Fiddlestan College AU, where Stan enrolled at Backupsmore and became Fiddleford’s roommate? YES PLEASE agghhh what gravity falls did I watch
annabeth taking the knife for percy was peak impulsiveness at that stage of their relationship. because up until this point of the series. if i'm remembering correctly. all of annabeth actions were calculated. even her stubborn actions had merit. but taking the knife? knowing he was invulnerable? but taking the knife? knowing that him watching you cry out in agony hurt him just the same if he had been stabbed? but taking the knife? and then lying on a cot in the glisten of the setting sun? vulnerable and slow? grounding him like he's the one who needed saving? like watching you bleed out is enough to kill him? and touching the small of his back brings him back to life? impulsiveness turned romantic. turned angst. turned 'all the words i didn't say but you heard them anyway'. don't talk to me.
12 yrs old Jason having just been dropped off at Wayne Manor: Do you just take in every orphan you meet off the street?
Bruce: No, you're the first kid I picked up off the street. I picked up my last one at the circus.
Jason: Is that a joke? I can’t tell if that’s a joke.
Bruce: My son's name is Richard, but he insists on going by Dick.
Jason: And he’s…from the circus?
Nooo little Stanley watch out! Your striped shirt, bandage, and sad backstory are too Fallen Human Coded!! The Undertale narrative is going to get you!!!
Did anyone else notice the flowers Da-Jeong and Myeong-hoon wear are white hellebores, which symbolize purity, hope, and ward off negative energy, but are also known to be poisonous and negatively represent "a scandal"?
Adding onto that there's white roses in the arch which symbolize loyalty and purity, and of course love. But also symbolize death and mourning depending on if you're celebrating a wedding or funeral...
And then we have dahlias in the arch too, which represent inner strength, commitment, kindness, and new beginnings. However, they can also represent betrayal and dishonesty.
Just a little something I noticed is all.... (<-- huge sucker for flower symbolism)
It’s so important that tsp is a game that knows it’s a game and it asks you to keep playing it and it tells you that to keep playing it is to torment these two characters but it asks you to do it anyway.
I watched The Morality of The Shadow of the Colossus and it said “you’re involved in it but you’re not Complicit. These things would happen anyway. You’re just re-enacting it” and I feel like the Parable is SOME of that. It wants you to feel complicit but it never really blames you for what happens, except maybe in the potency of the Skip Button. And by that point you have next to no choice.
TSP asks you to play it, knowing the consequences, and says “you can save these two, but you won’t, but that’s okay, nobody blames you. This is how they’re designed. This is how we need them to be, for the game to work. Please, keep playing. Keep making them butt heads. We made them for you.
We made them for you.”
new obsession acquired
“stan had it worse” “ford had it worse” stan got pushed deeper and deeper into rock bottom until he had to start digging and ford got pushed higher and higher towards the stars until he became an icarus. they are two ends of the same rope, tied to form a circle connected by the knot of a living hell
Collection of Rody sketches I don't think I've posted on tumblr yet
