Gender is so strange, like no I’m not a girl/woman, no I'm not a boy/man, I actually don’t have a gender at all, however, I do feel a connection to both masculinity and femininity (though I feel slightly more connected to masculinity than to femininity)

I’m so proud of myself; I let my history professor know that I’m autistic and have social anxiety and because of that I have some struggles when it comes to speaking. I also told her my pronouns. It went really well; and she asked me if the presentation that is due towards the end of the semester will be a problem (I haven’t gotten to her on that yet) and she said she appreciated my openness.
Note: I told her this information in an introduction paragraph (which is mandatory/graded) that we can use to share with her any thing that we deem of importance (if that makes sense)

My genuine reaction at having been called that: 😁
the reason why you can't define gay as "man loving man", or define lesbian as "woman loving woman", or define trans as "person who has dysphoria and identifies as the 'opposite' gender " is because all queer identities defy being defined in a reductive, singular statement. the entire point of these identities are that they cannot fit inside the rigid boxes of what gender, sexuality & expression "should" be according to our societies.
people with these identities will always break the rules. we will always blur the lines and exist outside of the boundaries you set around us. you can't try to force us into boxes and hard definitions all over again, we intrinsically defy them no matter what.
Also, as an enby myself, the terms “amab” and “afab” are dumb as hell. It’s just dividing people without a gender, or with multiple genders, to the gender they were assigned at birth. The only people who need to know what you were born as are your doctors, and no. one. else. Not even friends, unless you actually want to tell them, in which case go ahead. You don’t owe anyone shit. Non-binary people are valid no matter what, and you have absolutely no obligation to “prove” yourself to others. You don’t need to transition, you don’t need operations; if just being called they/them or it/its or whatever the fuck else pronouns makes you feel good, then you’re enby enough. Chris is a wonderful example of how a lot of people *still* think in ‘man’ and ‘woman.’
Okay so I love playing FPS games and I sound feminine. I was playing with one guy (who was a complete asshole by the way) and he said “you sound like an alligator or something” and I got so much gender euphoria. Please, if any enby’s come across this, share the weird things that give you gender euphoria.
My gender is just feeling one way for months on end and thinking that’s my ‘real’ gender only to suddenly change entirely and the process repeats again
going stealth means choosing between your safety and your community--a decision i never want to make. i fear the time to make that decision is drawing closer and closer. facial hair and muscle growth, a deep voice and adam's apple, blending in and keeping quiet. stifling excitement when i see someone like me. unable to speak up. hiding a pivotal part of who i am. fear. fear is on all sides of being trans. the side that holds most love is with my brothers and sisters, protesting and speaking out.

I decided to give Amity the moon lesbian flag because I feel the aesthetic fits her very well (I also feel like she would associate the normal lesbian flag with who she used to be in season 1 so the change in flag represents the change in who she is). She probably learned about it through the internet like I did once they got to the human realm (I hope they got to celebrate pride month while they were there too)

Now for the traumatized kid. We all know he is confirmed to be Bi and I've seen so many HCs about Hunter being transfemme but I feel that they would want to keep their masc energy but not completely. I think demiboy fits him quite well don't you think? As a demigirl myself I quite like the representation :) don't get me wrong I love trans characters I just like the "not straight straight couple" representation too and this felt like a nice balance
Now a lot of people like to ship Gus with Mattholomule (or rather Mat Tholomule) but judging by Gus's reaction to Man Tholomule™'s mustache of confusion (and maybe a little disgust lol) and the lack of an actual love interest I like to think Gus is an aroace lad (also the ✨aesthetic✨)
Omg I love Vee so much I wish we got to see more of them but I think they would be a Neptunic Ceteroromantic nonbinary basilisk :) Neptunic refers to someone who is sexually attracted to female aligned or nonbinary aligned people (anyone not male aligned or masc aligned) and ceteroromantic is a nonbinary person who is romantically attracted to other nonbinary people. I just love representation of lesser known sexualities and identities and so on <3
Now it is the God Kid™ again the aesthetic of the flag fits perfectly and people have already been using they/them for the collector in the show (they are very androgynous fr I'm so jealous 😭) so of course they would be nb. I didn't think it right to give them a sexuality since they're a literal god and a kid so I just left that part blank (if anything they would probably be questioning but I don't think they would have sexual/romantic attraction to any mortal being, I feel like the concept would be lost to them like death was so I think they wouldn't put a label on it either tbh)
