i just finished reading ‘scared to live (but I’m scared to die)’ by Major_816, so now I’ve got raven Neil ticking at the back of my brain 24/7

fandom really is a closed circle and this has happened before and will happen again but the past few months there was a bunch of 'lol aftg was so bad' posts and it was exhausting but now ive seen about six posts like actually no aftg was really good stfu and id just like to weigh in and say actually no aftg WAS really good stfu

nicky has such a big heart and prioritizes everyone else over himself and i feel like we don’t talk about it enough. he’s the type of person who soothes the foxes during their panic attacks. he’s the type of person who will leave the only place that truly feels like home behind to go look after two difficult teens. he’s the type of person who will sit next to a crying stranger in the hallway and comfort them however they need (talking, distracting, joking, quiet support) without expecting anything in return

Doesn’t even consider for a second how that will affect the Exy season, just immediately does what he can to make it happen because he needs so badly for Andrew to be better or at least have a chance at being better, even when it might mean Neil loses out on the one thing he has been holding onto (insert Nicky’s speech about how Exy can’t love you back and you need someone to hold onto, this shows how Neil has been holding onto Andrew and how much that has changed his priorities).
