LIKE at this point it’s not about the damn zombies, they’re a plot device to help you deepen your characters and people can do that in such an interesting way in apocalypse stories
ALSO THE WAY THE ZOMBIES ARE CHANGED IN EVERY STORY I LOVE THAT I JUST LOVE WHEN PEOPLE HAVE FUN WITH IT THAT WAY !!!

But i have a hard time figuring out where to put the other characters. I was thinking of Jigen as Joel or maybe even Akai but I’m not sure so if you have ideas who should fill the other spots please comment

i CANNOT stress this enough, but if you prioritize literal FICTIONAL CHARACTERS over a GENOCIDE—you need mental fucking help. The people saying they “can’t” post about palestine due to the most MINUSCULE reasons like “oh i’m a small page!” Or “it doesn’t match my account aesthetic” needs a fucking lobotomy. There is a GENOCIDE going on in the world right now, and the least you could do is spend one—maybe two at most seconds reblogging a post to help spread awareness. now is not the time to be boosting smut fics about characters who dont fucking exist.
And for the people getting pressed about their tags getting flooded with posts about the palestine—like i said, there is a WAR going on. just take a second to use your fucking brain.
watched the last of us awhile ago and absolutory loved it. it took me a wile to draw some fan art but here it is. Ellie <3
i wanted to draw joel but aparentaly i can't. like he never looks quite right. i've gotten close but it's still not quite right. it's kinda funny though because aparently Padro pascal was deemed one of the easiest people to draw according to my friend and i just can't draw him.
i want to play the game now that its on steam but i don't know if my computer will run it

You can eat the fungi/mushrooms in the last of us!! eat them bitches back!!!
Irl these mushrooms are edible!! Its called cordeyceps, completely edible, but if you think about it you could totally eat them straight off an infected person, well maybe not straight off
at the beginning of the show they said that the fungi couldnt infect humans because they couldnt survive the internal body temp of humans, and an average humans body temp is around 90° F, so a higher temp could in theory kill the virus in the fungi, so techically you could possibly eat the mushrooms back.
edit: it has been brought to my attention that the spores were in bread which is baked BUT those arent fully formed mushrooms, they can grow, basically justs seeds, so in theory you could wear a gas mask and clean ur shrooms, sautè them up and bam tasty tasty mushrooms

I’m so glad they didn’t show the porch scene yet. I love the placement of it in the game. We need to *not* understand Ellie’s motivations for a time, she’s supposed to be complex and taciturn to the audience, she’s supposed to lose us a bit. And the porch scene and the context it provides bring us back to her at a pivotal point in the story.
I am. Not ready to experience this story again in a new format. Heartbreaking tragedy on the senselessness and inevitability of violence, on how love can bring out both the best and the worst in us is going to rip me to shreds for a second time. Neil and Craig, I am in your driveway

okay joel, she gets it. she gets what loss is now. stop being a silly goose and get up. jokes over. 😀
ignoring how emotionally devastating the episode was I love how once joel accepted he was a Dad again he went from reluctant father figure to full blown dad mode. did not hold back. found ellie’s favorite food and a board game for them to play. took her to the zoo (the giraffe feeding scene). asked her if she was ok in the most gentle way possible. told her stories about sarah. compared her to sarah bc they’re both his daughters. told ellie how proud he was of her / how much he cared for her. opened up. said “we’re going home”. murdered dozens of people for her. brought her on a hike. you know. normal dad stuff
