Another pic of X-Key in her adventure themed outfit. This one is from around the same time in mid 2013. The original drawing was made with pencils and micron pens and colored in Photoshop

Just really felt like drawing Lilith today. The original sketch was drawn with pencils and ink, then colors, shading values, and line art were added in Photoshop using a Cintiq 24hd drawing tablet.

Lilith. This drawing was made using the same process as the earlier post of X-Key. I like drawing these two particular characters in sets. - JC

This started out as a simple sketch of X-Key, but I added color and went over the line art with the Cintiq. Drawing the line art with a tablet presents many advantages, but can also be challenging. -JC

A quick sketch of Lilith. I always enjoy drawing Lilith because it gives me chance to capture a fiery intensity, wrapped around a naturally cool demeanor. Her eyes are seen as very intense and determined, so I challenge myself to try to convey that even with her covered. 0.7 and wooden HB pencils. -JC

A little under a week is left until the convention and we can't wait to showcase X-Key in our hometown! Here is some of the promotional materials we will be using. X-Key and Lilith Flyers and four stickers that will be at C2E2. 

Emily Bennett-Clark. An important figure in the history of X-Key. During the dawn of the 22nd century she leads the motorcycle gang known as the "The Riders". A digital sketch made in Adobe Photoshop on a Wacom Cintiq Companion.

Working out the color scheme for one of the younger versions of X-Key. She has less color and her hair and resembles the original concept version a little more. This is an outfit for the story entitled "First Ride", which tells about her early life in the city of Oasis. The original drawing was made with pencils and colored in Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq 22.

This started out as a simple drawing of X-Key with permanent markers. Then I decided to color it ...then one of the members of the team looked at it and told me "You should add a background." Short version; I ended up spending a lot more time with this pic then I planned, but it was a fun distraction. Sharpie and pencil, colored in photoshop.

Just a quick sketch of Lilith's bike today. Dycorp Model S-Custom. Both drawings are done with sharpie and pencils. I colored one with photoshop to show how the color scheme looks. This is the bike Lilith rides in "Days On Edge".
