listen, as awesome as a big sonadow confession and all would be, it would be so much funnier if they were just. together. and it was never really acknowledged. they hold hands in one scene and their friends just act like its normal. they start flirting in the middle of a fight but pass it off as shadow being extra snarky. they have wedding rings but they don't bring it up. shadow and tails team up somehow, and tails only asks about things concerning shadow, or his bike, but not how his marriage is going. no one ever mentions them being married or doing any couples shit ever. and whenever we see them talk they're acting exactly the same

i got two tropes i like about them!

1. the whole bit where sonic is conflicted asf bc why is he falling for his rival in a different font?? is his shadow actually a softie too??

2. not only was sonic dropped into the whole black knight dimension, so was shadow. lancelot’s missing (couldn’t come up with anything else maybe shadow actually killed him) and shadow took over his role. blah blah overall sonic rules camelot with shadow by his side to keep up the guise,,, love blossoms over time all that cheesy shit
