Real question. Do the 118 know about what happened to Buck and Christopher during the Tsunami?!!?!

Like they must know the basics, the pier, the fire truck, them being separated.

But do they know that Buck saved other people? Do they know that he played eye spy with Christopher to cheer him up? And turned him away from the dead bodies in the water? Do they know he walked for hours trying to find Christopher? That he was injured will looking for him?

More importantly does Eddie know?!?!!

Cause we see that Eddie thinks Buck lost Chris, but doesn’t blame him. But does he know that Buck jumped into the water after Chris something that was damn near suicide?! Does he know the lengths Buck went to try and get Christopher back to him?!!

Cause we never see them discuss this or mention it?!!

And I need them to discuss this. For Eddie to see that Buck will and always has gone to the extremes for Chris. I need Eddie to realise that he made the right choice in putting Buck in his will. I just… I want them to discuss this (not just Buck and Eddie but all the 118)

The more I think about it, Buck making not one but two jokes about jerking off when talking to Hen about becoming a sperm donor? The more it becomes one of the most casually heartbreaking Buck scenes we've ever witnessed.

The way Buck will use his body to deflect from the vast well of grief and pain that he cannot bear to feel. (And a clever writing choice to have Hen be drunk and also navigating her own crisis, because I bet a sober Hen would have clocked what was going on.)

That he didn't even allow himself to contemplate the ramifications — beyond jerking off in a cup — of giving away a part of himself. Because that's all he is, right? Just DNA, just body parts, just a body. Best he can hope is for his parts to be useful. He can be good at his job and he can take care of Chris if Eddie dies and he can use his body to help an old friend have a family, something Buck's heart desperately wants, but doesn't believe he'll ever get to have.

But he can't think about any of that. So it's just dick jokes. Fucking brutal, 911.

Frustrating editing moods:

1. This scene is a disaster but also I love it how it is.

2. This scene has nothing noticeably wrong with it but also I hate it.

everyone's like wehhhhh why doesn't doctor house gets suuuueeed! like my man. literally every patient he sees is someone that's been trying to find a diagnosis for ages. i could live with a little medical malpractice if it were coming from someone ready to break into my home to look for allergens and not simply half heartedly listen to me before suggesting I lose weight and take ages of back and forth arguing to order a single test
