Chapter 4 is out

A preview of chapter four

(This is a small preview for the next chapter, which I'm still writing. This chapter will go into some touchy subjects, and there will be a disclaimer at the beginning of the chapter. This preview does not show any of that.)

Kiyoshi, Kiyoshi, Kiyoshi. Hawks searched the criminal database for hours trying to find a Kiyoshi. Nothing popped up. If he wasn’t in the criminal database, then how has he been able to escape the police for so long? Hawks paced in his office as he tried to piece things together. He pulled up old files of the Yakuza, the different gangs, their leaders, even previous incidents. He was the one that Hawks has been trying to stop for so many years by himself but could never track him down. The one instance where he knows the location of the Golden Dragon, and Hawks lets him go.

Why? He was more concerned about you at the time. He wanted to make sure you were safe. He already got a lot of information from when he listened in on the conversation the two of you had. He knew that you knew the Golden Dragon. He knew that you two have known each other for quite some time. He knew that you lived in his territory. He knew that the Golden Dragon, Kiyoshi, had a secret. He knew you had some sort of connection to the Yakuza. Hawks became so invested with everything he knew, and all the connections he made, it made him smile like a mad man. He felt like he just caught someone in a string of lies that slowly unfolded to their demise. He relished the feeling he was feeling at the very moment. The only puzzle piece he was missing, was how you two knew each other, and why Kyoshi treated you so kindly to where he made you untouchable.

You. Hawks had to get closer to you. He needed to, he wanted to. He was already interested in you before, but now. His mind is clouded with languishing. He never felt this way about someone before. Wanting them so bad, however, he wanted you for two reasons. The first reason is your connection to the Golden Dragon. The second reason, well that was because he genuinely liked you. He enjoyed the times he spent with you. He enjoyed talking to you. He enjoyed the fact that you treated him like a human being instead of some sort of idol, or untouchable god. He loved that about you. You, you, you, you.

Hawks decided to do a background check on you to see if he could find anything. Searching you up, he found a few things. Where you lived, your age, birthday, parents, however, he saw nothing for connections or quirks. Your quirk was put as unknown, and there was a note in your file that said any connections you had, had been erased by the government. You became an enigma. This information was dated to be erased about 3 years ago. The only connection there was, was a file about an ex that was now in prison. Hawks clicked on the file and saw the name and face of a man he remembered he arrested a year ago. You seemed to be some sort of magnet for criminals....

F.Hawks whispering: Hey.

F.Hawks whispering a little louder: Heeeyy. Lark, wake up.

F.Hawks getting closer to your face: Lark bird, come on. You've been asleep all day. It's time to rise and sing your beautiful song.

F.Hawks putting a hand on your face and rubbing your cheek with his thumb: Come on Lark bird. I promised to take care of you, including your mental health. I can't do that if you sleep all day. If you want, I can buy us some food, and we can watch a movie and eat on the couch. How does that sound?

F.Hawks after you wake up: There's my Lark bird. Come on now, let's get you something to eat. Let's also get you out of this home, and refresh the scenery for you.

C.Hawks looking at you: Hey, how's it going? Oh, are you alright?

C.Hawks: Bad day huh? Well, why don't you tell me about it? Maybe that will lift some weight of your shoulders.

C.Hawks: Uhuh. Mhm. Oh wow. That really is something.

C.Hawks: Come here, I can't really offer my two cents with that you are going through, but I can offer a hug!

C.Hawks: If you need to cry, go ahead. Everyone has their days. It's worse when you're alone too.

C.Hawks; I'll always be here if you need someone to vent to or need a shoulder to cry on.

C.Hawks: You can get through this, you're strong!

C.Hawks: Aw look at that, you should smile more. Your smile suits you very well.

C.Hawks: Just remember, I'm here if you need me. I won't ever leave you

C.Hawks: *who supports Endeavour and helping their family out*

F.Hawks: *who has slept with the todoroki family except for Rei and Shoto and literally has slept with half of japan*

C.Hawks: I'm always willing to help out a friend in need, especially during everything going on. In order to have a functioning family, you need a base, and if that base, or Endeavour for example, were to fall. So does the whole family, even if they try to admit to being okay, they wont be. Plus if Endeavour fell from number 1, then I would have a lot more responsibility on my hands.

F.Hawks: Blah blah blah, family this, stability that. You should try getting laid for once. Why not start with the Todoroki's? It's pretty worth not gonna lie. C.Hawks visibly horrified: What is WRONG WITH YOU?! ARE YOU EVER NOT HORNY ON MAINE?!?!

F.Hawks: Hey, you know how it is. Once spring comes around, no one is safe from me or my devious charm~

C.Hawks about ready to flip a table: For the last time, Fanon, YOU ARE NOT A BIRD! F.Hawks shouting back: MAYBE NOT TO YOU, CANON. BUT ALL MY SIMPS AND FANS SEE ME AS ONE, SO THEREFOR I AM!

C.Hawks: I'm going to slap the bird out of you

F.Hawks: Ca-Caw fucker! I'm going to sleep with you're canon idols, fans, and the Todoroki's just so I can tell you how much of a loser you are and rub it in your face that I can get some in your world too!

C.Hawks on the phone: Hello, Police?

C.Hawks: I'm Hawks, a man who is too fast for his own good. I'm the number 2 pro hero in Japan. You can count on me if you're in trouble!

F.Hawks: I'm also Hawks... but better! I'm also the number 2 pro hero in Japan. You can call me to your bed anytime and I will make sure to service you until the very end~

C.Hawks scowling at F.Hawks: GO BACK TO THE HELL HOLE YOU FLEW OUT OF! NOBODY WANTS YOU!

F.Hawks: Ouch, someones mad I get all the ladies...

C.Hawks: I will pin you to a wall with my feathers and leave you there to rot.

F.Hawks: Oo kinky, I like it.

C.Hawks: Goodbye, I'm out. I'm going on vacation, bye.

C.Hawks: It's Dabi from the league of villains! Stay back everyone, he is very dangerous. Plea- What are you doing?

F.Hawks who is approaching C.Dabi and wrapping an arm around his shoulder: Hey there hot shot, why don't the two of us go back to my place for some fun?

C.Dabi who sees both Canon and Fanon Hawks and is now visibly confused: Why the fuck are there two of you? And why is he trying to flirt with me?

C.Hawks who is now facepalming: That's Fanon Hawks... It's how fans/stans/simps/etc. of me, like to see me as.

C.Dabi: Dude... what the fuck is wrong with people?

F.Dabi off in the distance: Ayo Birdie, wrong Dabi you shithead!

C.Dabi seeing his fanon self: Now what the fuck is that?

F.Hawks: Being part bird, I do tend to have weird habits. My wings tend to give away my emotions, but love having my wings preened.

C.Hawks: ... IT'S A MUTATION QUIRK, YOUR WINGS ARE A MUTATION QUIRK, ITS NOT AN ANIMAL BASED QUIRK, NOR IS IT AN ANIMAL MUTATION QUIRK! YOU ARE NOT PART BIRD!

F.Hawks: You're just jealous.

C.Hawks: I'm done, I'm done.

F.Hawks: I'm just better than you.

C.Hawks: You need to cease.

So my power went out last night :) and all my progress got deleted :D now I have to re-write chapter 2... FUN

Fan fic Synopsis (MHA SPOILERS)

So, this is the synopsis of my fanfic, thoughts?

It's been four years since the defeat of All for One and the League of Villains. With more than 50% of pro heroes in Japan retired, crime became an all-time high for a while, then fell to its lowest since All-Might was still active. The commission fell and rose, now under new management. Rebuilding Japan is still a work in progress, 90% complete. The hero popularity poll is now forgotten, and active heroes are judged and rated by their acts of heroism. Hawks, now 27 and considered one of the top, if not, the top hero in Japan. With heroes in training now debuting in Japan as pro heroes, Japan progressed at a steady rate. 

Y/N, now part of the 2% quirkless population of Japan, goes on about her day. However, while taking a stroll through the city, Y/N turns victim to a villain that takes her hostage, threatening to erase her quirk. Hawks, who was in pursuit of the villain, is now left with a choice: Let the villain go, or save Y/N at the cost of her quirk, which to his knowledge, she has one.

While I do a lot of Canon v Fanon Hawks at the time. I'd like to try a series of my opinions on Hawks headcanons. There are some that I actually like and enjoy, while others... not so much

One headcanon I personally enjoy, is Hawks having raptor traits that change his appearance. For example: Instead of normal hands, he has talons instead of nails, and pads instead of prints. Making him more lethal, but in order to not hurt civilians he wears special gloves, or dulls his talons.

Something like this ^^^

It would make for really good story telling when someone finds out about them. It's good angst and can be very good for character development of a character who finds out that Hawks actively has to change himself or hold back.

Should I? (MHA Manga spoilers)

Should I write a Hawks x Reader fanfic? But like, it takes place years after the whole war arc and society is back to normal? Like Hawks is older and his scars are fully healed but visible and hair has grown back to its normal length, with his wings healed. The reader being quirkless (because it’s better than having people very opinionated with whatever quirk the reader has), and a year or two younger than Hawks. Maybe have him 26 or 27 years old. Idk, im tempted, not sure if I should though.

C.Hawks: I enjoy eating a variety of foods but do enjoy chicken a lot.

F.Hawks: I fucking love chicken, it's all I eat, and the occasional Yakitori.

C.Hawks: Dude... what the fuck? ADD MORE TO YOUR DIET!

F.Hawks: MAKE ME!

F.Hawks flying away: NEVER!

Now that asks are open again, I'll go for a fandom favorite (you don't have to answer if you don't want to!) Hawks with a baby, his little bird, Hawks as a father.

Personally I don't want kids, but there's something about him + babies that just melts my heart.

Hawks as a father...? hmmmm alright. But I will interpret this in a more realistic style.

Canon Hawks would be on paternal leave as he takes care of his child. He would spend time with his partner and child, tending to their every single need. He would be restless as he makes sure they are both well. He even went to a library to buy baby books and baby supplies as soon as heard the news. He is absolutely in love with his baby, and would fight off the whole world for them.

Vs.

Fanon Hawks is a nervous wreck. His feathers are disheveled and puffed up. He is pacing around, with thoughts of doubt clouding his mind. Unsure if the baby will be okay. What to do, and how take care of them. Whenever he is with his partner and child, he tries to tend to their every need. He loves them both, but still doubts himself. He wants to request time off, but he knows Japan needs him. He feels bad leaving them everyday to work, and does everything he can to make up for his absence. He loves them both dearly, and doesn't want to mess up the only thing going good for him.

How I imagine Canon Hawks vs. Fanon Hawks would react to you confessing your feelings to them, but they don’t feel the same way. (Or how they would reject you)

Canon Hawks: “I-um, that very flattering, though I don’t think I would make a good partner. I’m always working, and am flocked by fans all the time. I’m sure you can find someone who will treat you better than I ever could.”

vs.

Fanon Hawks: "Sorry birdie, but I’m not interested in having another lady getting with me just for my money, fame, or to brag."

C.Hawks: Have I slept with someone? Not to my knowledge, but even if I did, I wouldn't brag or tell the world about it.

F.Hawks: PFFTT LOSER! I've slept with almost all of Japan, and fuck amazingly.

C.Hawks, grimacing: You definitely got some sort of STD. Ehgh, ALL of Japan? That's actually not healthy, I mean how many women have you gotten impregnated?!

F.Hawks smiling proudly, before being very concerned: ... WAIT-

How I imagine Canon Hawks vs. Fanon Hawks would react to seeing you being pushed around and even falling in a large crowd of people that are his fans.

Canon Hawks, seeing this would tell the crowd to spread out and be careful, and when they become overbearing, they ignore him. Now bothered by this, he spreads his wings to get everyone's attention. They move aside as he walks towards you and holds a hand to help you up. Everyone now aware of this, feel guilty for not listening and potentially harming a civilian. He asks if you are okay, then proceeds to tell the crowd as to why you should listen the first time. So things like this don't happen.

Vs.

Fanon Hawks, seeing you fall in the crowd of fans, would move away from you, and have the crowd follow, then after they are away, he would fly up and over to you to ask if you are okay. Seeing that you are, he would apologize for his fans being so pushy.

Can I get an interpretation on how well both fanon Hawks and canon Hawks would get along with children? I feel like both versions would genuinely enjoy being around kids but I would like your opinion. Would either go out of their way to visit sick children in the hospital?

Hawks and kids? Oh boy...

Canon Hawks always loves to make children's day by taking photos, giving autographs, or saying something to make them smile. If he is asked to visit hospitals, schools, or a daycare, he is always more than happy to drop by and make the children's day. He does not tell the kids no, when it comes to them climbing into him and taking his visor and headphones. However, when it comes to his wings, he tells them to be careful, as he needs them to do his job. Any feathers he sheds during the visit, he gives to the kid for them to keep. Making their day, makes his day.

Vs.

Fanon Hawks enjoys making children's day saying something to make them smile or giving them an autograph. If he is asked to visit hospitals, schools, or a daycare, he checks to see if he can fit the visit in his schedule. He does not tell the kids no, when it comes to them climbing into him and taking his visor and headphones. He lets them keep them if they so wish to have his gear. Any feathers he sheds during the visit, he gives to the kid for them to keep. When messing around with his wings, he restrains himself when they pull at his feathers, or caress the soft feathering. He enjoys to make them happy, but they do leave him tired and exhausted.

Your Canon Hawks vs Fanon Hawks content is great, I love it! A lot of the Fanon Hawks stuff cracks me up. I don’t realize just how flirty Fanon Hawks is usually written until you brought it more to light. Honestly it’s funny. 😆

Thanks! And yeah, Fanon Hawks, from every media platform I'm on, he is usually flirty. Doing the Canon v Fanon brings a lot of light to the difference between the two, which makes me happy when people notice the major difference.

I love your canon vs Fanon Hawks content. I personally like canon Hawks more but that's just my opinion, he has more personality and just cute lmao.

Sure thing! So, let's see, how would Canon Hawks and Fanon Hawks react towards a pro hero s/o that is a huggable type of person... Canon Hawks likes to spend time with his Pro hero s/o, though is very weary and observant on who they hug. All that know his s/o, know they love to hug others, which he takes into account that someone could use to their advantage to plant something on them or harm them. When working, Hawks usually reminds them to be careful or to be safe, along with a tight hug. They make sure not to touch his wings, in fear they may shed off and leave Hawks will less feathers. He met them as they were on a patrol while he strolled the streets waiting for his wings to regrow. Even though he was dressed casually and the nubs of his wings barely visible, the pro hero spotted Hawks due to his wild hair and charismatic presence. Going up to the not-so-winged hero, he was caught off guard by the embrace as they greeted him. They apologize to him and while it was an interesting first impression, the two managed to hit it off pretty well. After teaming up a few times, the two got closer and eventually became Japan’s power couple. It was a bit of a change for the pro hero, being Hawks’s partner, they weren’t used to being followed by paparazzi and news reporters. Eventually the two made an announcement to Japan, about to being asked about their relationship, and not to be bombarded by the media. Still going strong, the two enjoy each other’s company and treat each other very well. Sometimes they make a competition about how much work they can get done, Hawks winning most, but sometimes letting them intentionally win. All in all, their relationship is healthy and well known.

vs.

Fanon Hawks, upon meeting them, was annoyed at first due to them touching the base of his wings when being hugged. It would fluster him, and he would send them a glare. Eventually they learned not to touch his wings and hugged with caution. After a while, Hawks grew to likes them and asked them out. Accepting, Hawks warned to keep their relationship a secret, as the commission was weary on who he dated, and he didn’t want his fans of teenagers and 20 somethings to go after them. A bit upset, but understanding, the two enjoyed their relationship, even though it was a bit of a rocky start. Having to have a relationship in secret, Hawks constantly working and coming home late at night. After some confrontations and heart to hearts, the two had an understanding and grew to enjoy their secret love. The two’s schedules always conflicted with each other, making it hard to see each other on patrols and at work. They didn’t get to spend much time together but were used to it. Behind closed doors, the two were inseparable, in the public, the two were no more than friends. 

C.Hawks: No, I do not become super horny in spring, what makes people think that!?

F.Hawks: WOOO WHO WANTS TO FUCK?!

Alrighty, after some thinking I got an idea of what to write.

Canon Hawks when working with a hero s/o, he makes sure to stay close to them, but not too close. He just wants to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. He does not stick them all the time, for he lets them have their space. While the two work together constantly, they do have their moments where they do separate missions and specialize in specific types of work. They have their moments of banter and fun but like to keep things very profession during work. Outside of work, the two are inseparable.

Vs.

Fanon Hawks loves to tease and is very playful, even at work. Rather than doing paperwork or keeping his agency afloat, he likes to spend his time messing around. When it comes to patrols, missions and keeping popularity rating up, Hawks is always first to show up and steal the crowd and be the center of attention. When he is with his s/o, he makes sure everyone knows that they belong to him and will flaunt them to the world. His fans are jealous, and the media loves to eat up any drama or rumors from the two. All in all, Hawks will make sure the world knows who belongs to him.

I LOVE your C. Hawks vs F. Hawks posts! It’s so funny to see how use-to fanon hawks I am when all your posts on him feels like something I’ve read before, but with canon it feels so new to me cause I never see him canon-written! ❤️ If requests are okay, what about in a romantic situation? 🤔 Maybe asking you out in a date and how both would go about it?

Lets see here... let's go with you are NOT a hero, you have been friends with Hawks for about a year now, and in that span, he has caught feelings.

Canon Hawks is a helpless romantic that has no idea what he is actually doing, but is trying his best. He doesn't want to ruin his first relationship, and doesn't want to lose you either. He has tried those magazine quizzes, advice online, even asked his friends about relationship advice, which didn't help. He sees you walk by and gets nervous, buy steels his nerves as you say hello. He greets you back, and asks what you are up too. After doing so, he looks around to make sure no one is within earshot. He doesn't need paparazzi and crazy teenage fans tearing him a new one. You notice him looking around, and ask if he is okay. He laughs it off and says, of course he is. As you two talk for a bit about ya'lls day (pardon my southern), he then asks if you are busy the next day. You wonder why asks, but realize his wings are down to nubs for he had recently gone through a tiresome search and rescue mission. Saying yes, he then proceeds to straight up ask you on a date. He doesn't beat around the bush either, he says a nice dinner, a movie, maybe even an amusement park, not all in that order of course. You are taken back by him asking you out, and ask why a date? He tells you he has no self control over what he wants, he saw you and wanted to be with you, but didn't want to scare you off. The practiced response you knew very well. You thought about it for a bit before accepting. He gives you a genuine smile and walks with you as the two of you continued to plan the date. A weight is lifted off his chest and his nerves die down, but not entirely. He is still nervous about the date, and tells you to tell him if you feel he is moving too fast. He does not want to make you uncomfortable in the slightest, and he does not want to act as if he knows what he is doing. He is honest when he says he knows little to nothing about dating due to working constantly and his days off are him resting, or out with his hero friends. He always has to keep up his image and isn't a fan of people treating him like his untouchable idle, or a man with the world in his palms. He tells you, that you treat him as a person, as a human being, which he truly appreciates. Hearing these things aren't new to you, as he has told you before, but it always surprises you that his response never changes. Before you two could continue conversation, a crowd of fans come by and you are pushed aside as the rampant teens and 20 somethings bombard him with compliments, questions and requests. You chuckle, used to it and wait nearby for him to finish tending to his fans.

Vs.

Fanon Hawks has gone and dated almost all of Japan by this point, yet he is very drawn to you of all people. He has dated other models, celebrities, even a few other heros, but is still enamored by you than all of them. He sees you walk by and he flies down to you, greeting you as he lands by your side. You greet him back, and already his is flirting with you, calling you pet names and asking if you are free tomorrow. You know that it's his day off tomorrow and luckily you are off work too. Saying yes, he smiles and suggests a date at a local amusement park. You raise a brow at his suggestion, knowing he wants to sleep with you. He has tried many different ways to get into your pants, all failing. However you would be surprised to say the least, seeing him take the romantic approach. You were curious about it and told him yes, on one condition. He asks what it was, and you tell him that you aren't sleeping. He blinks for a minute before he bursts laughing. He knew that was going to be the condition considering he his many advances. Shaking his head, Hawks proceeds to tell you that he rather it be a date-date, and that he actually wants to spend time with one of his best friends. Rolling your eyes, you agree, which makes his wings flutter and his smile wider. You two continue to walk as you plan the date. You knew that people would see it as him trying to get into another girl's pants, but he didn't see it that way. He didn't want you to see it that way either. Knowing Hawks for a year, you can tell when he is joking and when he is serious. Him asking you on this date, you knew he was serious. Deciding to treat it as a proper date, you think about what to wear when your are torn from your thoughts by a group of fans crowding Hawks. Some of his fans giving you dirty looks, and you being able to hear them talk about you in negative ways. You were used to it by now, in fact, its why Hawks couldn't keep a relationship for more than a week. His fans were ruthless and their online gossip was brutal. Hawks was happy you stuck around after the first month of being friends, and always apologized when things like this happened. You would always reassure him its fine, and he usually feels bad about it anyways. You decided to wait by a nearby bench and scroll through social media as he tended to his fans. You laughed to yourself once more. The infamous Hawks, genuinely asking you on a date, and no him wanting you to ruffle his feathers in bed. How interesting.
