Bruce, sitting through the mandatory psych eval he created for the Justice League that Clark is also making him take:
Hal Jordan, underlining something on his clipboard: “Name a weakness.”
Bruce: “All of my questions sound like insults.”
Hal:
Bruce:
Hal: “…can you give an example?”
Bruce: “Can you not think of one yourself?”

Bok Su is so special to me and I’m not sure if I can articulate why. I love the girlboss femme fatale murder character as much as the next guy, but it’s refreshing to see a woman take on the role of … how do I describe it? Eyebags, disheveled, the most pathetic wet cat alive and yet manages to yet buy on manipulation and cunning even though no one in their right mind should trust them.
^all these are generalizations. Women villain characters are usually (not always) dealt with differently and —— idk idk
Also her outfits >>>(only one shown here but. Yknow)
Camp Jupiter when Percy shows up:
annabeth taking the knife for percy was peak impulsiveness at that stage of their relationship. because up until this point of the series. if i'm remembering correctly. all of annabeth actions were calculated. even her stubborn actions had merit. but taking the knife? knowing he was invulnerable? but taking the knife? knowing that him watching you cry out in agony hurt him just the same if he had been stabbed? but taking the knife? and then lying on a cot in the glisten of the setting sun? vulnerable and slow? grounding him like he's the one who needed saving? like watching you bleed out is enough to kill him? and touching the small of his back brings him back to life? impulsiveness turned romantic. turned angst. turned 'all the words i didn't say but you heard them anyway'. don't talk to me.
I don’t care what anyone says, Vincent Charbonneau is the funniest character of all time. He got down bad for a guy he knew for a week. He was in a lavender situationship with that man’s ex before he killed her, made her into food and ate his crushes ear then got insulted when said crush called him a cannibal and said he didn’t eat any of his food. The game sets up a twist that he’s eating the employees and that’s why there’s so little, only to reveal that he’s just a really shitty boss. He got jealous of a rat. He gave the guy he had tied up on the floor in the freezer 15 seconds to escape, seemingly just because, then acted indignant and annoyed when he did not get very far. He eats raw lemons and nothing else. What is his fucking problem?
The way Lemony Snicket sat down cracked his knuckles and wrote the most trying, frantically frustrating , anxiety riddled novels back to back coming to ruin my 5th grade recess completely unbothered baffles me to this day.
Can someone write a fic where Bruce is on a JL mission and they somehow get a baby that they need to take care of until they find their parents. And all the JL members just cannot stop this baby from crying (this is before Clark has Jon so he’s pretty clueless with babies still) and eventually Bruce is like, “give them to me.”
And the JL is like “uhh, we don’t know if we should trust BATMAN with a baby, but at this point… fuck it.” And hand the baby over to him.
And Batman tucks the baby into his chest and softly bounces them, talking to them gently in a deep rumbly voice. “It’s okay sweetheart. Shhh, you’re safe.” And eventually, the baby doesn’t just stop crying, but falls asleep.
And the JL just stand there, gobsmacked. Because what the fuck??? Why is the Batman so good with babies??? And the rest of the mission Batman just has the baby because a) they don’t want them to wake up and start fussing again. And b) because Batman looks genuinely happy (as happy as Batman can be without deeply horrifying the JL).
i don’t think now’s the time winnie
i think that percy and annabeth's relationship is so healing for both of them. like, our girl has severe abandonment issues but managed to pull the guy whose fatal flaw is unwavering loyalty. and our boy has severe self-esteem issues but managed to pull the girl who consistently chooses him. i love these two so much.
