Some Scarecrow for the soul. Georgia boy prefers to stay inside during the colder months (he’s not cold resistant in the slightest for a number of reasons), but he does hand out candy to trick or treaters! He likes spooking the older kids with his Scarecrow getup, but just has treats for the young ones. He also hosts scary movie nights for the rogues (mostly so he can see what freaks them out) but he does end up enjoying himself, especially when he and Ivy watch Little Shop of Horrors.

How does your Jonathan do with Jervises sleep clingyness? Does it bother him or does he find it sweet? Or maybe does he fall asleep too? Take all the time you need and thank you!

My Jon is very touch adverse, which applies to everyone including the rogues. Jervis knows this and knows to not go to him when starting to fall asleep, though he does tend to forget during his less lucid moments. Jon is perfectly fine with him sleeping nearby though if there is no one else around, so long as he keeps his hands to himself, since he finds Jervis’s sleepy rambles entertaining and he’s good company regardless.

Also…

…Jervis makes a lot of noise in his sleep. Snoring, talking, etc. Thankfully, he doesn’t sleepwalk, but everyone would prefer him to be a sleepwalker over the person who is actually one (Jonathan).

Scarecrow: One time Tetch, who's all about not killing animals, accidentally stepped on a ladybug. He froze up and slowly cradled it in his hand, and he was so heartbroken she started quoting Hamlet.

Scarecrow: I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was a red M&M.

Day 4 Relationships

If I’m not careful this could be controversial (jk) I’m just going to pick people Tetch is normally associated with and give a brief description of how I see them

1: Jonathan Crane - Friend

Jonathan and Jervis (once called the J.js’- bad move Joker) they’ve had a rather close relationship grow originally Jonathan was one of Tetches tormentors in Arkham, but that eventually changed when the two worked together. Know you’ll find them sitting across from each other in the corner of a room chitchating. I have no problem with the ship and it’s nice as a scroll through Tumblr.

2: Edward Ngyma - Mutual/kinda friend

Mutual, they’re not the closet to be called friends (as differing interests stop them) but they’re not enemies either (similar feelings about school) and can be seen sitting together or standing near each other from time to time. If Tetch needs information/ or just feels like listening to someone talk Edwards usually his person. I’ve seen them as friends, couple, and enemies so I’m kinda just nuetral to it all. (Gotta say I feel almost guilty for putting the dorksquad way less close than before)

3: Pamala Isley - Stay away

Ivy and Tetch got of to a REALLY bad start. Tetches kidnapping of females really pissed Ivy of at the start, so much they normally didn’t stay in the same room. However over time Ivy has definitely reconsidered her stance considering all of the other rogues and DOES want to try and talk to him again. Sadly at this point Jervis would rather avoid her. (I REALLY like the SpringMadness ship, but I feel like it’ll take a long time to happen, just like a tree)

4: Mary dale - “Hey Jerv” “Hey Mary”

They have tea parties together, talk together and help each other with there Maladaptive daydreaming. All in all they have a positive relationship, the doctors normally don’t mind but they do worry about each other encouraging the others delusions. They were close only after a week of knowing each other.

5: Lyle Bolton - eeeeeh welllllll no

It’s hard to say anyones close to Bolton especially after the “Lock up” incident. Tetch is completely terrified of Bolton, while Bolton just finds Tetch exhausting. In a Bolton reformed au I see them tolerating each other if not avoiding each other. (On occasion Bolton has helped Tetch out of trouble.)

6: Alice Pleasance - No

Alice at first say Tetch as a friend later fear, then completely loath and finally someone to no longer care or think about, she’s either happily married or single. Tetch is sad at the least about all this.

7: Madeline Daresbury - OC

Yes, I’m putting my own OC on here! Madeline and Tetch are two peas in a pod if not, a dependant on the other. Madeline happily goes along with all of Tetches delusions and Tetch enjoys her company (he doesn’t know that Madeline is also using him as a surrogate for her little brother). The two are normally not in Arkham together (Madeline goes to Black gate) but can be usually be spotted together outside of Arkham.Whered The Mad Hatter be without his March Hare?

Something I want to happen in the DCEU

Arkham Asylum’s infamous hallway of Batman rouges from Batman TAS.

There’s a crawl shot of the hallway and several different camera angles have you get to see who’s in the cells without actually telling you but you’re supposed know by several hints.

The bars or the wall of glass has several things in that hint who occupys each cell.

-A silloute of a coin flipping in the air along with the sound of it landing and slight growling.

-Several green question marks written on the walls and several riddles followed by incoherent mumbling.

-A potted plant, looking Alive and healthy on a small shelf near a bed.

-A top of someone’s hair, which is brown obscured by the cell’s bars or the camera not panning down(for those who prefer the wall of glass) followed by the sound of a page turning in a book.

-A shot of a padded cell with someone in a straight jacket, rocking back and forth. The person’s feet has tally marks on it.

-A glass cell door that lacks airholes. Loud slurping and gurgling noises come from it. The camera isn’t panning down so all you hear is the liquid noises and a shout of “I gotta prepare for my next role.”

-A cell that has sticky notes of the days of the year all over the walls.

-A top hat with a ribbon around it, with a playing card tucked in the ribbon resting on the bed. Followed by mumblings of a white rabbit and finding someone named Alice.

-A cell that’s relatively normal. But there’s a scalpel covered in blood on the bed’s pillow.

-A cell that’s different from the rest in color. The cell is blue, cold blue with several tubes flowing air into it.

-A cell that's​ completely empty. But it has several words written in some sort of purple crayon that say “HAHA” on the walls.

Harvey dent aka Two face - Split personality disorder, abuse survivor, suicidal, can’t make decisions without his coin Kirk langstrom Aka Manbat - Addict, was working on a cure for deafness, has no control over himself Bane - Grew up in prison, Addict

This is why Batman keeps fighting them and putting them back in Arkham. If he didn't more than likely these individuals who need help won't get it. So I guess it's a good thing he's punching them in the face. Besides they do at times deserve to be punched in the face by a single man in a bat suit. (Surrounded by children)

Jonathan Crane AKA The Scarecrow: Underweight, abuse survivor, canonically hypermobile and thus suffers from chronic pain, hypotonic.

Waylon Jones AKA Killer Croc: Abuse survivor, condition causes chronic pain.

Jervis Tetch AKA The Mad Hatter: Small, possibly suffers from a hypoplastic condition.

Mary Dahl AKA Baby Doll: Suffers from a hypoplastic condition, literally the size of a small child.

Victor Fries AKA Mr. Freeze: Can’t survive outside his cryosuit, probably in his 50s.

Pamela Isley AKA Poison Ivy: Abuse survivor, skin is highly toxic, probably suffers chronic pain as a result of her condition.

Garfield Lynns AKA Firefly: Covered in burn scars, scar tissue likely causes chronic pain.

Oswald Cobblepot AKA The Penguin: Has a bad limp, physically incapable of fighting.

Edward Nygma AKA The Riddler: Abuse survivor, physically weak, canonically recalls every beating he’s ever gotten.

Jason Todd AKA Red Hood: Suffers from severe PTSD, literally Bruce’s kid.

Basil Karlo AKA Clayface: Can’t keep one shape for long, has chronic pain, probably not a good plan to punch mud.

Peter Merkel AKA Ragdoll: Hypermobile and definitely has chronic pain as a result.

Can you imagine Bruce Wayne having the private residences of his various rogues tapped? Like he could log on to one and hear a live audio stream of their actions. Imagine:

Ivy quietly making soft ‘cooing’ noise to the various plants which she keeps in her home to nurture and for her protection. Sometimes Harley can also be picked up but she soon disappears after a few weeks or so.

Joker seemingly being aware that Batman has his home tapped and is happy to hold long provocative conversations in the hope that the Bat is listening at any given moment. Bruce hates it since Joker seems to have a sixth sense about when he is tuned in and uses it to his advantage to get under his skin.

Catwoman being the only other rogue who seems to be aware that Batman is listening to her but she is rarely home (and is intelligent enough to not discuss her business) so she uses it as an opportunity to flirt and give hints as to which expensive gifts she would not mind receiving.

Scarecrow’s line is pretty much silent most of the time since he tends to conduct experiments elsewhere but the occasional hummed lullaby can be heard along with mad cackling and it unsettles Bruce more than he is willing to let on.

Edward Nygma being, by far, the loudest of them all. Between the cacophony of creaking and grinding that his various electronic projects make as he constructs them and his incessant need to hear his own voice and practise riddles it can be very grating. Plus he sings. A lot.

The Mad Hatter seeming to have a habit of holding daily tea parties which are almost unintelligible as Tetch fully descends into the madness which has a great hold of him. Bruce can only hear the story of the Walrus and the Carpenter so many times.

Bruce having to force himself to check the feed assigned to Harvey Dent as there is always a chance that instead of picking up Two-Face barking instructions to his henchmen over the telephone, he may pick up pure silence only broken by the occasional sob of the man whom he was once best friends with.

The Halloween spirit is taking over me

And you’re right, Brucie. It’s kinda funny when you think about it. Ever since that night in the alley, you’ve been trying to do right by old mom and dad. To be the justice they never got. But get this: your entire life’s work, all it’s done? Is turn you into something your parents could never love.”

I went back and reread this issue, and I thought this scene was really interesting. Thanks to an experiment carried out by another criminal scientist working with Crane, the entire city of Gotham is crippled by horrible nightmares in which they see the Scarecrow. These nightmares bring forth a deep-seeded phobia of Scarecrow’s silhouette, and the effect lasts even in daylight, allowing The Scarecrow to to terrorize the city simply by walking the streets.

Scarecrow wreaks havoc across Gotham, and he’s only naturalized once Batman unmasks him in front of the terrified crowd.  Without that mask, he can no longer cast forth his nightmare-inducing silhouette. The crowd of onlookers are no longer afraid, and they ambush the Scarecrow. Think about that

Look at his face, he’s stricken with terror. He plan has failed and he’s lost. Crane wants nothing more then to be seen as a horrifying phantom, a beast that no one can fight back against, but under the mask? He’s afraid.

I don't know what possessed me, but I saw that wrestler meme, and if that doesn't perfectly sum up arkham asylum IDK what does. So naturally I had to draw it LMAO

I legit had so much fun with this NJOVJDFBDSJBS from coloring to lineart I really enjoyed making this one! and its my first time drawing Killer Croc AND Asylum Scarecrow. (I love this man, but can we agree his mask is really badly designed in asylum-)

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Scarecrow fawning over some flowers? Just don’t tell Ivy. I doubt she would be happy about him using them in his experiments.
