This is so stupid, but I want to cry so fucking badly just because I’ve gained weight and it makes my stomach look bigger. And I can’t complain to anyone because they’ll say ‘oh stop being dramatic it’s just a little stomach.’ LIKE BITCH SHUT UP!! I have an eating disorder and I’ve been gaining weight, because of stress and I’m not fucking happy. I also hate venting to my mom because she’ll say some cheap bullshit to make me feel better, but it doesn’t and it only makes me feel worse!!

I hate more the fact I was I skinny kid to, but my own aunt still called me fat. LIKE FUCK YOU TO BITCH IM SORRY NO ONE LOVES YOU!!! Ahhhhg!! I’m so sick and tired of having to hear people say ‘ohhh your not fat your beautiful.’ KYS now just shut up.

I look over to Steven as he sits at his computer, but I just lay on the bed we share looking at him with sadness in me. “Steven… do you love me? Or am I a phase?” I ask him bluntly. Steven freezes as he looks towards me. “Oh sweetie no. No, no, no, why do you think something so hurtful?”

He walks to my side cupping my face as I hold back tears. “I… I don’t know… I just feel like you, Marc, Jake, and Layla will grow tired of me.” I sob out. Steven hugs me close, closer then ever before. “No honey no. We all love you, we love you so much we want to see you happy.”

Steven kisses me on the head as he wipes away my tears. “I’m sorry… I’m sorry. I don’t know why I-i just-“

“Shhh- it’s okay, it’s okay love.”

Steven stops me hugging me to his chest and petting my head. “Give yourself a moment to breathe then when you’re ready we can talk. Okay?”

I nod as we cuddle with each other as I slowly start opening up.

dear non-spanish speakers writing spiderverse fanfiction (or anything with spanglish),

in spanglish you don’t switch by word, you switch by phrase.

it’s not:

“[first part of the sentence in english], [second part of the sentence in english], mi amor.”

“[full english sentence], querida.”

it’s:

“[first part of the sentence in english], [segunda parte de la frase en español], mi amor.”

also miles is boricua, miguel is mexican. they have two different accents and use different vocabulary for certain words.

also miles is “nyourican” - a puerto rican native to new york - while his mom is directly from the island, so there are differences there, too, because his spanish is more influence by new york english.

in spanish most words are gendered, so most feminine words end in a and masculine/gender neutral words end in o. adding ito/ita makes something cuter, smaller and more affectionate.

spanish nicknames that aren’t “mi amor”

“querido/a” - darling

“cariño” - dear (always masculine regardless, of who its being said to)

“mi princesa/príncipe” - my prince/princess

“mi rey/reina” - my king/queen

“papí/mamí” - can be used in any way; romantic, sexual, familial for one’s parent or child, or just platonically

“tesoro” - treasure

also spanish is a language that uses adjectives as terms of affection both cute ones and ones that might sound insensitive in english

gordo (fat), flaco (skinny), negro (black), blanco (white), linda (pretty), bella (beautiful), morena (brown skin), etc.

and like most languages that are not english, spanish has multiple ways of saying i love you.

“te amo” - romantic

“te quiero” - familial, platonic (although there’s nothing wrong with using it romantically)

please use this because i have read a lot of really well written things that take me out of it because the use of spanglish is terrible. don’t just go on your presumptions that spanish/spanglish works in the same way that english does.

Moon Knight thing I just thought about:

When the Gods speak through their Avatars (Specifically Khonsu speaking through Marc and Taweret speaking through Layla), the Avatars seem almost like puppets on a string.

Marc looks like he’s in pain, like Khonsu is pulling at his throat specifically, and Layla’s hands seem almost like Taweret is working through having human hands and fingers…

Marc’s moment is almost like Khonsu is still speaking very birdlike, and squawking.

Similarly, Layla’s gestures become very grand and regal, like Taweret’s.

I love acting choices so much.
