Time for some new artwork~! I’ve been working on a group collaboration for @the0wlchemist ‘s group project: A tarot card deck full of all of our OCs! These are the six that I’ve made so far. 

The first two characters are @the0wlchemist ‘s OCs Polaris and Void for the Star and Death cards respectively. The other four are my own OCs. Delilah as the Empress (an OC for Crescent’s world), and my Zelda OCs for the minor arcana: Kova as the Five of Swords, Sukari as the Six of Swords, and Konda as the Ten of Wands.

I finally made some full-body references of my OCs, Konda and Sukari~! I’ve been writing up a fanfic with the two of them, Finding Our Voice. Join the two of them on a journey outside of Hebra for the first time. As the first Rito out of the region in a century, they find themselves face-to-face with many hardships that they must overcome together. Before they realize it, their simple plan to flee their homeland soon turns into a quest to reunite the Rito with the rest of Hyrule before the Calamity has a chance to strike...

Time for something a little different than AHIT! I’ve been on a huge Zelda kick lately, and as such I’ve been inspired to write my own fanfiction on AO3, Finding Our Voice. It follows Konda and Sukari, the two Rito above, in Pre-Calamity BOTW, escaping their homes and starting a new life out in Hateno, but that one move starts a chain reaction that ends up shaping the future for relations between the Rito and the rest of Hyrule! Also fun fact: Konda’s original creation was as a Zelda AU of the Conductor, but I ended up changing him up to make him his own OC! (The same goes for Scarlet/Sukari).

For anyone who saw my picture of DJ Grooves and the Conductor that I uploaded a while ago, these are a few of the individual frames that are hidden in the film reels in the picture! This is also the main reason why the picture took a while for me to finish. Nearly every frame was drawn as its own picture and then added and cropped accordingly. I had a lot of fun messing around with lighting effects on these pictures! 

Hands down, Battle of the Birds is my favorite chapter in this whole game. Which chapter was your favorite?

So I’ve got a RP blog for the Conductor, and in order to develop his character I had to give him a wife. ‘Cause, ya know, those babies had to come from somewhere. Now that I’ve made her and have been thinking about the relationship they would have had I just... can’t stop thinking about it shdjkfhlskfs

DID SOMEONE SAY AU’S???

This spawned from an AU I’m writing with a friend over on my RP blog, and is the exact reason you should never hand me AUs. Because I will start doodling and never see the light of day again. 

This is an AU that takes place after the fight with Mustache Girl. When Hat Kid turned back time to change the world back to normal, the Conductor didn’t revive with the other characters. She bends the rules to bring him back, but (unknowingly at first) turns the Conductor into a time paradox, who now exists and doesn’t exist at the same time. The Conductor has retained all of his past memories, but every trace of his existence on the planet has been completely erased, to the point where Hat Kid is the only person who remembers him or who he was in his past life. As the days go by, Hat Kid and the Conductor slowly begin to realize what’s happening in this altered timeline and how much it’s changing who they are.

The idea’s not totally fleshed out yet (we just made this not too long ago) but I was so in love with the idea that I had to make up a concept art doodle for it~ Hope you like my bird boy in his cool new get-up!

GUESS WHO’S BEEN PLAYING A HAT IN TIME WAY TOO MUCH?

The Conductor is by far my favorite character, and I HAD to doodle him in his little poncho because it looks TOO DANG CUTE. I was gonna turn this into a little washi tape picture, but it turns out Western-themed tapes and scrapbook paper don’t seem to exist, so sadly all he gets is a Copic cutout.

If you haven’t played this game I highly recommend it, it’s so freaking cute and hilarious, and it’s such a great platformer.
