Hi everyone ...

I am Maram Al-Nabulsi, I currently live in the completely destroyed 🏚🚀city of Gaza, specifically Khan Younis. Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family - my father Muhammad, my mother Hiba and my siblings Nour, Maram, Mahmoud - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools🏢📚, no homes🏚, no cleaning supplies, no clothes🧣🧥🧤. Our house was completely destroyed. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble. Imagine: We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times, and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? Misconception about Karamatsu

ok so i plan to make a more in depth analysis about karamatsu's relationship with his brothers individually and as a group, but first i have to get something out of the way

i think what some people need to understand about karamatsu is that, yes, he's a kind person for being able to tolerate all the crap his brothers put him through, but thats also sometimes just how siblings are.

like, if you're an only child or have a really friendly relationship with your sibling, you might not understand. but as someone who has a very totty-esque younger sibling, i totally understand why karamatsu is able to let it slide.

because when my younger sibling insults me or steals my food or uses my haircare or ruins my stuff, for the most part, i don't care. or i guess i can't care. why? because that's just how they are. that's just how it is! if i made a fit every single time something like that happened, i would go half crazy (just look at choromatsu)

i cannot stress to you guys enough that the whole experience of being an older sibling is literally just putting up with various bs that your younger siblings do. you have to let it slide because you're older and supposedly more mature. like, i'm not a saint, i just let it slide because i don't have a choice! that's just how my younger sibling is, and there's honestly really nothing i can do about that.

honestly, if anything, rather than kind i think it displays that karamatsu is mature and takes his position as second oldest seriously. i'm petty, so honestly i'll still argue and insult them back when they piss me off. but karamatsu? kara's as cool as a cucumber. just lets out a mmmm~~? and calls it a day

i'll go more in depth about this on a later day, but this is also why kara is harsher on osomatsu when he's being awful. it's because kara takes his role as an older brother seriously and has higher standards for osomatsu because that's his only older brother.

so yeah this isn't exactly an analytical post, but i feel like i always see people citing the fact that karamatsu puts up with todo and ichi's awfulness towards him as evidence that he's this kind, saint-like angel. but i feel like that's a mischaracterization that stems from a lack of understanding about sibling relationships.

while i do think kara is kind, this more so feels like a heightened sense of responsibility as an older sibling than anything. he's kind of just used to being the bigger person and doesn't care that much anymore (i still think he may care a little, but he's too exclusivematsu to express it). and even then, i don't think he's always consciously trying to be mature about it, sometimes he just feels like it'll be not worth the trouble to complain (pizza skit).

i still think it's a good trait in and of itself, because it's honestly soooo hard to let things slide at times for me, but ultimately...it's kind of just part of being an older sibling.

I can't hold it in any longer... think season 1 Karamatsu's interpretation of Ichimatsu is hysterical

ok so people like to criticize karamatsu for this, because it kinda shows that he has a bit of a shallow understanding of his brothers buuuuut...

i really love season 1 karamatsu's interpretation of ichimatsu

kara's ichimatsu impression is just him acting like a cat and making cat puns. it would make a lot of sense for him to act rude or hostile because that's how ichi acts towards him, but nope, to him, ichi is just a very cat-like, mellow guy.

this also fully explains why he is able to tolerate everything ichi throws at him. have you ever met someone who has an awful cat? have you ever heard how they talk about their cat?

"yeah so snuggles mcgee tore up my couch, gave me this nasty scar, pissed all over my bed, bites me when she's out of food, and never really pays attention to me or lets me pet her... but no omg we love each other to death. sometimes, she sleeps next to me and i really feel the connection. i think the bites are how she shows love. yeah she will scratch you though, so don't go near her or look her in the eyes"

sound familiar?? i honestly think this is how karamatsu views ichimatsu. he kinda just thinks of him as a grumpy kitty cat, and i say this in full seriousness because look at how ichimatsu sleeps in the movie

and then look at how karamatsu imagines him sleeping in the movie (i assume this part at least is his imagination simply because ichimatsu has never been shown to sleep like this ever and this is also NOT how he fell asleep or woke up)

and the thing is, i also don't think that (and i say this with all the love in my heart) karamatsu pays enough attention or is smart enough to fully understand ichimatsu's motives for his aggression towards him (especially bc i don't even think ichimatsu himself truly understands why karamatsu makes him so mad). i think kara would need a third party to explain it to him or at the very least prompt him to truly think about it.

it's way easier for karamatsu to imagine him as this cute little kitty cat because it allows him to write off everything ichimatsu does as just him acting out. he can't help it, that's just the way cats are! it also allows him to believe that underneath all that hostility, ichimatsu truly does love him.

(and he does! ichimatsu loves karamatsu deep down, but it's not as straight forward as karamatsu believes it to be)

because even if your cat leaves your stuff broken

physically harms you

gets you in trouble

ignores you

at the end of the day, your cat will always return to your side

and sometimes, if you're lucky, they may even let you pet them without being scratched!

the thing is though, i don't think this is how he views ichimatsu currently. i think karamatsu has really changed over the seasons and now his view of ichimatsu is more grounded. but thats a post for another day lol

Triple Baka Chiteki ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!

Haven't made an actual render in quite a while so I tried to make one to see if I had become rusty at it. Might be exaggerating it a little but yeah.

This render was inspired by that one post on twitter made by FaskDron. It was around the time where some other person was confused about the characters in the "Triple Baka" video and called Neru "the yellow one". And somehow it resulted in a different trio that was an opposite to the triple baka, called "Triple Chiteki" and consisted of Luka, Defoko and Haku or (in relation to "the yellow one" thing) "the white one".

I pretty liked the concept of the triple chiteki thing. Like for one: "baka" meaning "idiot/fool" and chiteki meaning "intellectual". Both groups consisting of: one vocaloid (Miku/Luka), one utauloid (Teto/Defoko) and one fanloid (Neru/Haku). And YES I know Teto is a SynthV now but I'm from the ancient times where she was just an utau and the "Triple Baka" was also made during those times anyway.
