I really like this scene from Monkey, it gave me some chills, specially the persistent humming in the background
I always wonder why did Tang, Pigsy and Sandy reincarnanted to begin with because, acording to jttw at the end of the journey the pilgrims were supposed to have ascended to deities, so why did these three come down to the mortal realm again?
Y'all why did Tripitaka reincarnated?? What did this devoted monk do to deserve be reincarnated into a Wukong fanboy? 😭
Being a lmk fan is so hard as someone who doesn't give a damn about macaque or whatever he has with wukong, i am here waiting for macaque to LEAVE and pass on another more interesting plot and he won't leeeeave
I genuinely thought Macaque would be another villain that the gang would have to defeat and then he would disappear like White Bone Demon and Azure Lion, and it never happened.
and now i have to watch this edgy monkey crawl after wukong because he can't get over his bro killing him because he tried to kill sanzang, girl get over it you messed up

So, I was watching Romeo and Juliet sherlock gnomes and this scene came up and they reminded me of the journey to the west gang. Romeo as sun Wukong, Juliet as the monk, sherlock as Sha Wujing(?), and Watson as Baigujing(?). I'm not really sure if thats whats sherlock and Watson are but yeah; I might draw them as the little chaotic gang.
This is soooo good! I LOVE IT! I, too, can't wait for Season 5
