I want to read a fanfiction about Henry and Richard being an AU version of Sherlock and Watson.

Imagine the shenanigans they will get into. Henry being the smartass who doesn't know how the metro works (or the modern world to an extent) and Richard being his babysitter/oblivious partner (who doesn't know what the fuck is happening) and they are roommates! (Omg, they were roommates)

They even have the same unresolved homoerotic tension like Sherlock and Watson.

Ps: Richard used to study Medicine in the past and Watson is a Doctor....boom

I think part of the problem with making johnlock canon is that (straight) writers think it needs to be this grand, heteronormative romcom story arc when most johnlock shippers literally just see the dynamic they already have as romantic. Especially in podlock's case of sherlock being audhd, OBVIOUSLY a romantic relationship wouldn't necessarily look the same as a quote unquote cishet neurotypical relationship. They would just carry on like they have. They're already living that dynamic. Only difference might be that john pops a kiss on top of sherlock's head as he passes him by, or sherlock just follows john around the house for no reason and sits waayyy too close to him (these things already happen lol), or cherry on top they say love you to each other before leaving the house. It would NOT BE A BIG DEAL. It would hardly change the way they speak to each other, and not at all how they interact with mariana or their professional relationship. Because that is just who john and sherlock already Are to each other. It's lichrally just about one day a writer finally caring enough to give it this ""new"" perspective.

Sherlock Holmes is not actually cold and emotionless he is relentlessly passionate and loves his work and his life so much and anyone who tells you otherwise is a filthy liar. yes including Watson who he also loves

queerplatonic jonklock is how i read them. i cant see sherlock in any version having strong sexual/romantic attraction. its interesting how different people perceive fiction differently(like obviously) but ik its still cool

Don't get me wrong I shipped BBC Johnlock for so many years and I think that the original stories are kinda gay, however, now listening to Sherlock & co I just want a really good friends solving cases together (including Mariana and Archie).

I love the show so much and I'm scared of the potential drama. I feel like they care about each other deeply but not romantically. I just don't "feel it" in any of their interactions.
