Ever feel really sad or just not that good, but your mom is making you go to someone's Winnowing Gala anyway? Ugh, so annoying, right? You have to look presentable, but man, you just do NOT have the energy. Well, these tips will be sure to help you out when you need them!!
(In other words, sometimes life hits you hard but you have to keep doing life, and these are tips to help you clean up for when taking an actual shower is just too much)
Brush it, darling
No, seriously
Brush your hair. It will help so much and get all the tangles out and leave you feeling nice
From there, if you want, you can put your hair up
A simple ponytail will do, or even an awesome messy bun
Add a claw clip and boom. Hair.
OR, like me, maybe your hair is too short to put up, or you can only making a tiny ponytail that you know just won't cut it today. Or maybe you just hate the way ponytails look on you.
If that's the case, use dry shampoo
I've seen different methods to use it, but I always spray it on my roots, part my hair in a different spot, spray the roots there, repeat.
Then I part my hair normal, fluff everything up, and boom. Hair.
If you don't have dry shampoo/don't like to use it because Big Sprayer is Loud, use baby powder
I am not making this up I swear
Baby powder works almost the exact same as dry shampoo
Pour some in your hand, (not a lot!!!) and put it on the parts of your hair that look the oiliest
Lift those parts up and do the hair under them, too. Then do the ones under them if it still looks oily
(Like, apply it to your layers)
I do this mostly at the front/where I have slight bangs
Then rub it in the same way you would dry shampoo, brush it, and boom. Hair.
(If you have darker hair, it might not work so well because the baby powder may not blend in super good. Sorry, Bangs Boy!!)
Hat. Cover the hair if you're allowed.
See if maybe there's time to do a quick wash, even if you're not up for it. Just. Lean your head over the bath/sink and just. Wash as fast as possible.
Baby wipes/makeup wipes
Or, wipe down with a wet face towel with a dollop of soap on it
Change clothes
But seriously. It take almost no time and even transferring from one pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt to another can really help
Wash your hands, and try to splash water on your face if you don't have the energy to wash it, too
Clip your nails if it's needed. Don't paint them or anything, just give them a haircut and you'll be on your way
Makeup is not a necessity, but if you feel you can do it, go for it! You got this!
Put on deodorant/spray perfume on yourself. Let the sent settle around you and feel better.

Wear goofy socks that make you smile
Lotion.
Just. Dab it on your hands and knuckles
Also, get a water bottle and challenge yourself to drink the whole thing that day. Just do it
Brush your teeth if you can
If you can't, try to brush your tongue at the very least.
Breath mints/gum/peppermint are literally life savers
Smear on some chapstick. Seriosuly, do it, you'll feel better
Flossing is good for you but I'm going to go ahead and assume that most of you only do it at the dentists and not at home
But! If you happen to have floss, try to do it, okay? It helps you feel a lot cleaner
(I know I just said this isn't necessary, but I'm doing a section on it anyway because some people might want it, and it's not really makeup so much at, like, chapstick)
On that note, if lipstick/lipgloss feels like too much, chapstick. Chapstick is a gift from God, use it
Mascara if you can handle it. I, Keefe Sencen, personally love mascara and eyeliner. Do it if you want, or if you can!
Chances are an actual base or foundation or anything will be too much, so don't worry about it. Don't even stress over doing it.
Try adding jewelry (not makeup, but I'm still putting it).
Just a ring or too. A bracelet. A necklace your best friend gave you when you were a little kid.
Smile at the mirror. Please, smile. I'll tell you a joke to help it along!!
