like babe this isn’t us ?? get it together
With the news of TLOU 2 remaster, this is a reminder not to buy it or ANY tlou content. Neil Druckmann is a zionist
and it doesn't matter if he showed support to Palestine in the past by posting stories, in the end he still donated to the IDF and his beliefs are clearly shown in the game.
Additionally, Ellie actor Bella Ramsey has shown support to Noah Schnapp's Zionist statements.
Also, do not watch anything new from Stranger Things and even released stuff.
Stranger Things actor Brett Gelman was giving a hateful speech at the hate march.
Noah Schnapp, also from Stranger Things was seen handing out Hamas is Isis and Zionism is sexy stickers

can you make a lo’ak imagine where its first set when they were kids (like in the flashback scene of awotw) and the reader lives in the lab along with spider, and the people at the lab gave the reader a trampoline to play on, so one day lo’ak and neteyam see the reader jumping on it and lo’ak thinks it looks super fun (and the reader looks pretty) so the next day he comes by and asks to use the trampoline except he has no idea what it’s actually called, but in the end they become super good friends 👍👍

“Bro, remember when we first met?” Lo’ak asked randomly, nudging you.
You looked up and closed your eyes, recollecting the distant memory you had back when you and him were younger.
You then smiled and opened your eyes to look at him.
“How could I forget?”
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You were jumping on your trampoline that Norm gave you for your twelfth birthday, doing mini flips and tricks. You wished that Spider were here, or anyone, honestly, to watch you.
Unbeknownst to you, two Na’vi brothers were watching you from afar.
“What is she doing?” Neteyam whispered to Lo’ak. his eyes glued on your figure.
“That must be some ‘Sky People’ tech,” Lo’ak paused, then muttered, “she’s pretty.”
Neteyam slowly turned to look at his brother with a shocked expression caused from his words. His brother? Having a crush on one of the Sky People? How could this be?
“Brother, that is a human!” Neteyam spoke, a little too loud.
“Shh, you’ll blow our cover!” Lo’ak shushed him quickly, cringing a bit at the thought of being caught.
You continued to bounce, completely oblivious to the scene happening right in front of you. Neteyam covered his mouth quickly, but then eventually spoke again.
“How are you going to approach her?” Neteyam asked curiously.
An invisible lightbulb appeared over Lo’ak’s head, “I have a plan.”
Later that day, you were face to face by a Na’vi male, about the same age as you, with another boy standing behind him. By the similarities in appearance, you assumed that they were brothers.
Nonetheless, you were shaking in fear, tears nearly spilling out of your eyes. You heard stories about the Na’vi, both good and bad. You didn’t, however, expect them to be this tall.
They were towering over you.
“Don’t… don’t hurt me.” You tried desperately to sound tough, yet fear was the only thing evident in your voice.
A twinge of guilt struck at Lo’ak’s young heart before he gulped, almost not knowing what to say. He felt bad for you — you look like you had just seen a ghost.
“We are not going to hurt you,” Neteyam spoke up, “we are friendly!”
You gasped, your mood switching in a heartbeat.
“You speak English!” You said, fascinated. Your eyes were practically sparkling.
Neteyam nodded, excitedly, “My brother came to ask you something.” He nudged his younger brother towards you, Lo’ak stumbling a bit before regaining his balance.
He shot a glare at Neteyam then crouched down to match your height, quickly planning what to say in his head.
Before he could speak, you gasped again, moving closer to him. You noticed the little white dots displayed across his face down to his torso.
“They’re so pretty..” you mumbled, instinctively reaching out to touch them. You ran your fingers across the pattern, your eyes wide in awe.
Fascinated to say the least, you squinted your eyes, pressing on one of the dots then looking at your finger to check if it left a mark. You were distracted, almost forgetting that you were in the middle of a conversation.
Lo’ak, scared to move under your touch, cleared his throat. You quickly took your hands off him, placing your arms behind your back. He was still blushing from your previous actions, but quickly collected himself.
“I… think you’re pretty too,” he pulled a bracelet out of his pouch before handing it to you.
You gently took the bracelet, automatically putting it around your wrist. You examined it carefully. It was made out of woven leather, with pebbles from nearby lakes attached to the material.
Squealing in excitement, you twisted your wrist around to show off your new jewelry.
You then hugged Lo’ak tightly before silently thanking him with a blush on both of your faces.
Once you pulled away, you two shared a smile. It was then he remembered what him and his brother were here for.
“Can I…” he trailed off, realizing that he had no idea what that thing was. You looked at him, confused.
He gave up on trying to find the right words, and simply pointed to the trampoline. You slowly looked toward the direction he pointed to, realization striking you.
“Do you want to play?” You asked, hopefully.
Lo’ak and Neteyam both nodded at the same time, making you giggle.
Next thing you knew, all three of you were bouncing on the trampoline.
“I can touch the sky, look!” Lo’ak exclaimed before bouncing and reaching upward.
You smiled for the tenth time that day, happy that you found new friends to play with.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“You know, now that I think about it,” you looked at Lo’ak, only now realizing how much the two of you had grown since then, “we wouldn’t have met without that trampoline.”
He nodded in agreement, then turned to face you, holding eye contact. You two sat in silence, just looking at each other. You loved this. You loved that you two could stay quiet without it being awkward. You were the most comfortable when you were with him, as he was with you.
“I still think you’re pretty,” he whispered, breaking the silence.
You smiled at his words. He had no idea how much he meant to you.
“I think you’re pretty too,” you said as you brought your hand up to caress his face gently. The action was incredibly intimate, especially for a pair of best friends.
But something, only Eywa knows what, told you that you both wanted to be more than that.
So you continued to caress his face, studying the pattern of white freckles you’ve known like the back of your hand by now. His cheek was slightly grazed by the pebble attached to the woven bracelet on your wrist — the same one you’ve kept since your twelfth birthday.

Part3
“So- uhm.” You nervously try to find a way to say goodbye, or even work up the courage to invite him in like Ochaco had suggested. But the uncomfortable silence remained uncomfortable even after your shaking words filled the space around you. “Did you like the exhibit?”
“I did, you?” You pull your bottom lip in between your teeth, trying not to be upset with the way his eyes hadn’t left his dash, even after he’s asked his question. Did he even care for your answer? “I know you’d been talking about it for a while.”
“I did. Especially the UA section, really takes me back. You know?” An uncomfortable chuckle leaves and you feel heat rising to your cheeks as he still looks at his dash. You were boring him, surely. The look of absolute boredom covered his face the moment you’d slid into his passenger seat 20 minutes ago. “Okay, I’ll uh- see you Monday.”
The cold air whips around you, stinging your already tear stained cheeks as you struggling with your keys at the front door. You were embarrassed- no, humiliated. You spent hours on FaceTime with Ochaco, making sure your outfit and make up were absolutely perfect. You’d given yourself multiple pep talks in the hour before he arrived at exactly 4:30, telling yourself that it was real- it was finally happening.
All for nothing. He paid for your meal at the Cafe, even held the door for you to enter the Museum you’d been so excited to go to. But when the two of you walked through the Hero exhibit, he kept his eyes on the floor and his hands shoved deep into his pockets as you tried desperately to keep a conversation. Unless you were asking him a question, he said nothing and nodded his head to everything you’d said.
Inside your bedroom you have to laugh, even though you wore the outfit he’d told you to- you tried on dozen s of other options and threw them around your room when you inevitably hated every single one. Now not only did your heart feel like a weight in your chest, but now you had to clean the mess you’d made for absolutely no reason. He didn’t even look at what you’d been wearing, much less care.
Instead of cleaning the mess, you shove the clothes still on your mattress to the floor so you can throw yourself into a ball on top of your plush blankets and let the humiliation sink in. You could understand not holding hands, or walking arm in arm- but no conversation? He must’ve realized you thought it was a date and he felt sorry for you and kept-.
Three solid knocks pull you from your self pitty, earning a groan as you wipe your face with the sleeve of your sweater. It had to be your neighbor, who always conveniently ran out of milk or sugar every weekend. You’d offered to buy her extra when you’d go grocery shopping, but she always declined and told you not to worry. As if knocking on your door at 8pm was a better solution for either of you.
“Ms.Lennon, I don’t have any-.” You were rolling your eyes, swinging the door open to scold your neighbor, not noticing Shoto, who stood awkwardly on your doorstep. “-oh. I thought you were my neighbor.”
You notice your purse in his hand, the one you’d left at his sisters dinner, swinging by the strap as his eyebrows pull together. He was staring at you as if you’d grown a 3rd eye in the 5 minutes since you’d left his car, deep in thought by the time you clear your throat. His staring instantly caused the hair on your skin to rise and your stomach to ache in insecurity.
“You’re crying.” He doesn’t wait to be invited in, using his palm to further open the door as you begin to wipe aggressively at the makeup you assumed had streamed down your face. “Is something wrong?”
Was he really this oblivious? Did he truly not notice a single thing that had happened tonight? You couldn’t believe he’d truly been unaware how desperately you were trying to save your ‘date’ and how miserably you failed.
“Did you need something?” You ask, closing your front door. For once you wished it had been Mrs. Lennon on your doorstep. “I’m about to head to bed.”
“I was returning your bag.” The black bag is placed on the table beside your door, right next to your keys that you had slammed so hard they knocked your catch all to the floor. “Why were you crying?”
“I’m not having this conversation right now.” You didn’t care that he followed you, his footsteps pausing once you’ve made it back to your room and into your bed. “Don’t mind the mess, I just- tried a bit too hard.”
“For what?” You were thankful your eyes were closed, otherwise you’d see the disgusted face you assumed he wore seeing your room in such shambles. “For the museum?”
“Go home, I’ll see you at work.” Usually you could handle and actually enjoyed the way things took a while to click in his head, but not tonight. Not when you’d been waiting years for the day he took you on a date, only to expect too much and end up hurt and confused. “I’m sure-.”
“Forgive me for cutting you off, but you’re upset and I’m confused.” You scold yourself for scoffing, but pull your blanket over your head as he continues. “You said you enjoyed the exhibit? Was that not true? Were you disappointed?”
“No, Shoto. I did enjoy the exhibit. It was really cool, and I loved every display. I wasn’t disappointed with the exhibit.” You feel the bed beside your feet dip, and your blanket pull tighter around you as Shoto sits at the foot of your bed. “I’ll be fine before work tomorrow, I promise.”
“Were you disappointed with me?” His question seems to freeze your entire body in place, your fingers that had been twisting around your ring stop, and you swear your heart did to. He sounded upset, maybe even a little defeated. “I apologize if my company was uncomfortable, or if I did anything to make you feel that way.”
“You do not make me uncomfortable, get that through your head.” It didn’t matter that your feelings were hurt, his constant assumption that he made you uncomfortable was starting to dig deeply under your skin. “I’m upset, but you don’t make me uncomfortable- most of the time.”
“So, I did tonight then?” Yes, his silence and avoidance made you want to shrivel up and disappear, but that isn’t why you were upset. “I should’ve clarified, I know you and I had two entirely different ideas of what tonight was meant to be. I didn’t intend for my invitation to make you uncomfortable.”
So it wasn’t a date like you hoped. You were right. Ochaco was probably confused and misread her conversation with the man whose leg had begun to bounce nervously.
“It’s fine, I should have known after all these years you didn’t return my feelings. I don’t want you to feel guilty about my misreading of last night.” Sitting up, you see finally after all these hours, his eyes were on you and they didn’t move. Not even as yours dart to a pile of clothes in the floor. “Despite the fact you hadn’t asked me to be your date, I still enjoyed the exhibit. So thank you for taking me.”
“I feel there is even more I’m not understanding.” His head shakes, but his eyes stay on you. “I did intend for tonight to be a date, I assumed you hadn’t.”
“What?” Now you were confused. Had he never been on a date? Did he not know how antidate he’d been tonight? Who were you kidding, of course he didn’t. “If you intended for it to be a date- why couldn’t you look at me? Or speak to me? I-I thought I misread your invitation and you realized I thought it was a date and you were uncomfortable.”
“I’m not sure, I didn’t think you could see how uncomfortable I was.” A blind person could’ve seen it. He looked like an annoyed father taking his daughter to buy her first bra. Uncomfortable and ready to leave. “Everything went well at the cafe, but I noticed you kept texting someone and got the impression you were trying to find a reason to leave.”
“I was texting Ochaco, not trying to leave.” Now you felt terrible, it was your fault he couldn’t look at you. He thought you were going to ditch him. “She- she’s been helping me. Giving me advice on what I should do.”
“I see.” His eyes leave yours, his head falling to his hands that prop themselves on his knees. Even though you felt ridiculous, you felt relieved. You both were too nervous for your own good. “She’d been helping me as well, which is why I was so confused. She never told me your feelings for me, but I figured she wouldn’t help me if you didn’t have any.”
“How about we get some sleep and we can revisit this later?” You both had to be up early for patrol, and if you had any luck, your nervous thoughts might allow you a few hours of sleep. “We both misunderstood each other, and I feel ridiculous for crying about it.”
“And I feel terrible I made you cry, that’s the last thing I wanted.” His hand leaves his chin, moving to rest gently on your blanket covered knee. The gesture made your heart race, even if you’d been upset 5 minutes ago. “I’m truly sorry I made you upset, I let my nervous thoughts cloud my judgement and I won’t let it happen again.”
“Nervous?” You’d never seen him nervous, not unless you consider his UA smiling fiasco. He’d worked beside you for years, and not once had he ever seemed nervous. “I make you nervous?”
“Terribly. You always have.” Had you heard him correctly? ‘Always’? “I thought after Fuyumi had invited you to dinner and you had Soba with me after work- that maybe there had been enough time for you to be less uncomfortable if I acted on my feelings.”
There’s that word again. Uncomfortable.
“I’ve never been uncomfortable, I’m the one who was nervous. Was it not obvious?” From shaking hands, being caught staring or even this conversation itself, it was clear you were far more nervous than he’d ever been. “Go get some sleep, we’ll talk about this tomorrow alright?”
“If I ask you to dinner tomorrow after work, would you go as my date?” A smile spreads across your make up stained face, he was adorable and you appreciated he’d clarified for the both of you he was asking you on a date. “If tonight was too much for you, don’t-.”
“I’d love to be your date.”

todoroki brother bonding time
Okay hear me out, Eddie nervous on your first valentines day together wanting to make it special and only knowing how to valentines from what he's seen at school and he panics and is very eddie about the whole thing 👀
please my heart almost couldn't take this. i swore nothing over 1k but nervous and panicking eddie being all cute?? yeah i couldn't help myself. this isn't edited, sorry in advance. no warnings, just fluff.
wc: 2.2k
He feels stupid.
It's the only thought ringing through his head as he sits at the Munson's dining table, scraps of construction paper strewn over the worn wood, glue stick drying out to the side and scissors digging into his knuckles.
It had started as a prophetic vision after a few hits from his blunt; it was quickly souring into the most ridiculous thing he’s ever done.
The high had worn off, Eddie had glued his fingers together thrice now (seriously, how was this glue stick approved for children?), and the end product…. Well, he hated it.
The card was tacky. The flowers were uneven. He didn’t even have the willpower nor time to make a full bouquet as he had originally wanted to while under the influence. Pink glitter was now overtaking the trailer, and he’s never seen his uncle look so damn entertained.
“Boy, what on God’s green Earth are you going?”
Normally, the twang of Wayne’s accent would be comforting. But right now, all Eddie could hear was held back laughter choking up his old man’s throat, and a glint in his eye that felt a lot like a taunt, and he felt the farthest from comforted in a very long time.
“Mind your business, old man,” Eddie grumbles, tongue sticking out as he tries to reglue a corner of a paper heart he had cut out, needing it to stick down properly. He probably should have purchased glue, in hindsight.
“Where did you get all this paper?”
“I said mind your business.”
“Is that pink glitter?”
“Don’t you have work?” Eddie huffs, grabbing at the Valentine card he was attempting to salvage, cheeks blushing more vibrant than any of the arts and crafts supplies spread about.
He didn’t want to admit how embarrassed he was. He didn’t want to give anyone else the satisfaction. It was his own damn fault, really – he had offered for your nightly diner dates to be on him one too many times this last month, and entirely forgotten to put away any extra cash to get you a proper Valentine. And this was his last resort.
He’d tried to convince the local florist to discount the flowers missing one too many petals for him, he’d tried to scope out the cheapest cards available at Melvald’s. He’d begged and bartered with every option in town to simply get you something for the day of love, and in the end, he’d simply fallen short.
So now, all he had was a palm full of gritty glitter and homemade items that looked worse for wear.
One of the kinder ladies that lived two trailers down had been happy to offer Eddie some of her scrapbooking papers, throwing in the glitter for good measure, and he still had an old glue stick from when he’d built one of his custom tabletop maps for a D&D campaign. With five hours and a dream, he was now the not-so-proud creator of three handmade paper roses, and a card hardly large enough to fit in his palm.
When he took a step back to look at it all, Wayne was right to be snickering on the couch over it all.
“They’re going to hate it,” Eddie laments, glaring down at his creations, “They’re going to hate it, and I’m going to get dumped on our first Valentine’s day together.”
“Don’t be so harsh on yourself, son,” Wayne tries to genuinely comfort Eddie now, leaning forward to get a better look at his last five hours of work, “I’m sure they’re gon’ be happy that you just thought of the-”
“My life is over,” Eddie interrupts, walking over to the couch to collapse dramatically.
Wayne stops him, however, throwing up a hand, “Nope. You’re not gettin’ that damn pink glitter all over my couch. Go mope in your room.”
After a brief stare-off, a whole ten seconds wasted when Eddie could be wallowing in his self-pity, Eddie does exactly that.
He hopes Wayne is right, for all their sakes. There’ll be bigger things to worry about than just glitter if you really do hate Eddie’s attempt at a sincere Valentine.
—
It takes nearly a full minute of knocking on the Munson’s trailer’s front door before Eddie opens it for you – that’s your first sign that something is terribly wrong.
Your next sign is when Eddie hardly adds any enthusiasm into your welcome kiss, so reserved, as though he might be in a constant state of cringing; a constant state of preparing for the worst.
“Is something the matter?” you ask innocently enough, toeing off your shoes and shifting your bag in hand. You’d picked up a few movies for the night, a variety of cheesy rom-coms Eddie expressed a slightest bit of interest in along with a few more up his alley. A horror film that neither of you had seen that looked to have a budget of $10 and a dream, and Labyrinth.
The latter, you’d both already seen. Neither of you would pass up seeing David Bowie in his full glory, though.
“It’s fine,” Eddie huffs out, still refusing to meet your gaze, “Want me to put on some popcorn?”
You can’t help but light up as you follow him in his rush to the kitchen, “God – yes, please. I also got some sour patch kids, your favorite, and-”
You cut off when you catch sight of the dining room table.
Eddie doesn’t glance back as he reaches up to the cabinet holding the stash of popcorn he keeps around for your movie nights, “And?”
“Eddie…” you slowly draw out in a questioning tone, looking at the mess before you, “What, uh, happened here?”
It’s an explosion of quintessential Valentine’s day. Pink paper hearts, strips of deep reds discarded messily. A shimmering glitter covers the table, and you can’t recall any DIY projects of Eddie’s for Hellfire that might involve that.
“What?” He’s quick to turn around at that, and you watch as all the blood drains from his face, “Oh, fuck, I-” he launches himself back around the kitchen counter frantically, grabbing at any piece of paper he can find, “Shit, I meant to clean this up earlier, I’m sorr-”
“What were you making?”
Eddie pauses all movement, glancing up at you in fear.
You’re not even sure what he’s afraid of. All you can do is furrow your brows, twist your lips, scrunch your nose.
Was it meant to be a surprise of some sort?
He swallows hard, standing up straight as he shifts uncomfortably on his feet, “I….”
When no words follow, you raise a brow, trying to silently encourage him to continue on.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
And oh, he’s such a bad liar. A pretty one, but a terrible one.
There’s no sign of the stellar poker face you’ve seen him wear during Hellfire sessions, no impeccable cockiness to cover up the obvious. His wringing hands draw your attention to his knuckles, all the drying glue and glitter peeling off bit by bit.
“You sure about that?” you press, grin slow spreading as you take a step closer to him, eyeing the mess he tries to shift in front of to block from your sights.
“Positive.”
“Has anyone told you you’re an awful liar, Munson?”
“I’m not ly-”
You scooch around him effortless, dropping your bag in the process and making him yelp out as he tries to catch you. His arms are quick to wrap around your waist as you try to get a clearer view of what he had been so desperate to conceal, but even his best efforts can’t stop you.
It’s all a bit childish from the outside. Reckless giggles, flailing limbs – even Eddie is smiling in his panic.
“Let go of me!”
“Then leave it alone!”
“I wanna see what you made!”
Each screech between the two of you is overcome with laughter as he pulls you flush to his chest, caging you in and yet failing to cover your eyes.
You spot what he was trying to hide, and all attempts to escape his hold cease.
“Are those…” you start, a little breathless as you stare in awe. You swear, you could burn up from the warmth blooming in your chest. When his arms go the slightest bit limp, you have your answer before finishing the question, “Are those for me?”
A small jar, one that had once held some of Eddie’s pick collection, now holds three handmade paper roses. Mingling petals of two different shades of red, with tightly rolled pieces of green paper servings at their stems. Two even have leaves, cut jagged and true to nature.
Leaning against the small paper flower display is a card.
It’s a messier ordeal than the flowers, but you’re still prying Eddie’s forearms from your stomach in a rush to grab it.
“Hold on,” he rushes out, no longer laughing as you get a hold of the card, “Wait, listen, I can explain. I just- I spent most of my money when we went to Benny’s for shakes last week, and I forgot I wouldn’t get any more cash before today, and I just-” he’s stumbling over his words, a mess of flying hands and wide eyes as you turn to face him, “I… I’m sorry, okay? I swear, they’re just placeholders until I get you a real gift for Valentine’s Day.”
You’re hardly listening to him as you look down at the small paper, folded over fairly impressively to mimic one of the fancy cards from Melvard’s. It’s thinner, sure, but you’re mesmerized as you trace over the heart cut out of the center. It’s filled with pink glitter that clings to your fingertip as it passes, and you can’t help but let out a small laugh.
And then you open the card.
The outside was plain white save for the heart, but the inside is gorgeous. Hand drawn vines and flowers fill the empty space inside. Roses, mums, lillies – every flower you can think of is amongst the bunch. All etched out in ink, an ink you recognize from Eddie’s favorite pen, and every gentle line sketched out to make the larger picture sends your heart racing a few beats faster.
Underneath the glitter heart is a large bee, made with a speech bubble.
“Placeholder?” you laugh breathlessly, biting your lip to stop from smiling like a fool. “You call all this a placeholder?”
Bee mine?
It’s so cheesy, it aches.
Written in makeshift cursive, not quite as neat as it could have been, but clearly a valiant effort from the shy man standing before you. You can’t fathom how he’s embarrassed about this when you look up at him with fluttering lashes and a chest full of fizzling love.
“I thought you were going to hate them,” he hoarsely whispers as he reaches a hand to the nape of his neck.
“Hate them?” you repeat in disbelief, turning your attention back to the handmade flowers. “In what fuckin’ world would I hate these?”
You lift one of the roses from the mini jar, and sniff it on instinct. It should only smell like paper and glue, but it doesn’t – Eddie’s obviously spritzed his cologne onto the flowers.
The miniscule detail has your heart bursting.
He’s still petrified as he stares at you, shrugging hopelessly, “I just know it’s our first Valentine’s together, and people usually go all out-”
“This is going all out, Eddie.”
You can’t imagine being capable of any more love for the boy in front of you. Genuinely – you don’t believe your bones could handle the weight of it, that your heart could take it. You’re filled to the brim with it, buzzing like summertime cicadas beneath your skin from all the vibrant emotions you have for him. For every blemish across his skin and every kink in his curls, for those big brown eyes simply staring at you now. Those knuckles covered in glue and glitter. Those lips that you can’t handle another second not kissing.
And so you don’t. Not another second is wasted as you fling yourself forward, nearly dropping the paper flower in hand as you grab each side of his face, bringing him to you in a hard kiss.
You hope he feels all that love. You hope the weight of it presses down on his shoulders, even if just a little, so he gets it.
“I fucking love it, Eds,” you laugh into the kiss, pressing your forehead, “I- Honestly? I think this is the nicest Valentine I’ve ever gotten.”
“Really?” his eyes pop open, pulling back from you slightly until you simply won’t allow it. You want him close – you need him pressed against you. “Well, shit. I thought you were going to hate them and break up with me.”
“Me, breaking up with you? After this?” you parrot back in disbelief, shaking your head, tip of your nose rubbing against his through the action, “God, you’re an idiot, Eddie Munson. My idiot, but still.”
He finally cracks a smile, and you lose yourself in the dimples that appear as he asks, “Does this mean you’ll be my Valentine?”
“Absolutely.”
Thank you !! I'm happy you liked it! <3

"Hi" he said simply. As if we were speaking to each other for the first time, but in the same tone with which one greets an old friend. It was ironic how I wished for weeks for him to come and talk to me and when he finally did, all I thought about was running away. He hadn't changed. And so much the better. He was still so handsome. Today, he wore a white shirt and a kind of jeans in a shade between dark gray and black. After taking a brief tour of his outfit, I look up at his face: the most beautiful part of his person. His frizzy curls looked fresh, as if he had just washed them. This thought was confirmed by the smell of shampoo that came to me on a light breeze. His cheeks were tinged with a pale pink that highlighted the small and discreet freckles that sported his cheeks. His gaze escaped mine, watching the floor with a strange and sudden interest as he pressed his lips together in a thin line. He was embarrassed, no, dead of shame. After all, I still hadn't answered him. I've only watched him so far. And I surely would have continued if I hadn't noticed his shaking hands.
What am I supposed to say to him? I greet him too, I compliment him? I ask him directly why he came to talk to me? After all, the only times we had spoken was to get him to tutor me. Are we even friends? After he stood me up without any explanation, approximately two weeks ago now, we haven't spoken to each other since.
“Hi” I simply replied. Ethan scratches his cheek as he smiles nervously at me, his gaze flicking briefly above me to look behind me. The redness on his cheeks getting worse.
“You uh… Your classes, how are you doing ? I… Like, you're good ?”
To be honest, it wasn't. Which is the main reason as to why I was asking him for lessons, by the way. So he knows all about those four out of twenty that I love so much. (Wrong, I hate them, I just don't have the IQ to have more) How handsome he was. Earlier this year, I had this fantasy where Ethan, who I hadn't spoken to at the time, came up to me and asked me out. Later, having learned about his shyness, I dreamed of seeing him overcome his bashfulness to come and declare his love for me while stuttering.
"I manage. And you ? Are you able to follow the program?
Of course he did. We are talking about Ethan Landry, the best student in the whole establishment. He succeeds in everything. Except talking to people, it seems. For the umpteenth time now, he glances over my shoulder. His eyes alternated with bewildering speed between my face and what was behind my back. Finally, I turn to see the only person in the hallway besides us, Chad, watching us with a big smile on his face and thumbs up. He lowers his arms the second my eyes notice him and he puts his hands in his pockets, pretending to turn around.
"Isn't that Chad?" I knew it was him, Ethan's best friend. But I just wanted confirmation.
-N-no aha, it’s… I don’t know who… It’s not Chad.” His laugh was forced and it showed. He was staring at the ceiling, shrugging and laughing nervously. Too smiley to be true. If he weren't already incredibly uncomfortable and flushed, his friend's intervention would have caused him to be.
"Why did you come talk to me Ethan?"
Our last discussion was two weeks ago. We had seen each other on Tuesday for my private lessons and it had gone incredibly well. He had scheduled a session for Thursday, of which I was counting every second until D-Day. I was smiling just reading our messages over and over again. Then Thursday arrived after an endless wait. I headed for the library, as usual. My smile glued to my lips, impossible to remove. I was on cloud nine. But Ethan was late, yet he had never been with me. I waited and waited and waited but after an hour and a half I left. He hadn't sent a message, nothing. Since then, not a word has been exchanged. In the hallways, not even a single look had been shared. We walked ignoring each other, like strangers.
"I'm sorry.
-For what ?"
I had some idea why he was sorry but I didn't want to get my hopes up. His eyes water, he opens his mouth but no sound comes out. Ethan extends his hand towards me which I grab by reflex. To be honest, he was starting to worry me. Was he really going to cry? Was it because of me?
“Ethan, are you okay? I forgive you if this is what bothers you so much but please don't put yourself in such a state. Do you want me to walk you home? I'll tell the teacher that you are not feeling well.” As I said that, I adopted the softest voice I could muster.
The curly man holds my hand, he intertwines our fingers together. His tears finally running down his cheeks. A few tears escape him.
“No… he almost sighs.
-'no' what ? I ask, worried.
-I'm not feeling well…"
My concern increases considerably. Forget him which stood me up. His state is much more worrying. Without really thinking about it, my hand rests on his shoulder. I start guiding him to the exit but he seems to realize it. He plants his feet on the ground, shakes his head, then grabs my hand resting on his shoulder.
Ethan was keeping me here.
He raises his angel eyes to me. He was so handsome. His pupils were glowing. The boy opens his mouth but nothing comes out. Frustrated, his tears seem to intensify. He lowers his head, his beautiful curls falling in front of his eyes that I love so much.
"Ethan, you can tell me anything."
I was hoping he would open up to me a bit more. We were close, certainly not like best friends, but I considered myself loyal enough not to snitch his problems to everybody. Plus, I wasn't lying. He could tell me anything, I will help him as best I can. Ethan runs his thumbs over the backs of my hands, a slight smile on his lips. For a second, he seemed at peace.
“My love… he whispers and I almost thought I was dreaming.
But this peace does not last
-What ?
"I..." His lips quivered.
Did he really call me 'my love'? My heart was beating wildly. He sniffles and tries to swallow back his tears, to no avail. Finally, Ethan snaps.
“I…I can't sleep anymore, I can't do it anymore! he exclaims between two cries. Every time I close my eyes, I see your face. I miss you, I want to continue to give you private lessons, even my homework if necessary. I'lldo them for you. Everything, I'll do everything for you…” he had spoken so quickly that he was out of breath. His tears had not stopped, quite the contrary. He had let go.
His sudden outbusrt make me retreat for a split second. The curly man's hands squeeze mine tightly, as if to keep me from moving further away. I don't understand, my absence has affected him so much? Why didn't he come talk to me sooner, then? And since when does he feel that way about me? His words were excessive and I thought he was going a little too fast. He was so desperate that he saw my face all the time? That he was willing to do 'everything' for me? I thought that my crush was not reciprocated, worse, than he considered me as a simple classmate. If I expected that! But where does this outburst come from?
“Breathe Ethan, breathe.”
Like a child, Ethan nods. He tried to calm his breathing while I tried to slow my heartbeat. I knew Ethan hadn't had a lot of conquests in his life, but I never would have imagined him to be so dependent.
"I'm sorry, really sorry...
-Why are you apologizing?
-I left you alone, I swear I haven't forgotten you. I've been thinking about you all the while i was doing it...
So he was really apologizing for that. But why is he making a fuss about it? I had already imagined this scenario and honestly, I expected an apology, a justification and that was it. Why was he so affected? That guilty? His words got mixed up and in the end, I lost track.
- It's okay Ethan, it's not that important. Is that what stresses you out so much?
- What can I do to make you forgive me?
-Ethan, I already told you, I forgive you, it doesn't matter.
-No, he shakes his head, tell me.
Feeling that if I didn't take matters into my own hands the situation was never going to end, I decided to ask for a simple favor.
-Where were you that day? I ask, alluding to the day he stood me up.
-That's stupid." Despite his words, I give a nod encouraging him to continue. Promise me not to be afraid.
-Why would I be afraid of you Ethan? I ask, laughing softly. He's an angel, how can you be afraid of him?
-Promise me."
His fingers gripped my wrist tightly. It almost hurt me. For a moment, the thought that indeed Ethan could scare me crossed my mind. However, I thought of it too late.
-I was supposed to be only ten minutes late, and I apologize for that, but you had to be outside your room for me to get in it.
-What ? I ask laughing, not understanding where he was coming from.
-When I got in your room, there was a perfume that was not yours. But I had already felt it somewhere, on someone. And… I-I'm sorry that pissed me off and… I-I thought you were cheating on me and I was scared and… I cried but I kept smelling the perfume of that-
-Ethan, stop here, I don't understand anything. What are you talking about? I was no longer laughing, the strange details he gave me seemed too precise.
His tears flow, without warning, he takes me in his arms and presses me to his chest. He hugged me tightly, I almost couldn't breathe. His face plunges into my neck, which he was soaking with his tears. He kept saying he was sorry over and over while I tried to understand. Was he telling the truth?
-I felt so guilty for hurting them that I didn't dare come and talk to you. I was terrified that you would run away from me when you eventually find out. It was horrible. Never again. Never part from me again, I beg you. I'll die of it.
I felt his every word knock against the skin of my neck. He was whispering, as if telling me a secret. And maybe it was. I was praying that another student would come down the hall and see us but the odds were low, very low. Ethan had cornered me at the end of my class, everyone had left. The sun was already falling asleep outside the window. Panic quickly set in within me.
-Ethan you're crushing me! I wasn't even sure he heard me since buried in his chest, my voice was muffled.
-I thought you were cheating on me b-but… I’m sorry for thinking that, sorry sorry sorry sorry...
What did he do ? Who was he talking about when he said “having hurt them”? Where is the shy Ethan who softened my heart? Unconsciously, I start to shake. My arms try to tear themselves away from the grip he had on them but he was crushing me too hard; I couldn't move. His arms clung to mine along my body.
-I should never be mad at you again, ever again. Do you forgive me ?
That's when it comes back to me; the framework. Coming home the evening of the day Ethan and I ended our relationship, my frame was splintered to the ground. The shards of glass had been flying all over my room. The photo remained intact; a picture of me and my roommate, but the frame was dead. I hadn't given more importance than that to the situation itself, my window was open and then said roommate was at home during the day. I just thought that a draft had knocked it down or that my friend was clumsy: it happens after all.
No, it was him.
-Ethan, I speak in a shaky voice, please let me go.
-No ! he yells. You promised me ! You promised me you wouldn't be afraid of me!
-E-Ethan please….
- I'm sorry, i'm sorry !
Ethan, six feet tall, collapses to his knees in front of me. He buries his face in my stomach, his arms wrapping around my waist. He speaks in my skin, muttering countless excuses and promises. Immediately seizing the opportunity, I grab him by the shoulders and push him with all my might to the ground. Surprised, he let me go. His back hits the floor, he lets out a plaintive moan mixed with his cries. Without thinking, I turn my back to flee. But Ethan is strangely fast. He gives me a powerful kick in the shin which in turn makes me fall on my stomach.
Ethan is crying. His cheeks are drowned in tears and red. I don't find him as handsome as before when he slightly pulls up his t-shirt to pull a knife out of his pants.
"Why are you doing this to me ?" he growled, his face lowered to the ground. So far, he's let it go. But there, his energy had changed. He was a murderer.
I crawl on the ground, moving away from him, my eyes filled with terror. I will die. I'm going to die here, alone, killed by the boy I loved. Ethan towered over me, taking small steps towards me.
“I'm begging you…” I cried.
I was desperate, there were no more solutions. I thought, as I disappeared, maybe Chad would figure out who my killer was, since he was the last one to see me other than Ethan.
"You told me you wouldn't be scared..." he pouted as he crouched down on top of me. Afterwards, his actions keep surprising me as he sits on my pelvis. He had fun bringing his knife to my neck and caressing me with it. The coldness of the metal makes my hair stand on end and shivers appear all over my body.
"Ethan, please take that away from me... yelling at him wouldn't get me anywhere, so I was begging.
- No, don't be afraid. You know very well that I will never hurt you.”
His promises, I wanted no more. I wanted him to leave me alone, forever. My hands were free, yet I no longer controlled them. They were completely flat on the ground. I couldn't lift a single finger.
“Do you want me to prove my devotion to you? the curly boy points the knife at him.
The sharp tip of the weapon is now to his throat. Ethan looks at me and smiles. His free hand lay comfortably flat on my chest, holding me firmly to the floor. The vision unfolding in front of me was horrific. I was praying that he wouldn't be able to take his own life in front of me, on top of me! I didn't want to see it though, my eyes refused to look away. I was terrified that he would plant me without warning.
- You love me too, right? he asks, stroking my cheek with his thumb. Tell me that you love me. You love me so much, my love. You love me so much you're ready to die for it.
-Ethan listen…
-Answer." he orders.
The roles had switched. He had given me a position of superiority, adoring me, throwing himself at my feet for even a pardon, but he was sick of it. And now not even my pleas will reach him.
“Imagine how romantic that would be, huh? May the students meet us tomorrow morning, both dead and entwined. It would be wonderful.” His smile was that of a sick man. What more do you need, my death? You want me to stick this pretty little knife in my heart for you? That I tear it down and give it to you as an offering? Come on, tell me you love me. I know you do.”
Finally, I manage to close my eyes. His description had managed to repel me enough to allow my brain to kick in the survival instinct. Ethan laughs mischievously. I feel him move, all his weight crushing my body. His lips settle on my neck for a second.
“You want me to kill myself, huh? I'll kill myself because of you. All because you don't love me. How can you be so selfish? he kisses my cheek. Tell me you love me, my love. I need it. His thumb passes over my eyelid gently, making me open my eyes.
I knew I was stuck. He was one step ahead of me, physically and mentally speaking. He had me stuck. My eyes were red and swollen.
-I… I love you… I whisper, choked cries leaving my mouth at the same time.
-Where is my first name, pretty ?
And to think that I was dreaming of saying those words to him a few minutes earlier.
-I… I love you Ethan… The curly man's face lights up, a gaping smile erasing his crazed expression.
- There, it was not so complicated now, was it?"
That was my first story in english. please do not hesitate to gives me advices whatsoever, like if you think that the plot was too quick, ethan too out of character, not enough details, everything ! I hope you liked reading it anyways.
Beautiful
Soft as Clouds
Neteyam x F!Reader
Summary: You weren't well known in the clan, and when you become friends with Tuk, no one believes her.
Warning: Straight up Flufff
When you were growing up, you found yourself wanting to linger in the background more than insert yourself into the everyday activities of those your age. Like now, you were currently lounging in a tree, eyes facing up at the clouds as they moved by at their own pace.
You were a gatherer for the clan, not that anyone knew. You would rise before the sun to go out and gather the sweetest, most bountiful food your clan had ever tasted, leaving it in the baskets by the main fire circle. The fruits were always plump and juicy, herbs and spices nicely placed in pouches for easy access.
You wanted to begin early to end early, opting to stay out of sight of others. Now, some knew of you, the elders for example always took a small notice on how you were much more reserved than others your age. Your parents of course knew you, but you were a failure of a child in their eyes. At your age you should've been chosen for a mate, or made a mark on the clan in some positive way, but you didn't, so they turned their attention to your more 'promising' younger siblings.
You never cared, preferring your more modest lifestyle of peaceful serenity.
"Whoa! What are you doing up there?"
But Great Mother had other plans for you.
You gazed over the side of the branch you were currently laying on, brushing your hair that had fallen into your eyes away, spotting a young girl in the forest floor below you.
This was not just any girl, oh no, this was Tuktirey, Toruk Maktos youngest child.
You let a small smile slip on your face as you slowly began a decent, swift and agile, like that of a cat.
You knelt infront of her, your eyes meeting hers that were still so full of child like wonder, "what are you doing here small one?" Tuk giggled, looking side to side as if looking for something, or someone.
"I was following my brothers, but I guess I got lost," Extending a hand to Tuk, "Well, let us get you home then," her small fingers wrapped around yours and you both began your walk, going back down the path you had made from the times you ventured out here.
Tuk couldn't help but wonder why she had never seen you before, yet she thought you were very beautiful. The aura that surrounded you was so soft and peaceful, it made her feel instantly safe.
"Why do you come out here, it's very far from home? Are you a hunter or a gatherer? Your hair is very pretty, can you do mine like that? Wait! What's your name?" Tuk rambled out, skipping beside you. A chuckle escaped your lips, you liked Tuk, she was very silly.
You stopped and knelt down beside her, her yellow eyes stared into your soft green eyes and she couldn't help but think you held the forest in your eyes, "My name is (Y/n), I much prefer to gather, and I think your hair is fine just the way it is, simply because it's yours,"
You couldn't help but boop her nose, her nose scrunched as she let out a laugh. You smiled, "now, what is your name?" Tuk felt like you already knew, but she puffed out her chest proud, "My name is Tuktirey, but you can call me Tuk!"
"Such a pretty name," you gasped, standing up and resuming your walk to the village. Tuk swung your intertwined hands back and forth, both of you finding comfort in eachother.
When you had finally happened upon the village, you could hear everyone in a state of panic. Tuk groaned, her ears pinned back, "I think they realized I was gone," you knelt beside her, both of you hidden just out of sight with the plants, "then maybe you should appear,"
Tuk hugged you, you wrapped your arms around her to return the embrace. "Will I see you again?" She asked, pulling away enough to see your face.
"Of course, I quite like you," you smiled, slowly giving her a nudge to the panicked clan members.
When Tuk had emerged out of the brush, the panicked cries turned into one's of relief and joy. Many ran over to embrace her, but by this point you had already vanished without a trace.
"Tuk! Where were you, we were worried sick!" Jake exclaimed, sweeping his youngest into his arms and giving her a extra tight hug. "I tried to follow Neteyam and Lo'ak but I got lost, but it's okay!" Tuk laughed, "I found (Y/n) and she helped me get home!"
Jake and Neytiri exchanged a look, as did some of the other clan members. Your name was no familiar, almost positive there was no one in the village who has that name.
"Tuk, what are you talking about?" Neytiri wondered, taking her child from her mate and settling her on the ground in front of her, "There is no one named (Y/n) in the village," Neytiri began to examine Tuk for a head injury, but Tuk pulled her head away in annoyance, "I know what happened, (Y/n) helped me, she's right,"
But when Tuk turned around to where you had been, you were gone, "she was right here," Tuk cried, but her parents chalked it up to fatigue from being lost all day.
"Come, you must eat and rest," Neytiri pulled Tuk along by the hand, which Tuk did almost sulkly, glancing back one more time to see you emerge and give her a wink before disappearing behind everyone's backs. Tuk grinned, now happily walking with her Mom.
~.~
Weeks had passed and Tuk now snuck off any chance she had to find you, sometimes waking up early to join you on your gathering. You were like another big sister to her, you were so soft and gentle with her, it almost reminded her of her own mother. You would show her the best places to gather fruit and herbs, show her how to move silently through the forest so not to disturb it.
In return, Tuk gave you simple companionship. You always thought it was fun being alone, but Tuk gave you a shining light of what having someone around could be like.
When Tuk would return from wherever you two had disappeared to, she would tell her family all about it, now causing Jake and Neytiri to worry that she was making up stories to make herself feel important like her siblings.
"Ma Jake, I'm beginning to worry about Tuk," Neytiri spoke one day when she watched her youngest venture off into the brush before she could stop her, "it is not safe out there but yet she continues to go, we must stop her," Jake could only hum in agreement.
"What's the name of the person she speaks of? (Y/n)? Are we sure she's not a person in the clan?" Jake questioned, Neytiri feeling her shoulders sag in exhaustion cause she had asked any gatherer, hunter or healer she could think of and no one knew about you.
"Maybe we should send Neteyam with her one day? Make sure she's really safe? See what he can find out?" Neytiri fired off question after question, Jake taking her hands into his as he calmed her down, "That's sounds like a great idea, if there's anyone who can find out it's him, come, let's find him,"
They both set off to find their eldest, who they were sure was going to throw a fit hearing about their plan.
~.~
Tuk panted, running up to a clearing where she saw you relaxing by a small pond, toes and feet floating in the clear water. "I'm here! What are we going to do today?" Tuk skipped over, taking a seat next to you as your turned your gaze to her, a smile coating your face.
"What would you like to do?" You asked, Tuks face scrunched up in thought before asking you, "Could we go for a swim next to the waterfall?" You thought about it, before nodding. It was very close to the village, but you were looking forward to spending time with Tuk.
"Awesome!" She cheered, pulling you up off the ground and began the walk, with you giggling behind her.
The water had been very liberating of any stress or thoughts that plagued you. You sighed in bliss, leaning back to float in the water as your eyes gazed up at the clouds, the soft white making you forget everything.
Tuk had jumped in, splashing you and causing a laugh to erupt from your stomach as you flipped over, watching the young girl giggle and continue to splash you with water.
You began a water assault back, both of you not even paying attention to how loud you were being which caught the attention of Neteyam nearby who had been searching for Tuk under the instructions of their parents.
"Tuk!" He called, walking into the rocky terrain that held the waterfall where he saw Tuk soaked and wading waist deep in the water, her breath heavy as though she ran for miles, yet a smile plastered her lips.
You were no where to be seen, ducking under the water to find a rock that had caught your eye.
"Tuk, it's time to come home, let's go," he helped her out of the water, not noticing you surface up to your shoulders in the shade of a tree that grew on the nearby bank.
Your hair had rested on your face a little and your shoulders, the shade making your eyes almost glow as you analyzed Neteyam. He was your age, currently training to be the next clan leader and yet here he was, fetching his sister.
Tuk through a glance over her shoulder to see you in the shade, throwing up a quick wave goodbye and taking off in front of her brother.
Neteyam had caught her look and couldn't help but turn back, catching a quick sight of you.
A beautiful, young woman who was lounging in the water covered by shade. Your eyes are what caught his attention the most, but just as quick as he'd seen you, the next second he blinked in shock before opening them to find you gone, the water only rippling from where he saw you, well, where he thought he saw you.
Neteyam was now becoming a quick believer of Tuk's stories.
~.~
Now that Neteyam had caught a glimpse of you, he started to see you everywhere. Although, it was out of the corner of his eyes, because when he would turn to see you, your figure was gone, the place he had seen you now empty or void of anyone or anything.
He had told his parents that he didn't see anyone with Tuk, but that was only because he feared how crazy he would sound. Seeing someone who wasn't entirely there and then them being gone the next second. They'd send him straight to the Sky People for evaluation.
Neteyam had followed Tuk out of the hut one late afternoon, Tuk turning to him confused since he has never followed her before, "What are you doing?" Neteyam just smiled, playing an act to follow his parents instructions, "Well, I've missed hanging out with my favorite littlest sister," he roughed up Tuks hair, causing her to hiss and push his hand away, "so I figured we could spend the rest of the day together,"
Tuk glanced sideways towards the path, a bit unsure about how you'd reac to Neteyam coming along, "I don't know, you probably wouldn't be up for it," Neteyam raised an eyebrow, his thoughts consumed on what a child would be doing that he himself couldn't or wouldn't wanna do, especially so late in the afternoon.
"Well, if you're sure," Tuk grinned, taking off down the path faster than Neteyam had expected, "Tuk! Wait for me!"
~.~
You had been lounging in a tree again, this time basking in the setting sun's glow. You felt so warm, the lights rays bringing a sense of belonging to your being.
"(Y/n)!" Tuk exclaimed, running into sight as you glanced down at her, your lips showing your usual soft smile that you saved for her.
"Neteyam is following me, come on let's hurry!" Tuk tried to rush you, but you only laughed, "Why are we hiding from your brother?" Tuk felt her cheeks puff up in annoyance, "Come on (Y/n)! I don't want him to find you!" It wasn't often Tuk would throw a childish fit with you, so you knew this must be important to her.
You quickly climbed down, taking her hand and pulling her out of sight just in time for Neteyam to come around the corner. He stopped and took a quick look around, running a hand through his braids aggravated. "Come on Tuk! Mom and Dad don't want you out here by yourself,"
Neteyam continued on through, running right past where you two hid in a flower bush before emerging a minute after he disappeared.
Tuk laughed but quickly stopped when she saw your disappointed face, "I'm sorry," she mumbled, kicking the dirt with her ears pinned down.
"Let's walk and talk," you took her by the shoulder softly, "Is there a reason you keep running away from your family? I understand you want to be friends, but surely I'm not worth worrying your family over?"
You led her down a path as Eclipse began to set in, the forest coming to life with lights and sounds. "Well, I thought you might want to be kept alone, like how you were before we became friends," Tuk answered, but you knew better, "but?" You pushed, Tuk groaning before replying.
"Well, Neteyam has his hunting parties and future clan leader responsibilities, Kiri has healing and grandma, Lo'ak and Spuder go on treks through the forest, I just wanted something that was mine for a while," while a bit childish, you could see what she meant. It was nice to have something all your own, even if it wasn't necessarily yours to keep or own.
Tuk kept her eyes trained on the ground in front of her, hands rubbing together embarrassed. Tuk thought that you would be upset with her, but she was shocked when she felt your hand rub soothing circles on her back as you continued to walk together.
"Do not feel bad, sometimes we wish for things that cannot always be, but if it makes you feel better, you will always be my first and best friend," Tuk felt giddy knowing that you felt the same as she did. You truly were a big sister to her.
"I think it's time we returned for the night," you told her, Tuk nodded, feeling a little tired. "Come," you picked her up, her arms wrapped around your neck and head rested on her shoulder.
You smelled of flowers and mist, a calming scent that soon had Tuk drift off to sleep. Which means she couldn't return to her parents on her own, meaning you had to face the leaders of the clan.
Entering the village, you took notice that many had already gone to dinner, leaving a clear path straight to the leaders tent, where you could hear inside Jake Sully, the Olo'eyktan and Neytri, his mate and Tuks mother frantically asking Neteyam where Tuk was.
You held Tuk up with one arm, softly clearing your throat to make your presence known as you lift the drape, all three coming to a freeze as they saw you, a stranger, with Tuk fast asleep in your arms.
You dipped your head in greeting, eyes over looking the two males and straight to the female who quickly walked to you with fear and concern for her baby. "She is alright, just sleeping," you whispered, not wanting to wake up Tuk as Neytiri gently slipped her from you.
Neytiri nodded a head in thanks, though her eyes held confusion. Your eyes slipped over Jake Sullys form, a small gesture of hello from another head nod before you allowed your eyes to stay trained on Neteyams shocked yellow.
'She is real,' is all Neteyam could think as you both played a stare game, you breaking it off with a soft smile before disappearing. He found the sudden ability to move, dashing to the drape only to pull it back and find you gone, like a phantom.
"I think, that's (Y/n)" Jake mumbled, his mind wracking to find any sense of familiarity of you, but found none. Neytiri felt a small rumble from Tuk, glancing down at the small girl to find her awake and giggling softly, "Told you she was real,"
~.~
Neteyam couldn't get you out of his head, now actively looking for you, but you weren't anywhere to be found. Tuk had told him all about you, and this time he listened, but she wouldn't tell him where you go.
"(Y/n) doesn't like to be sought after, you can only find her when she wants you to find her," Tuk laughed like it was the most simplest thing in the world, but it just made Neteyam frustrated.
He knew so little about you but felt a strange need to be near you, hear your soft voice again and find out more. Call it a crush, infatuation or even obsession, he just wanted to see you again, even if for a last time.
It was only when he took a stroll through the brush on a warm afternoon, that he found you. Only you were laying patch off soft moss, eye shut as you looked at piece with the world.
The world itself seemed to be happening around you, each breath you took was like a breeze from Eywa herself. Insects and small animals passed you by, as if you were just one with them.
Neteyam had approached you slowly, footsteps light as he observed your face. It was beautiful in his eyes, your soft lashes caressing your cheeks, lips parted ever so slightly with each breath you took in. Your hair seemed to flow around you in the vast green foliage.
He was too lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice you open your eyes and look back at him. Your green eyes traced his features as well, taking in the rough yet handsome face he was gifted with. He truly was his mother's child.
