most of these drawings are older than a year now and i still haven't finished all of them π€‘
anyways, these are my OCs for a story idea i had? idk, i've been making up the characters and trying to figure out their story for a year and a half now, i think. which is kinda long for me to still keep with a concept? pretty sure i first started doodling some of these characters before i really got into the furry fandom or picked up beastars. idk if i would ever actually try to publish or post their story in comic or some other format at some point, but probably not? either way, the first drawing is of the main cast and the raven/crow? one is the main character (the crouching character in the second line up is actually a magpie, but their markings aren't visible in that pose) and the last one was a wip page of a sort of visualisation of any couples/more or less romantic relationships, but it's not all of them.
this isn't even all of the characters i currently have for this story, but it's the ones i have photos of right now
new clown dropped ππ (added some detail shots to make up for the tunglr qualityTM)
they continued on until they found a travelling circus, where they observed the clown performances and picked up a trick or more, for an example, they learned how to make humans laugh, a sound that the clowns like to hear!

a few years later they ended up joining another travelling circus in a bigger city and started touring with them through poland, until they had to stop for the night in a big forest :) that night just so happened to be the night when things started to change in Darkwood, directly impacting the clowns. the pierrot ended up unconscious for several years, their limbs tangled in the twisting branches of some particularly dense growing trees, until they were woken up by the gravedigger, who had already made a grave for them, which they kindly refused to be burried in. the gravedigger brough them back to their hut, where the pierrot was able to sort out their thoughts, show the priest a funny little trick with some rags, and then bid them farewell, as they realised their harlequin wasn't anywhere near them. they've been trying to find the harlequin since, which is made difficult by the Being that changed the woods and its inhabitants, as the Being instinctively suppresses the connection between the clowns and leads them away from each other with false signals without noticing what it's doing (similar to how an organic body would close and slowly heal a wound, without the body's host having to focus on it to do it).
the pierrot usually stays away from the villages, but sometimes stumbles upon lone wanderers in the woods. whenever they do, they often try to show the other one a little trick or goof to make them laugh, wether the recipient is a surviving human, dog or mangled beast doesn't matter
(i accidentally almost posted this on the wrong blog and i don't feel like typing the tags again, so here's some extra lore:
the recent noticable interest in moles reminded me that abt 2+ years ago i made a mole fursona lmao
i've been fucking around with procreate and sketching alot of satosugu these past few days
*throws this at u and runs*
this is the gravedigger's half sister, Kasia :D she's a bit stubborn, very caring to anyone she thinks needs it and can barely sit still without working on some project or other.
she's three years older than the gravedigger and her mother was a childhood friend of their father, who divorced relatively shortly after kasia was born (they were still friends afterwards, they just took their time realising they're not in love with each other and that the marriage wasn't working out). two years before the gravedigger's birth their mother moved to the village, swooped their father of his feet and after her death, kasia's mother would frequently visit the gravedigger and their father with kasia to help each other out every now and then.
during the plague, kasia still sometimes manages to visit the gravedigger and check in on them, in between chopping down trees and beasts and sharing some alcohol with casmir or the bike man or anyone else who's willing to share.
she actually manages to get out of the forest in the end and ends up moving to germany, where she eventually starts working as a janitor at a primary school and even manages to get sober after a while. when she settles down somewhat, she decides to learn more and become more involved with her own jewish ancestry and now local jewish community, as her mother was jewish, but wasn't able to share much of it with kasia. the doodle in the bottom left is kasia with her girlfriend in 2019 at pride in cologne :D (her girlfriend's sign says "nazis out", btw)
first one of my second try of [...]tober combining prompts from different lists :D not gonna hold myself to any rules except like, only combining prompts of the same days, crediting the creators of the lists i used the prompts of and posting however much i manage to draw until the end of this year, don't wanna end up stressing myself out about this.
anyways, the prompts were nosebleed (goretober list by Lezi_gal on instagram) and comfort (magpieve inktober by @mossory )
it's october and i've decided to post my inktober/drawtober/whatevertober stuff on here to have more content on this site, to get used to posting on here and to introduce my characters (when i start their story, itll be posted on tumblr first).
i didn't set myself too many rules, other than "combine atleast two prompts of the daily supply from 11 prompt lists", "draw arleast a sketch for each day" and "keep it black and white, unless the drawing calls for extreme accent colours"
for day one it's these prompts:
-ring (official inktober list)
-stars (inktober list by @sarispy56 )
-insects (goretober list by @sarispy56 )
not exactly what was described but,, i couldn't get motivational "hang in there!" poster with simon "little pink skeleton of a man" fairchild out of my head for a few hours until i caved
Cursed thought I just had: Simon Fairchild with a "hang in there!" poster.
Itβs a traditional one where heβs hanging there on a tree, but like the background is just an endless sky. It looks like a painting
(And thereβs a nontraditonal one where thereβs nothing but a vaugely Simon Fairchild shape reaching out into the darkness withΒ βhang in there!β bolded in the sky)
