So..it's very obvious that the Hewitt family tree is..more than complicated. The ages and the relations between the seven members can be perplexing. I attempted to be as canon as possible, but there's always room for criticism and changes :)
Here's an *attempt* at a family tree {Click for better quality, I do apologize.}.
Luda Mae, Montgomery, and Katherine are the children of an unknown woman and Charles 'Charlie' Hewitt. Charles 'Charlie' Hewitt Jr. {Hoyt}, is the child of Luda Mae and Charles Hewitt {nonconsensual}. Thomas is the child of Sloane {factory worker} and an unknown father. Henrietta is the child of Katherine and an unknown father. Jedidiah's origins are unknown; But he is the grandson of Luda Mae Hewitt.
Luda Mae appears to be the eldest; Marietta Marich, the actress which portrayed Luda Mae, was quoted saying "Whenever I do a part, I like to get into the character — just become the character — and make her as real as possible. So I figured Luda Mae was dirt poor and probably one of four or five kids, and the oldest, so she's like the momma." According to the official Texas Chainsaw Massacre Wiki on Fandom, Monty is around 70 years old, born in 1903; Making him 66 in the 2006 prequel, and 70 in the 2003 remake. On Hoyt's wiki page, he was born in 1914; Making him 55 in the 2006 prequel, and 59 at the time of his death during the 2003 remake. The Tea Lady, dubbed 'Kathy', has no official age or date of birth, but many speculate {based on her appearance as well as her actor, Kathy Lamkin,} that she is in her late-forties to mid-fifties. Henrietta also does not have an official age nor date of birth; Many speculate {based on her appearance as well as her actor, Heather Kafka,} that she is in her early-to-mid-thirties. Jedidiah's wiki page reveals no age nor date of birth, but speculates he was born in the late 1960's, making him around 5-9 years old. David Dorfman, the actor that portrayed Jedidiah, was 10 at the time of filming the 2003 remake. Thomas was born in August of 1939; Making him 30 during the 2006 prequel, and 34 at the time of the 2003 remake.
Hope this clears things up for some!
Much love, 🫀
Guys what if Thomas ate his partner {😏}
Metaphorically....as an act of love...in a fit of devotion...hm..
Octopus and shrimp
Hi Tae, I was wondering if you could tell us how Thomas would react if a victim (reader) who's cornored or meets him for the first time stare into his eyes for a moment, taking all the details in, to then tell him that he has beautiful eyes. It dosen’t matter if he looks at then angrily or with a dark gaze. They still thinks they are beautiful. Like a gem or the sky on a sunny day.
I figured you could answer this easily since you know the Hewitt family so well and it's pretty much an easy question.
oooo I love this!!
I think he'd be very confused and taken back which would cause him to pause for a bit - He's in his own head a lot. This gives the victim more time to escape but as soon as you move he's right back in the game. (Or..with a little "family motivation")
__
"You're beautiful." You don't know why you said it - Why you felt it. All you knew was that it's true: He was beautiful, at least to you.
The cannibal paused. Beautiful? Such words were never used to describe him, not even once. The most praise he'd gotten was on his work ethic, never on his appearance.
His expression tightened, what was left of his nose wrinkled, his eyes squinted as his eyebrows closed in. It doesn't make sense - You're lying. You were just trying to catch him off guard, break down his walls; Escape.
Don't be tempted, son. These women are something else.
That's what Charlie had told him one time - Back in what were supposed to be his high school years. There were always pretty girls with infectious smiles and loud laughs that made him turn his head. He liked the way their hair was done, how creative they could be in accessorizing. He liked their lips and the way they framed their smiles. The fantasy would break as soon as they saw him. He'd be staring at them, distracted from his work at the slaughterhouse or at the community center his momma worked at. The girls would stiffen - They were disgusted with him. Afraid.
Why're you staring? - Can I help you?
He didn't have the tools to answer those questions. His answer wouldn't make anything better; In fact, it'd make it worse. They weren't asking out of genuine curiosity, they wanted to deter him. His freakish nature and abnormal behavior. Momma taught him not to stare, but, why could they stare? No one told them not to, he was a macabre one, that's for sure.
In a matter of seconds, his head replayed the compliment you gave to him. Beautiful. He was beautiful.
It felt good. Odd, peculiar, abnormal, but so damn good.
Say it again. Just one more time; Please?
Of course, he couldn't say that. He didn't say that. And he didn't want to.
Thomas restarted the chainsaw, revving it loud enough to drown out his irrational thinking. You didn't mean it. You couldn't have.
You jolted back, frightened, but yet, still determined.
"Beautiful, beautiful eyes." You whispered shakily.
He threw the chainsaw to the ground, frustrated and confused. If you didn't mean it, stop fucking saying it!
"What's taking so damn long down there!" A voice called out from upstairs. "Tommy, stop stallin' and cut her up already!"
Hoyt stomped down the stairs, his eyes meeting the corner you were trapped in. "Oh, Christ, Thomas. Get a grip on yourself."
"What? Did she butter you up all nice and sweet, huh?" Hoyt called out condescendingly. He didn't view Thomas as "ugly" necessarily, but Hoyt knew a thing or two about survival. Never let your guard down. Ever.
Tommy looked between the two of you, frustrated, confused, overwhelmed. He wasn't teary-eyed but he was damn close. Still, his anger shadowed his confusion as he picked up the chainsaw once more, starting it up as the two of you locked eyes.
"There you go...attaboy, Tommy. Finish the job like you always do."

Sorry this is kinda short. I was in the mood for a mini oneshot lol
As always, if you have more requests, questions, or I misinterpreted an ask, please let me know!
OH MY GOD I WAS LOOKING UP WRESTLERS FOR THE ASK YOU SENT ME AND I THOUGHT OF THOMAS AS CHAINSAW CHARLIE
I'm so sorry for not posting guys I've been obsessing over Call of Duty: Modern Warfare + focusing on school 😭
Pls forgive me I promise posts are coming back
I'm so excited for everyone in MAGA to die <3
Throwing a party once the day arrives
do you think Thomas Hewitt from 2003 watches wrestling?
Thomas is such an anomaly that I genuinely don't know. In canon time? Probably not. If he was born in a more modern-era? Yeah, maybe! I think he'd like how rowdy wrestling can get, how over-the-top it can be {to the average person}, and how..'similar' certain wrestlers are to Tommy {appearance wise} - He's a bit confused but also fascinated when he sees people {men in particular} who have similar builds to him, bonus points when they wear masks lol
hmm...
chat is this real

I'm so so sorry this took so long to get to 😭 my brain has been foggy lately
Enjoy another TCM shitpost whilst I work on two Tommy-related analyses🫀 Apparently you can only upload one video per post which sucks but here's a compilation of the four + jumpscare
if the 2006 TCM movie was produced or direct by the same person as the 2003 remake {Marcus Nispel}, it would be so so SO much better. Don't get me wrong, I love TCM: The Beginning - For the lore. If I wasn't invested in TCM I wouldn't care for the movie - Honestly. The cinematography is wonderful {there's better, but I loved the shots outside the house/through the fields}, the FAMILY character designs are top tier - The group/main protagonists? Their designs are..fine. Nothing special, really {which they don't have to be, but some have pointed out that they aren't the most historically accurate.} THE HOUSE?? God, I love the architecture used in this movie - The house is an 1800's plantation home, which I LOVE the features of {not the history..}
I think what made the 2003 remake so great was how consistent the story was, how believable the story was, the cinematography, the characters, and the chemistry. Lots of stuff was happening in that movie - And that doesn't necessarily refer to the events occurring: The connection to the Hewitt's kitchen from the community center's display shelf - Leatherface/Thomas peering through the walls, floor boards, shutters, HIS MASK?? The reveal of Hoyt, Luda Mae, the Tea Lady, and Henrietta as antagonists??? {Monty was an opp from the start}
Also, I hate to say it, but the 2006 protagonists didn't appeal to me much. Listen..they are all GORGEOUS actors {both in talent and looks} but they were dealt with poorly-written characters. The dialogue is fine - Compared to the 2003 remake? Subpar. The 2003 protagonists had/have so much character to them - Pepper is what Bailey was intended to be: A sexual, screaming damsel who loses their love interest. Kemper you just feel bad for; He was gonna propose and dies before he gets to tell Erin? Especially since just {under} an hour before, she'd asked when they were gonna get engaged? His character is built on sympathy - He's a protective, sarcastic, and a bit too nosey for his own good {hence his death.} Morgan is a sensible anxious guy who’s kind of an airhead at times..but he’s logical when faced with fear {surprisingly.} Andy is the protective and reactive force {similarly to Kemper.} Erin is THE final girl. Smart, strategic, alluring? Doesn’t that sound like Erin?
Chrissie and Eric are good characters - but they could've been better. insulting your captives is NOT a smart move. At. All. The thing is, when Eric was insulting Hoyt, he was provoking him as a distraction. When Chrissie insulted the family, she did it as a final ‘fuck you.’ One is more productive than the other in terms of survival {but the ‘fuck you’ was deserved.}
Dean and Bailey pissed me off fr - No survival skills what so ever {okay, that’s not fair..they’re trying - and I sure as shit can’t be talking considering this was a life-or-death situation.} Also, I get it, no one wants to go to war {I sure as shit don’t} but consider Hoyt’s perspective for a moment:
Dean not only abandoned his country - he abandoned his brother. Hoyt knew from the moment he called Eric and Dean over which one was which. He stares Dean down so much; ESPECIALLY IN THE CAR !!!
Hoyt is disgusted by Dean. How could he be so selfish? After all this country’s done for him - He just..abandons it? Not only that, he sacrifices his brother? The Hewitts are so family oriented that this ONE action alone could've set Hoyt off. Pair the two together - Dean was bound to die.
{I feel bad for them all, just fyi}
The worst part {in MY opinion} is the waisted potential. There was so so SO much opportunities for this movie to focus on the FAMILY - Instead, it shares the focus with the protagonists. I know this is supposed to be about their 'first family kill' and how they adopted cannibalism, but we could've had so much more.
More into the relationship between Thomas, Hoyt, and Luda Mae. More into the sibling relationship between Luda, Monty, and The Tea Lady. How's Henrietta related? What was Thomas' first mask? How far did he make it in school? WHY can't he speak? CAN he speak? What is his skin condition??? I wish they explored these more in the movie rather than snippets during the introduction sequence.
Anyway..I still watch this movie religiously, but I wish it explored the family wayyyy more :)
