I miss being loved on, i miss being held, i just wanna know what it’d feel like for someone to love me the same way i love, ya know?
I think is pretty obvious who is my fav character; Steve Harrington is in my mind 24/7, but I love him not just because of him but because of the concept of him.
It's easy to put anything you want in him. Like. All the interpretations people have about his parents? YES, good, make total sence. Why? Because we don't know anything about them, except for one or two things and that's just for what Steve had said.
Him knowing characters that barely interacted with him? It's not like we have seen a lot of him out side of the upside down problems.
More trauma than the series show? I mean, they already ignore the trauma he has endure through out all the seasons, what's some more.
Steve being a pretty decent guy even before canon contrary of what they want us to belive? It's not like they showed us a lot of bully qualities of him.
Like- yes, i know you can mold all the characters You like into what you want but how much until is a completely different character? Steve is very versatil, you can change A LOT about him, put as many headcanons as you want and still have a resemblence of what makes Steve Steve.
It's no surprise people love him, he can be a lot of things, anything you want and still make sense that is him.
Punk! Steve? YES.
Teacher! Steve? Give it to me.
Hairdresser! Steve? There is not enough of him.
Baker! Steve? I need more of him.
Athlete! Steve? Of course.
Rock Star! Steve? Yeah, why not.
Actor! Steve? He's been acting half his like, why don't make a profession out of it.
Single parent! Steve? There is a lot of ways to make it happened!
Gay! Steve? Comphet is a bitch.
Bisexual! Steve? Have you seen all his homoerotic scenes?
Trans! Steve? Either way you want him, that guy's gender is funky.
HoH! Steve / Deaf! Steve? That boy has more than enough head trauma to last a life.
007! Steve? Maybe he just doesn't remember his childhood, like El; maybe he was a failed experiment.
Just- do you catch what i'm trying to say?
Steve and Eddie being chaotic childhood friends, gaslighting everyone they know.
It started when one of their teachers wanted the students to make pairs with someone they didn't know or get along with; therefore, friends couldn't make the project together.
Of course, Eddie wouldn't pass the opportunity to be dramatic and annoy a little bit the teacher, acting like it was the worst thing to ever happened to him and throwing himself on Steve's desk, making the other roll his eyes in a fond way.
It was the beginning of the year, but in small towns most of the kids knew each other since before, so it wasn't that weird of a request; but the teacher was also new, so they didn't know the relationships of the kids very well.
That's why when a small kid with a rebel vibe, starting to grow his hair and going to a more dark look, annoys them and says it would be a nightmare to do the project with a preppy kid, clearly rich boy vibes and in his way to be popular, they knew who they were putting the kid with.
The teacher smirked, thinking they did well; meanwhile, Steve and Eddie were trying not to grin and communicating with their eyes to not messed up and go along with it.
They ended up having to act like they hate each other in front of the teacher so they could carry on with the project, but what about the rest of the class who knew they were friends?
They follow along.
Maybe it's to gain Steve's favor, maybe they thought it was funny, or maybe they thought it was about damn time they stopped being friends, that it was a good way to finally separate them and make Steve fully part of the jocks and Eddie less intimidating for the rest of the outcast.
Anyway, the whole class goes along with it, and Steve and Eddie, like the dorks and drama queens they are, decided it's a funny bit to keep.
At some point they were too deep into it, having to act for the rest of the year like that because of the project and somehow convincing the whole school. Their friends to enemies story becoming popular knowledge.
Steve and Eddie now just think it's too funny to stop, so they continue to gaslight everyone.
Eddie? Steve? No, thanks; I hate that guy.
Anyway, they going to high school, and the whole mess with the upside down happens. At that moment, Steve is so happy to being able to keep Eddie away from it.
I just love a clueless Eddie trying to figure out what's happening to his (finally) boyfriend at the same time the Party is clueless about the relationship between their dungeon Master and their babysitter.

Okay, so, since apparently i have the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to writing down a fic, i will just post little things about this au i have stuck in my head about steve being lucifer’s son.
So, bare with me, because i'm about to mess up the timelines and events of both shows.
Stefan Morningstar, born July, 4th 2001. son of the devil and a human woman. his father didn't know about him until he went back to earth in 2010 and the woman tried to kill herself and Steve after finding out that Lucifer is the actual devil, because she thought she gave birth to the antichrist.
She dies but Steve doesn’t, Lucifer hasn't had his redemption arc yet, so he sends him with some rich couple who owe him a favor to raise him.
Fast forwards to 2016, Chloe appears and the whole first season of Lucifer happens, with some hints and appearances of steve here and there (i even thought about that one priest that Luci got along well with being Wayne Munson, just without the dying part, thank you very much)
But then, that part when El sends Henry to the upside down? yeah, that one, happens, and that’s how the godness (Luci's mother) got out of hell.
Just think about it, the upside down being actual hell, one of it's pockets and being like Hawkins because it was shape having in mind, not only Henry but Will too, since he also gets trapped in there, and the demogorgons being some kinds of demons, and the demodogs being hellhounds.
Just think about it.

Long ass ramble about this after cut :) I am actually losing it. Also I might add some grammar to this in the morning. It’s 2 am rn.
I am trying so hard to figure out this design. like at this point I’m actually going insane over this bc like YESS I NEED THAT IN MY LIFE but ougghhh… gears are small and I must make it look like it would actually function or I will cry. I also have no idea how mechanical stuff works so I have to research first hrrrggh
Ok so like he still has the white bc he gets an outer porcelain layer as a decorative cover, but instead of the like cheek tooth window thing (it’s the middle of the night I can’t make words rn) it would be exposed gears and pistons. And also exposed teeth bc teeth are cool.
I don’t really know how his arms would work because the weird bone twisty thing arms do is honestly fucked up and I hate it and my brain cannot figure out how to make it work with metal thingys.
And he would have an exposed gear mechanism on his chest and it would essentially be his heart and I feel like if you stuck a pencil in it he would spontaneously combust so maybe heart doesn’t need a gun with steampunk mind???
Also about the porcelain bc I love ceramics, he’s totally built like a fancy dinner set. Think chinoiserie patterns with the blue on white designs but make it art nouveau with the whiplash lines and florals. Also he paints them himself so it’s entirely customizable.
But like you see the vision right?? The delicate porcelain contrasting with the machinery and like even the colors contrast so it’s even better. And the whole mind trying to cover up the rough metal with something that’s “more appealing”
I dunno if it still qualifies as steampunk at this point but like the machinery that is still exposed will totally be steampunk so whatever.
Holy shit it’s late I and going to try to sleep while this plagues my mind and I will hopefully make some concept sketches sometime tomorrow bc writing this all down helped me figure out how I want to draw him.
Okay, so. We've all seen Mind as a cyper-punk like robot. But, hear me out on this, what about a steam-punk Mind? What would it look like if Mind was made of copper and/or bronze? Someone please make art of this.
