The piece I did was actually a bit of a combination of two of your prompts which were 

1. any kind of vampire content (vampire-flavoured ghost hunger counts) 2. halfas: now with 50% more body horror!

ok so ive been playing slime rancher and i hadnt finished before i had to see spoilers ( im fine with them as long as im looking for them, and for sr i was)

and so the ending really got me ill explain more below the cut cause

when i started playing i noticed casey immediately and thought oh my person still talking to me (didnt realize they were and ex at first i thought either significant other or best friend ya know) so seeing they werent together kinda threw me off. like as i continued playing i waited for the emails and stuff and as i said in the beginning oh this is my person, so it kinda got me that they werent together and i was not ready for the heartbreak ive wrought upon myself asjkdjfsalkf i wanna cry and it feels really random wtf 

also forgive my lack of capitals and punctuation this actually really got to me

One day a few years ago i adopted a couple of freshman and even after graduation to this day we still talk even if im chronically allergic to texting lmao 

one of my boys just called and had to make sure he knew he was gonna text me at 1 am on my birthday but missed it and then called when he was at work to make sure, im gonna cry (HES ALSO GETTING MARRIED SOON MY BOOYY) 

and on a funnier note i believe the other might just text happy one year older lmao cause this little turd on my graduation day hands me a starlord pin (im pretty sure he was the one who gave it to me, cause one gave me a starlord pin and the other gave me a deadpool one i loved them both) and he hands me the pin and says congrats your old like the little shit he was 

p.s. if either of you have found this the chairs still my favorite even if i have no idea where it is now lmao

ive been browsing through humans are space orcs and i havent seen this particular thing talked about (might be because its a bit more niche but bigones)

what about that thing of where a human will wait to be told its okay to die.

it’s certainly not light but ive been thinking about it cause my papa recently passed away and he waited until my sister (one of the people he is closest with [for example he had issues sleeping if she had to work the night shift cause he’d stay up to wait for her] and he waited until she said it was ok to finally pass.

how would other species react to a spouse telling a spouse its ok, or a commander telling a soldier its safe, or any other variation you can think of.

what would be the reaction of one waiting to be told its ok to die at this point in time? rather than the you need to stay alive?
