DAY 3: SPACE HEROES

I am going to explode I am so bad at catching up, I swear I will eventually.

I made a TMNT 2012 oc

Main Info: 🐇

- Her name is Usagi Mizuki, she’s a samurai rabbit mutant from Japan, who came to NY to work for the Shredder shortly after her Daimyo (samurai master), Usagi died. She doesn’t like working for Shredder but she doesn’t have many options, since;

a) her master owed the Shredder a debt and couldn’t pay it because he was 💀

b) she is a teenage orphan raised by an old daimyo in a modern world with little need for samurai

c) she’s a mutant

- She works for Shredder for no reason other than to repay her daimyo’s debt, as he was her teacher and only guardian. Eventually she joins forces with the turtles and goes against Shredder after learning of his alliance with the Kraang.

Backstory: 🐇

- She was a homeless orphan in Japan in the streets who was taken and kidnapped by the Kraang (much like how Alopex and Tigerclaw were) and used for experiments, being mutated into rabbit mutant. Eventually she was able to escape from Dimension X, landing back into Japan but now as a monster.

She wonders around the streets, stealing for food and living in abandoned homes and old temples. One night, however, she is found by an old Daimyo named Usagi sleeping in the bushes near an old temple that he was visiting. Seeing her as a sign of good luck and as she is a child, he takes her in as his own and trains her as a samurai. Giving her the name Usagi Mizuki, as he had found her due to the moon shining on her form in the night.

Inspiration: 🐇

- Obviously she is inspired by Usagi Yojimbo from the TMNT franchise, but since he is already in the 2012 universe but in an alternate dimension, I made her sort of like an alternate version of him but not really as she only has the name Usagi because of her Guardian and Daimyo.

- I also took inspiration from Princess Mononoke, Usagi Yojimbo, and Usagi Tsukino for her personality. As a teenage girl wanting to live by her morals and teachings of her Daimyo, and her forgiving and empathetic nature. She puts on a mask of nonchalance and confidence and even some playfulness when fighting in order to not get hurt or be used against her will. But once she gets close to someone she is actually sweet and expressive, not afraid of being herself.

Love Interest: 🐇

- I honestly made her because I wanted Leo to have a love interest that wasn’t his sister 🤢, and almost every Leo was already shipped with Usagi. BUT TMNT 2012 Usagi is a) an adult, and b) in an alternate dimension. And we’ve only ever seen Leo interested in women, unlike Rise Leo and ‘03 Leo.

- So I thought why not and give Leo a mutant rabbit samurai girlfriend. I was thinking enemies to lovers or something along those lines as I thought it would be cute if Leo had to face someone who equally matched or overpowered him in skill when it came to swordsmanship. Idk I thought it was cute ☺️

Now this! This was fun! I was trying to find some ROTTMNT merch but I couldn’t find anything I liked! And then I remembered that I literally have the power to create one that I do like.

So here is Leo! The other brothers are soon to come! I think a black background is best to my liking but what do you guys think? Let me know which one you like best.

This is literally me and my twin on our birthday lol! (She’s two minutes older, sigh)

Yay, I’ve finally done it! I’ve finally figured out the plot line to the Crescent’s Ascent all the way to the ending! It’s gonna be a bumpy ride, but we’re gonna get there and I’m SO EXCITED for what’s to come! 😆 The ending is gonna be AWESOME!!! (At least in my opinion lol)

What started out as an attempt at a new Nexus champion quickly spirals into an unhealthy obsession, and Big Mama will do anything to make sure her precious Crescent never even wants to leave.

Meanwhile the brothers search frantically for their leader in blue, but will they be too late? Will they be able to find Leo and restore his memory before he is too far gone? After all, there are already things Leo has been hiding…

Oofta, I’ve been writing future scenes for the Crescent’s Ascent and made myself cry last night. I’m sure it’s normal for fanwriters, but this is getting so much darker than I had thought when I wrote the first chapter and had the idea 😬 I mean, I love it but like it’s really giving me a punch to the gut. But in a good way, yk? Hehe, stay tuned! I promise it will have a happy ending!

Hey all! Back with some more Rise fanart featuring the precious Disaster Twins UwU!! First time trying to draw them as little tots, and they are SO CUTE!!! I hope you like it!

I feel like when they nap Donnie always liked to be on the bottom. Leo was gentle and thought his soft shell was comfy while Donnie liked the protection of his brother so he didn’t feel so exposed. Leo was also really protective of his twin—even if he didnt admit it—and wanted to shield him from any potential danger.

LFLS Leo 😢

Hey all! Working on some art for a lfls edit, and in addition to my previous post this is the other one I have finished so far! Poor Leo, it hurts my heart to see this vibrant teen look so numb, but it’s this weird hurt that makes me want to read Like Father Like Son over and over and over again hehe. But anyways, the credit of the original fic goes to @eternalglitch , and I have to say it is absolutely stellar! Excellent plot, pace, characters and descriptions.

(BTW Like Father Like Son, by @eternalglitch , is one of my favorite fics of all time! It’s so well written, the character development—or character decline, hehehe sorry Leo—is so beautifully paced, and the description is very vivid. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend it! And if you’re like me and got heart broken in a way that makes you read it over and over again, then go enjoy all the feels!)

Also first time trying side-profile, so im still working on the proportions and anatomy hehe ;)

This one is definitely angstier and the art style a little darker, but I had fun with it. Golly, I wish so much that they had a healing arch for rise after the invasion! But oh well, fanart, comics, and fanfics will have to do. Besides, it gives our imaginations a chance to run wild!

I absolutely love the headcanons of these two being twins (I have a twin and our dynamic is very similar to these two… probably I’m more like Leo and my sis is more like Donnie) and having mirrored eye color in fanart. What do you guys think?

It was all this time basically when the turtles first got their real weapons they started training it was going good until Leo accidentally cut raph’s face open (Leo was terrified and still apologizes to this day)

when Ralph saw it, he thought it looked so cool I decided not try and heal it so it would stay a scar, and he still doesn’t regret it >:)
