Thank you to the both of you for taking time to answer my queries! I read all the posts that were attached to the link and I've been meditating more often. The spirit/god that you've met seems quite interesting. Can you tell more about his identity, origins and characteristics?(if it's allowed or if you're comfortable sharing) does he know about loa? also, what are some special precautions I should take to not aggravate deities or spirits because I'm not trying to get struck down, you see.

So he is the Christiant/Catholic God/deity but when asked, he said he would be fine/would prefer also being called Mica. A few traits of his is

He has a favorite voice but he still tries to check out different voices for himself (his favorite voice sounds like the narrator from Stanley's Parable but deeper). His voice is loud and he commonly voice cracks which is incredibly funny now that I write about it

He likes songs from any genre but he prefers songs that are vocal based (he once said he liked All too Well until someone sang it one too many times in heaven, now he just doesn't). Whenever those songs pop up, he doesn't sing along but he does hum and compliments the artists voice

When he doesn't like something, he usually says something along the lines of "As long as one of my children likes it, then I will accept it", but he also does a kind of discontented "hmm" or a straight-up no sometimes 😭

He says very very random facts when I'm just doing something throughout the day. "If the United States follows Jus Soli then pepperoni pizza is American and not Italian" or "Humans were actually designed to exist on water but live on land" or "I had modeled Jesus from one of my favorite creations, the lizard!" and no, he just does not elaborate on any of these

He is a confused but supportive man! If he doesn't like what you're doing, he just sighs and makes a comment about free will and how he can't do anything about this

He doesn't have a physical form, he even makes jokes about this. He would often say, "If I had eyes, I would close them and never open them again" or "At times like this, I'm glad I never gave myself a nose". He said he can give himself a physical form but since he's not required to, he simply won't. He said, physically he has no gender but he prefers He for now. He said any pronoun is acceptable for him but he just prefers getting called He

I asked him about his origins before but he simply doesn't know the answer. "One day, I just realized I existed. I think for a long time, I just existed without ever realizing that I did. I will never remember where I began but I know that I will not end at the very least and so I am content with knowing that I am not completely all-knowing", was his answer

He does know about Loa! He's not bothered by affirmations like "I am God" because he knows its in reference to power, not religion. He's aware of the existence of other gods and deities in other dimensions/worlds/realities and he accepts that too

I was watching this kdrama called Business Proposal and like, when a certain scene happened, his voice came on and he sounded SO whiny, "he isn't good for you! Leave him :((" and I fell over laughing, "Don't laugh at me, I'm right :((("

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS YOU CAN TAKE;

> Ask , establish , and follow some boundaries between you and your deity of choice

> As much as possible, be respectful. Some gods and deities understand the slang but they also know when ur purposefully being mean so be respectful as much as possible

> And don't try to anger them on purpose. Christian God is fine with like, playful fighting but don't get him angry. (Or any spirit that is powerful, angry)

!! Thank you for sharing so much :)

Limitless

The Gods are everywhere, you just have to look. They’re not trapped stagnant in the myths and stories, nor in the stale histories of cultures long past. Omnipresent in their own ways, the Gods can connect with anyone at any time.Ā

Athena can be found walking the aisles of a Harvard library, in the study room with a first generation college student, or in between the cardboard pages of a child’s first board book. Knowledge isn’t limited to the elite or the privileged, and neither is Athena.Ā

Apollo can be found in the galleries of prestigious art museums, in the bedroom of an aspiring anime artist, or in the imagination of a child scribbling with crayons. He is on the stage of a sold out stadium as well as in the back row of the cheapest seats. Art and creativity isn’t limited to those with influence or connections, and neither is Apollo.Ā

Hephaestus can be found in the offices of any corporate building, under the machinery of a blue collar factory, or in the joy of a teenager as they receive their first paycheck. He is found in the Paralympics, boosting the athletes onward, and he is also sitting with the hospital and rehab rooms of those recently disabled. Hard work is not limited to anyone’s status or abilities, and neither is Hephaestus.Ā

Aphrodite can be found on the covers of fashion magazines, in the dreams of an hopeful makeup artist, and in the playfulness of a child playing with their mother’s lipstick. Aphrodite can be in the appeal of sexy fishnets or the allure of a well tailored suit. Beauty and love are not limited to one’s gender or skills, and neither is Aphrodite.Ā

Hermes can be found flying alongside the highest reaching airplanes, the fastest driving cars, and on a seat on public transit in rush hour. He is the luck that saves the lives of a vehicular accident, and the thrill in that first payment on a used car. Luck and speed are not limited to how far or how fancy your transportation can go, and neither is Hermes.Ā

Zeus can be found behind the bench of a supreme court case, in the office of an overworked pubic defender, and in the thunderous laughter of a new father. He is in the welcoming smile of a stranger to those in need, and in the homeless being invited in. Justice and hospitality are not limited to one’s power or status, and neither is Zeus.Ā

Hera can be found in a fabulous wedding with hundreds of guests, in the celebration of a long lasting marriage, or officiating the ceremony in a courthouse. She is in the ā€œI love youā€ā€™s before bed, the hands held in the car after a first date, and in the hospital room of an elderly couple saying goodbye for the last time. Love is not limited to the length of one’s relationship, and neither is Hera.Ā

Artemis can be found in the fields and forests of nature, in the calm breath of a hunter, or in the tears of grief for a lost pet. She is the courage in the voices fighting for respect and in the cheer of progress made. Equal treatment peace is not limited to those who hold the power, and neither is Artemis.Ā

Hestia can be found in the jingle of a first-time homeowners’ new keys, in the shared dinner of a multi-generational home, or in the exhausted smile of a single parent. She is the warmth of a household and the love shared within its walls. Family and support is not limited to those you share blood with or in the size of your dwelling, and neither is Hestia.Ā

Ares can be found in the measured steps of a solider over seas, in the joyous tears of a spouse when their loved one comes home, and in the flag wrapped around a coffin. He is in the voices of those calling for change, in the recovery rooms of the wounded, and in the minds of those struggling with trauma. Safety and wellness are not limited to one’s demographics and neither is Ares.Ā

Hades can be found in the grief left behind after a death, in the weight of responsibility of leaders, and in the darkness of winter. He is with those who cry and fear for their lives, and in the scars left behind the pain can be too much. Loss and recovery is not limited to those strong enough to withstand it and neither is Hades.Ā

Persephone can be found in the joy at the first warm day, in the love bridging distance between lovers, and in the will of those daring to strive for their dreams. She is the wonderment of a child at a honeybee, and the beauty found in the darkness. Energy and strength is not limited to the times of light and color, and neither is Persephone.Ā

Demeter can be found in the engines of the machines in a field, in the bounty of a community garden harvest, and in the first sprouts of an amateur gardener. She is the change of the seasons and the rebirth of the new year. Change and plenty are not limited to those with capital or land, and neither is Demeter.Ā

Dionysus can be found on the floats of a pride parade, in the movements pushing for equality, and in the bedroom of a closeted teenager. He is both the euphoria and dysphoria felt by some in their bodies, and in the community embracing those who feel lost. Rights and identity are not limited to those who one loves or how one looks, and neither is Dionysus.Ā

Poseidon can be found on the decks of a ship in a storm, on the docks with a father teaching his son to fish, or in the serenity on a sandy beach. He is the joyful screams of children running from the waves and the persistence in one learning how to swim. Power and possibility is not limited to the oceans and or one’s skills, and neither is Poseidon.Ā

Once again reminding everyone to start their research into the Greek and Roman gods with theoi.com. I cannot convey to you how helpful the translations and (most importantly) vettings are. Yes, yes, Ovid is on there, but it tells you about who said what, what they said, and the time period it was made. From there, you can continue your research and learn more!

i believe that the past, the present and the future are all happening simultaneously at the same time. the you of the past, and the you of the future, are all living in this exact moment. time doesn't exist, it's an illusion. everything that has happened in the past, is happening now, and everything that will happen in the future is also happening now.

and i'm telling you this cause i often have visions and dreams of me meeting my future self, i can see my future home and my future husband, and my future kids as well.

the life of a person is already programmed from the beginning. when you died in your past life, you decided to "sign a contract" with the universe and decided how your life in this lifetime was going to be. you choose your parents, home, fiends, you choose what kind of life you were going to experience, you choose your career and your future spouse.

you cannot escape what's meant to happen, you cannot escape destiny.

i hope you guys realise how blessed we are to be aware of our own power. i don’t careĀ ā€œhow muchā€ orĀ ā€œhow littleā€ you’ve consciously manifested so far, you know something most of the world doesn’t. truly i hope you’re all fully aware that this is isn’t just limited to us being teenagers manifesting beauty and love interests in our bedrooms scrolling through tumblr, this is going to carry you through your entire life. this goes beyond the screen. you’re literally already living somebody’s dream. how fucking lucky are we?

I don’t really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so I’m just calling it ā€œLetter Shapingā€ because you’re using the basic shapes from certain letters. This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creativeĀ way, and that’s what I like so much about this method. There’s a lot of freedom and personalization involved.

(UPDATE: Here’s a link to a guide on how to deconstruct letters down to basic shapes)

Hi! I'm having a spiritual problem as of late. I'm not sure why but my connection to Apollo feels off. Idk if it's just me. I've thought that maybe he's told me it's ok a few times, but I still feel like I can't connect with him like I used to. It's making me sad because I really enjoy having him in my life and I'm afraid that it might be because I'm doing something wrong or I'm upsetting him somehow. Do you have any advice on this or have you experienced something similar? I've also been going to my outside altar and giving him incense and stuff. I'm just not sure what the problem could be.

honestly i haven’t had any experiences like this but sometimes deities need space, just like us humans do.

i’m sure you didn’t do anything wrong, sometimes deities just need some time to themselves.

i’d say give it some time and if things don’t go back to normal for you, that might be a sign that apollo feels it’s time for you to part ways. don’t take it personal, deities don’t always stick around us for a long time, sometimes they’re just here to teach us a lesson then move on!
