I have new works but they’re for school and kinda shit.

It’s finally out! The 2nd and last album of Äiti Heresia was a long time coming. Their lead commissioned me to make this about a year ago and I’ve been anxiously waiting to post it ever since.

I’m working on stuff but nothing is even close to being finished.

anyway it’ll be shaped weirdly so I’m not sure if my further works can all be scanned like at all so it may mean the death of thhis blog lol

Got this back from my professor and realized I hadn’t posted about it even tho the course ended months ago so I could’ve.

Rakastanko yleisöä (in a short summary) is about my relationship to ‘’the audience’’. It’s the precursor to my fleshed out Harsh-Squgglyism manifesto I may post one day if I can give it some visual elements.

Finally scanned these, not sure if people prefer the phone camera versions to these since those are a bit closer to what they look like in person. Also found out during scanning that I had already given Ammu kryptomies another name before finishing it and I thought it fits so well that I decided to make both of the names official.

Hard to say, haven't read his stuff, only seen a couple of quotes. The only thing I know for sure is that people who write that much pseudo-autobiographical stuff are usually twats.

Parts 2 and 3 of an ongoing 4 part series of works I’m doing with basically identical composition for a course on personal artistic process.

I felt like I needed to post something on main even tho I have nothing on scanned and decided to test out my new desk lamp and I think these photos are decent altho they do cause weird distortions in the colors and textures + the shine on Ikune Mättö is horrible, but I guess this is a lot closer to how they look in reality since I found out a few months ago that some people on instagram don’t know I draw analogue.

Pictures I took from my parents house that got grainy as shit due to the weird and very pink light conditions I used to live in, which turned out to be great for the theme of pictures from afar. Kinda made me think of photos from space or some shitty paranormal hoax stuff. The text is uncharacteristically written in book finnish because it was for school. My better, more recent stuff is coming when I somehow scan it.

Have had recent thoughts about art and context (mainly due to uni stuff , talking to classmates etc. about course themes). I know my works are vague, but that sometimes sort of pisses me off since my works are often just relegated to cool picture status even when they have deeper stuff in there. Is anyone in favor of like little flavor texts or something/possible explanation behind maybe like a keep reading or some shit?

Finally got this motherfucker scanned. (sold)

Took some more photos of sketches with the fucked up settings to get some moody (and extremely amateurly handled) photos. Even tho it’s unrefined and sort of looks like ass I think the lack of light adds something to them that wouldn’t be there if they were scanned.

Same can’t be said for my newest work tho, which doesn’t look like complete shit when photographed like this, but certainly would benefit from either someone with photography skills or like yk. a fucking scanner taking the picture.
