I can't believe I have to say this but people are allowed to be uncomfortable with what you depict in media to the point they don't want to interact with you and you don't wanna interact with them.
Someone saying that they don't want darkshippers interact is fine. Someone saying they don't l0l1/sh0tacons interacting with them is fine. It's the same as you saying 'Antis DNI'. It's a boundary.
The only time it's not okay is they are harrasing and sending threats because of what you depict in fiction.
if you are an anti that call proshippers "pedophiles" but you still enjoy any type of content that includes violence and murders then you're a murderer! ♡
“stop romanticizing this ship. it’s toxic and abusive 🤬 people who ship them romanticize abuse🤬” the only thing people will take from your post is that your brain hasn’t developed well enough for you to separate fiction from reality
“fiction affects reality 🤬” by this logic, Hannibal fans are cannibals and people who like horror / slasher films are murderers
“shipping them is insensitive and triggering to abuse victims🤬” by this logic, Squid Game is insensitive and triggering to murder victims and their families, and everything is, one way or another, insensitive and triggering to some people
Me when antis try to gaslight me into believing that darkshipping is harming me
It's important to recognize that proshippers can be predators. An adult sending art of an age gap ship to a minor in order to groom them into a relationship is not unheard of. It is a very real grooming tactic online. Of course, enjoying darkships doesn't instantly mean someone is a predator- but implying that darkship art can't ever be used as a grooming tactic isn't helpful. Predators are in every online space, and it's important to recognize and watch out for the signs. Proshippers are not predators, but some predators are proship.
No anti ever has an explanation for "if you like this in fiction then you like it in real life" and why it seemingly only applies to sex shit
They can understand separating fictional violence and murder from real life violence and murder. They don't think reading about a murderer means you want to murder irl. But reading about incest? You must want to fuck your sibling irl
Make it make sense
