going back to the "draw without thinking about it being perfect" era

explaining my homestuck au

It takes place in a universe where everyone lives in roughly the same place, The beta kids in particular where at school together, and where very close. Dave dropped out of school and it caused him (and eventually Rose) to eventually drift to not talking to each other at all.

couple years later the beta kids are around 30 years old, Rose works as a therapist, Jade teaches art, John teaches computing engineering for the s1-3s in highschool.

Dave works as a director! And during said 30 years, he adopts a boy who came from a similar household to the one he grew up in. The son is enrolled in school, and (cliche time) his favourite teacher, is his head of house, and computing teacher, "mr egbert"

Dave and John meet again after a parents evening, and they have dinner with Rose and jade (the first time anyway) before they're going on dates alone, causing the image above.

Idk it all came to be in a half delirious state completely at once, it was tweaked a bit but yeah

BTW im still at act5 so this's only of what i know about them (yes im slow don't judge me😔)

For that one ask before, some of my Humanstuck headcanons! I tend to encompass a lot of different ones since people have such great ideas, so a lot of them are pretty interchangeable. A lot of my main hcs revolve around the characters I play, which I'll probably be making more posts involving them later! For now there's the Vantases.

One of the hcs I adore are the family ones, like where the Signless and Disciple meet each other after Kankri and Meulin are born. They have Nepeta and Karkat together! The Maryams also act like siblings to the Vantases and Leijons, but are more like childhood friends due to the found family aspect the Dolorosa and Signless have.

There's so much to discuss though! I love love love Humanstuck stuff
