Quick Witch Tip! šŸŽƒšŸ•Æ If you are in the Broom Closet but want to add sigils to your Jack-o-lantern, write them discreetly in the tea light base. I’ve written a sigil for protection and comfort in mine. And to make sure no one finds it, melted the bottom of the tea light just for a quick second to seal it to its base. When the light is burned up by the end of the night, toss them away and no one will be the wiser! Be safe the Samhain and have fun!

Ok, Witches! I Gotta Tell You About Meteorological Symbols!

Ok, witches! I gotta tell you about meteorological symbols!

There’s one for every weather condition you can think of! You can probably find a longer list in the back of a dictionary, or just search Google images.

You can use them as sigils on their own, or use them as inspiration to make your own sigils!

Use them for weather summoning!

Use the symbols as a substitute for certain weather conditions! For example, if a spell calls for rainwater and you live in the desert, use the meteorological symbol for heavy rain.

Use the metaphorical attributes of the symbols in spells! For example, a hurricane for added energy, or fog for concealment.

The list goes on!

Sex Kitten tea

I came up w this idea the other day when I bought some cat nip. But basically it’s a sexy time tea

-½ Tbsp mint (I used a mint blend of peppermint and spearmint) -1 tsp Catnip -1 tsp lemongrass

Steep for three minutes or more. I put in some honey in the shape of a heart and stirred clockwise. No kidding, my husband tried to get frisky w me after drinking the tea. I even made a joke about with him after our kid barged in before anything could happen.

Old Gods

when was the last time when you touched the earth?

lowered your head, bent your knees, buried your hands in the life giving grass and rich dirt? close your eyes, listen closely to the rustle of leaves, the song of the wind, the heartbeats of birds. feel the sun on your back, feel as it colours you in shimmers of gold. feel the life around you, never ending and never stopping, old voices singing the same hymn since the beginning of time.

take a deep breath. open your eyes.

you’ll see them.

Difference between a jinx, hex and curse

I felt like people searching my tags would need a little clarification on the difference between a jinx, hex and curse (according to me).

A jinx is a form of malevolent magic where the subject gets bad luck, minor misfortunes. It’s simple, nasty, but isn’t meant to seriously harm someone. Usually only lasts a little while. A hex is a form of malevolent magic, more powerful than a jinx. Lasts longer, and is usually ā€œbrokenā€ when the subject learns their lesson. A curse is the most powerful, and if done well it can last a lifetime or even longer. Can be cast on a person or family, and can last forever or until something is done to atone for whatever caused then to be cursed.

Rain Summoning Spell

This spell is really easy and simple! It doesn’t take much time or setup, so its good for those that need rain in their area or want to help encourage a small storm, but don’t have much time!

Vape, for the smoke. You can also use a cigarette if you smoke. NOTE: Please don’t pick up a cigarette or vape if you don’t already smoke! You can find a substitute!Ā

Cup

Map - If you don’t have a paper map, pull out your phone/ipad and pull up google maps in the area that you want it to rain in!

Rice

Pull your map up or out, and set your cup on top of the area that you want it to rain in. You can use any type of cup or mug, although I prefer clear glass or a copper mug if I have it available, with no stem. Just make sure the cup is well situated over the area that you want the rain in… if you want it in a bigger area a phone or iPad actually works better because you can zoom out.

Think of your intent, and don’t stop thinking of it.

Now take your vape (or whatever you are using for the smoke) and take a drag, and then exhale into the cup so that the vapor gets trapped inside. I wouldn’t exhale too hard, or you may end up causing some crazy wind and/or just blow it all out of the cup. The idea is to get it trapped inside the cup, at least for a small bit! The vapor smoke represents clouds.

Now remember your intent! Take a handful of that rice, and slowly sprinkle it into the cup through the smoke. You can say an incantation here if you like as well. If you want heavier rain, drop more rice! Its adjustable to what you want to achieve. But thats it!

Enjoy!

Reminder, solar eclipse water!!!

If you live in America mark on your calendars that August 21 will be the solar eclipse. It will peak at 2:44pm EST ( do a bit of research to see what you’ll be able to see and your locally occurring time).

I also highly suggest you collect solar eclipse water during this time. Solar eclipse water is good for supercharging spells to give it an extra kick if you need it as well as it works very well for spells involving transformation, change, or release.
