I like to think of charlie as a mini celebrety. Theres a small second hand shop he goes to once a week, he's great friends with all 4 of the workers there, the elderly owners see him as a grandchild, he cleans the book section, they give him a free snack if he's had a bad day. He volentiers at both the homeless shelter and elderly home, all the old people LOVE him! He knows all the stories of every homeless person and elderly grandparent in town. He went to a summercamp where he got so good with the equipment they had at their wherehouse he got a job as an unpaid instructer there at the age of 7 since he was better then the actuall workers, most of the kids in camp came from tpugh homes so they started seeing him as a parental figure, he (emotionaly) has 30 kids now, almost half of them are older then him, he attends every game, dance and play they are in and gives them advice and a place to stay if they get kicked out, he's also close with many buisness owners in town and got his kids jobs to help them. He's super close with a local gang that used to be 4 gangs that he got to work together when he was 6, they are now doing comunity work as self defence trainers and did time in jail as punishment for their crimes and thanks to him they work with the police to help homeless kids driven to lifes of crime and to help clear the streats from violence to make them safer and they even do gun safty lectures in school. He has multiple friends in the police fource and goes undercover for them to help them bust drug oparations, he even babysat one of the cop's kids, his name is gladius he's married to a semi-blind detective named asher and they have 3 kids and 2 dogs

As a semi-tech iliterat gen-Z this helps a LOT even if u arent coming from tiktok (ive never had tiktik in my life lol) i appritiate this guid a lot

to those of you who are moving here from tiktok, from someone whos used both tiktok and tumbr for years...

1. DO NOT censor your posts

dont censor sex, abuse, suicide, dont censor it. we dont have censors like tiktok does, you wont be banned for talking about these things and tagging them properly helps people avoid them (also, we dont have shadowbanning here)

2. we dont really have an algorithm

you follow who you follow, and you see posts from who you follow or what you search. the 'for you page' is basically useless here. this also brings me to my next two points

3. dont crosstag

we get it, on tiktok you have to crosstag for reach, but thats not really a thing here. just tag your posts properly (also posters often leave more info about the post in the tags!! and when you reblog stuff you can leave your own notes in the tags, kind of like the old "repost comments" on tiktok)

4. dont expect to go viral/be famous

"viral" isnt really a thing on here (at least not for the average blogger). your posts will probably get 2-10 likes and you wont get nearly as many followers than on tiktok. thats just how tumblr is

5. blocking is your best friend

tiktok is VERY discussion based, and while tumblr is much more discussion based than other social medias, its still not a good place for ragebait/discourse. dont interact, itll make your experience worse in the end, just block and move on

6. you cant go into someone elses house and start rearranging their furniture

this is tumblr, not tiktok. dont diss old tumblr users for how they use the site or try to change them, thats like going into someone elses house and trying to rearrange their furniture. we've been here longer and we're familiar with the site and its culture, either find your niche, adapt, or find a different app

i could see this coinciding with jason in a curious way. even though he's not technically part wolf, it's kind of a given he'd have wolf-like behaviors. i'd be curious if these same moon cycles inspire a heat within him (or would it be a rutt? for as much abo as i've read sometimes i get the terms confused). it would be the worst coincidence if the time that jason needs percy most is the time he can't have him due to such a high pregnancy risk.

ofc, when given something tempting & forbidden, the question is who would break first?

you have jason, who continually wants to break out of that box of leadership, who wants to be gentle & take care of percy during these lunar cycles. he wants to respect percy's wishes, because in what world would they be ready for a child? at the same time, though, his mind is screaming at him about how good percy looks (& would look while pregnant 👀), how he needs to mate, etc.

then you have percy, who was always a rule-breaker, though he is serious about the uncertainty of kids. he wants to be responsible in this, to not tie jason down (despite jason being ready to Pop The Question & Die for him at a moment's notice lmao). still, his brain is barraging him with thoughts of what a good dad jason would be, of how much he needs jason to breed him Like Yesterday

ultimately, i think it'd be fun to see like a cat-&-mouse, will-they-won't-they of "i wanna respect your decision but also i'm gonna lose my mind if i can't have you right now" situation on both ends. it would probably end with percy seducing jason ("seducing" being as tame as wearing shorts & eating a popsicle around him tbh, these guys don't take much lmao) before jason is bending percy over the nearest available surface to finally give in, pregnancy or otherwise.

He walked inside, the bell wrang ''hi Cinder'' he said, his voice was numb ''hi Charli- oh, oh goodness, are you alright?'' She asked, her wrinkled face expressed concern, her curly, firey red hair - which had started gaining white ashy streaks in it long ago - rested on her shoulders which were covered in a purple shawl, she had a flower hairpin in her hair, ''oh, Burny! Burny! Where are you, I need you start the hotdog mechine'' she called to her husbend in the mini kitchen, her voice was soft and deep, her tone was motherly ''you must be starving, its past four PM and you've probebly just gotten out of school! Sit down, i'll go get you a hotdog, on the house'' she usherd charlie to sit on the chair, something which was slightly harder considuring how short she was, her hight came with her age turning her from an avregly highted slightly chubby women to a short slightly chubby women, she was always this kind though, there was never a time she wasnt this sweet ''I cant except this Cinder, i have to pay you'' Charlie said ''noncense!'' She answered ''trust me darling, you do enough to earn this, if it werent for you Sasha and Sock would have to orgenise and clean the bookshelve by themselves, it's tedius! No one can do it like you, and no one else has time to do it, if it werent for you no one would touch the book section'' she said laughing ''thanks'' Charlie said, a slight smile playing on his lips ''Burny! Put a hotdog on the grill!'' She paused for a moment ''and add some fries too''
