, I am Mohammed Wissam Awad, a citizen of Gaza. I come to you with a broken heart, and I ask you to help me and my family.
I am writing to you and asking for help in any way to restore what the occupation has destroyed since October 7, 2023, so that my family and I can survive the war and save what remains of our lives because Gaza has become unlivable. There is no longer a suitable place to live. There is no solution other than evacuation to survive. Unfortunately, the price of evacuation from Gaza is very expensive!! We cannot bear these costs. There is no solution but to help you by donating, sharing our story, or praying for us.
I am talking to you, and after thinking for a long time before taking this step, but I realized that there is nothing left for us in Gaza after the occupation destroyed all our possessions, possessions, dreams and future... Therefore, I came to you and I am full of hope from you that your donations will cover the cost of survival and Evacuation to a better life..
The occupation destroyed our home and our dreams and moved me and my family to live in tents after ordering and forcing us to evacuate from northern Gaza.
We currently live in a camp in the Al-Zawaida area, and this is the thirteenth displacement since October 7, 2023, and we struggle daily to obtain clean water, food, and the rest of the necessities of life, despite the high prices that make us struggle more to obtain them..
We are 6 people, the number of my families. My father is Wissam Muhammad Awad, 49 years old, and currently without any income and does not work for any institution, and my mother, Ahlam Mahmoud Awad, 44 years old, is without a job now, and she suffers from a benign tumor in the thyroid gland, and its treatment is now not available in the Gaza Strip. Because of the genocidal war, my mother did not receive treatment for more than a year, which made her weaker and weaker. And my brothers: Mahmoud Wissam Awad, 19 years old, did not receive high school due to the war, and this led to the destruction of his future. Nour Wissam Awad, 16 years old, was also deprived of her education and life, and her future was destroyed. Ahmed Wissam Awad, 13 years old, was also deprived of education and was deprived of his childhood like the rest of the world’s children. What is his fault when he wakes up to the sound of explosions? What is his fault for coming into an environment where there is nothing but murder and injustice?!

She has a child named Samar, who was born during the war on 1/10/2024, but this child never received medical care during this war, and it is difficult to provide her with milk and supplies due to their lack of availability. from what i’ve been told by people who have been working in/coordinating aid in Gaza, Palestinian Red Crescent Society, World Central Kitchen, and Anera are unaffected by this order, but everyone has been limited in what they can bring in. while the middle two aren’t medical orgs, they have been bringing in some medicine. PRCS is a red cross affiliate providing medical care.

Hello everyone, I have another campaign to share.
Falestine is married and has a 3 month old baby, and cannot afford to even give him diapers and milk.
She was made to give birth during this onslaught, and immediately moved from the hospital to a tent. Her home was bulldozed by the occupation, leaving her and her family displaced. The tent where they live is horribly unhygienic and plagued with disease; they are next to a public toilet and surrounded by dirt and waste.
Her mother is chronically ill, and her father tragically suffered a stroke. They currently have no way to treat her illness.
In order to evacuate and provide basic necessities for Falestine's family, this campaign needs to raise $40,000 USD. Currently, they've raised $15,172; A great amount, but not enough.
Please help Falestine and her family. Donate if you're able to, and share the campaign. No one deserves be forced to live through these horrible conditions.

I am Mahmoud's wife. Unfortunately, I wanted to inform you that my husband Mahmoud was injured in the head, which caused a skull fracture that descended onto the nerves of the brain and affected the nerves of speech, hearing, and sight.
Mahmoud's condition is very critical and he must go abroad for treatment. He was injured 3 days ago and underwent surgery to clean his head. The doctors are telling us that he needs to undergo a major operation to remove the shrapnel or fix it to the skull bone so that no nerves in the brain are cut off.

Is it not completely insane and mind blowing that a few days ago just marked a solid year of this and we still get lukewarm headlines by mainstream media about how Israel is now ACCUSED of attacking Gaza hospitals (w no actual penalties for it)…. Think pieces by the New York Times that do their absolute best to tiptoe around the subject, if not outright fail to address it…….. and this is most insulting of all but I even saw more than one headline “honoring the memory” of the IOF soldiers who died in a recent attack…… and this all sounds made up but it’s not. Ahmed shared how everything changed for him and his family on October 7. He also mentioned that my dear friend is struggling with anxiety attacks, lack of sleep, and rest. It's hard to imagine how anyone can cope and carry on with life when everything has changed for Ahmed. Here are some details about Ahmed's situation: He is 29 years old, currently living and studying in Belgium. Yesterday, I moderated this discussion with some Palestinians from the occupied west bank who have been resisting the zionists in their own little town. It was a strong mix of emotions to hear them speak - on one hand, very painful hear what they are put through daily, on the other, very invigorating to hear how much they value the protests in the universities to force them to divest. It is easy to fall into this trap of thinking "what are we doing apart from screaming free free Palestine??" But always remember that they are watching us, and if nothing else it gives them strength to see millions out there still supporting them.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraise on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it.
