, or Gem gives off Delphox vibes, but there is A Connection. Psychic type also kinda connects to her wild life power being astral projection, and being an offensive pokemon fits her ability to demolish everyone in pvp

- Zoroark Pearl is a cool contrast with Gem, being both foxes of a related but opposite type (Dark and psychic) and more or less associable with sun & moon / day & night. Unite Zoroark is also able to take down several rivals completely solo under right cirsumstances (<< written by a Decidueye main who played during the introduction of Zoroark in the game and has been traumatized since) which I guess you could link with Double life Pearl

I can't wait to have some free time an motivation to do the next doodle page because I already have every lifer assigned to a pokemon and considering I've never drawn some of those pokemon I am excited <3

Holy shit I finished this like 3 weeks ago and then completely forgot to post Enjoy the silly block people living in my head rent-free that I draw as an excuse to experiment with design

Simple life Scar is??? So unhinged??? My man just shot Ren off a ladder and proceeded to go back to fishing immediately completely unbothered. And then kills Martyn, SEES THE LIGHTNING IN FRONT OF HIM, and needs Tango and Cleo to tell him he did it

But at the same time, it's not the first time that last one has happened is it

GIGGS Immortal Company AU

aka A GIGGS AU where the five of them are broke immortals trying to capitalize on their inability to die by taking on life-threatening jobs.

Impulse and Skizz founded the company. Skizz had the idea and persuaded Impulse to pursue it. Impulse has extensive experience in ghost hunting and prioritizes on-site jobs, while Skizz’s expertise is in handling clients and paperwork. They started as a duo and received mostly ghost-busting jobs. Years into their business, the jobs became more demanding and dangerous, and despite their immortality, it was still a bit much for two people to handle.

Their first recruit was Scar. They never talked to the man, but they often saw him in the city; each time they saw him, he always sat near the lake with a journal and pen in his hands, and a cane rested on his chair. They have been working as IMP n’ SKIZZ for a few decades at this point, and Skizz pointed out to Impulse that the man doesn’t seem to age despite seeing him every week or month. When they talked to him, they found out that Scar was an immortal as well. He agreed to join the company, and although he was clumsy most times and he died so often, it helped out the duo’s workload a ton. Especially with clients. It felt like they accidentally hired themselves a top salesman and a PR guy.

Their next recruit was Grian… well, more like their first applicant. He suddenly showed up one day in their company building asking they need one more employee. Impulse thought it was a good idea as they started to receive jobs that required them to go off-country, or even off-planet. Grian served as a great addition to their team with the way he strategizes and how quick he get things done. Though he’s a very unsettling person. They’re not even sure if he’s human. Each time he died, his corpse stayed on the ground, and he suddenly pops up somewhere.

Their last official member is Gem, who was neither a recruit nor an applicant. She was a hitman paid to kill Scar. She sabotaged a lot of their jobs just to get a swing at Scar, who never seemed to die even when she ripped his heart out. When Grian tried to kill her to get rid of her, her wounds instantly healed. After a while, she realized that her attempts at killing the old conman were futile. Skizz and Impulse tried to recruit her, seeing that her abilities can help the company, but she refused. They didn’t see her for a few years, and she showed up one day saying she’s sick of killing people for money and wants to go on (creepy) adventures.

The five of them made a perfect team, and thus IMP n’ SKIZZ was renamed to GIGGS after a few years.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

IMPULSE

When he dies, his body tries to repair itself back together, and if his important organs are still intact, he goes back into consciousness.

The cause of his immortality is unknown.

Before falling into an existential crisis and state of depression and hopelessness thanks to his immortality, he was a ghost hunter.

SKIZZLEMAN “SKIZZ”

His immortality is the same as Impulse’s, but his consciousness never leaves his body.

The cause of his immortality is unknown.

A few hundred years ago, he was a radio host who was known for his ghost stories segment. The station eventually fell into obscurity before it completely stopped its operation.

He joined a ghost hunter services company a year later, and that’s where he met impulse.

MR. GOODTIMES "SCAR"

He gets scars and can bleed, but doesn’t feel pain. He can also get his heart ripped off and still be able to live. No part of his body can die, and even though he can’t regenerate a whole new organ, his organs can live apart from him.

However, once his body parts or organs reattach to him, it connects with gooey gold which harden after a while, making it harder to remove the next time. Though, this also causes problems sometimes and makes it harder for Scar to move. This is why he uses a cane for his leg.

He gained immortality from a golden cat statue after he repaired it. Some of its shards are missing, so he’s unsure whether this immortality was a blessing or a curse.

He used to be a con artist. He once tricked a billionaire into investing in his fake business. After he got some hundred million, he booked it and lived comfortably in hiding.

GRIAN

His corpses stay dead, but he pops back into existence randomly.

Beneath his glasses, his eyes are hollow and hold a deep abyss inside them.

Sometimes, his new body doesn't express emotions well, so the team rely on his voice and actions to tell how he’s feeling.

The cause of his immortality is unknown. It’s also unknown what kind of creature he is.

AGENT GEMINI "GEM"

She can die, but only if every single one of the cells explodes. She can grow old, but her regeneration is so fast that her aging is incredibly slowed down. She calls herself a “Pseudo Immortal”. Her skin is difficult to slice apart with how fast it connects back together.

Her immortality’s cause is a secret.

Her life before being a hitman is also a secret.
