I defaulted afbodyshortdressclubshoes (just the BG version) with AikeaGuinea’s AFBodyBootcutPlatformBoots. 

This was a mistake against god and nature, and I regret nothing.

This is probably the first time I’ve actually finished something from my projects folder instead of just throwing everything out and starting from scratch a million times over wahoo!

afbodyravelegwarmer replaced with a mesh edit and a shoeswap using Madlen’s Bonnie Boots. I reshaped the body based on io’s AF default, and added a preg morph.

I also made a teen conversion, which was really easy because most of the resources existed already? I guess this outfit was intended to be available for teens. Anyway, the file labeled ADDONS has both the replacement and the teen conversion. If you don’t want that, get the regular file.

As I mentioned before, I’m redoing my save file to be inspired by late 90s and early 00s Tokyo rather than the modern playstyle I was going for before! Here’s part 1 of ‘Fruits Snap’, a series of outfits I’m mostly creating for downtownies so I can have a colourful old school harajuku downtown! I've shoeswapped the maxis long skirt and sandals to have the 4t2 eco living sandals converted by Julie J! the feet mapping is a bit different so hopefully it works well with people's skins, I'd have switched it with blockfeet if I was skilled enough to make them look good aha ^^ I named it for this one magazine page I've had saved to my Pinterest for an age :P for Y/AF and TF, in 27 colours- 5 denims, 8 corduroy plains in Curious B colours, and 14 patterns, categorised as everyday.

Hey, it's another thing that's been on my to do list for literal years! I've wondered for a long time if the brand Takuya Angel was an inspiration for the ravekimono outfit from NL, realistically I reckon not or at least not directly as the styles are pretty different, but the concept always made me think of it.

So this project was originally conceived as a texture default, but morphed into a meshing project! I wanted to combine the essence of Takuya angel styling with elements of the rave kimono outfit... which turned out to be much more complicated than I'd anticipated and resulted in me texturing, completley reconstructing, and then retexturing the mesh a couple of times. After hammering away, I came up with something I'm actually really happy with! Again it's maxis parts, the original shoes from the ravekimono outfit, the sleeves from @rented-space's two-sleeved edit, a bit of jacket pinched from BG, the party dress, and a bit of the tiered dress from the S2S asian fusion set- it all ended up at 2636 polys. The textures are also based on maxis parts, using the male hakama outfit and the fabric texture from the rave kimono outfit notably, in combination with photo elements.

A lot of the stylistic inspiration came from a group picture from the defunct site Japanese Streets featured in this Dutch article, but also I had my FRUiTS books and some other J-fashion & Kawaii books to hand for reference photos, and the brand tag on Tokyo Fashion. I didn't want to straight up copy Takuya Angel's designs, but retain a bit of maxis flair, so the name of this set just refers to the root inspiration! ᓚ₍ ^ · v · ^₎

I made 3 sets of recolours:

Three colours inspired by the original colour palette of the rave kimono outfits. The pattern is japanese clouds referencing the pattern on the rave kimono obi. These ones are the ones used in the rave kimono default replacment, but the custom versions are also in the files, marked as RK. I made my NL rave kimono hair texture default to match these, with the same pattern, though by merit of being made to match the original colour palletes of the outfit they do alsoo match the original outfits aha.

Five recolours using the Sakura Origami patterns by Shishi2011 on DA which I love and have used many times! These ones are marked as sakura.

Four solid recolours to round em out, for completion's sake. The colours are a combination of Aelia's and Kinu's ^^

I also put together a recolour PSD for recolourists!

This is actually something that's been on my to do list for years! I wanted to make my downtown heavily themed after Harajuku culture from the late 90s and early 00s, making supernaturals and downtownies who wear Harajuku styles ^^ For the grand high vampire countess, I thought EGA would be the ideal style to go with, and now I'm imagining a horde of EGL vampire girls led by an EGA grand high vampire aha, it's close to the Mitsukazu Mihara inspired hood I envisioned.

It's been an age since I last made a body mesh, and I actually had to remake the mesh entireley when I made a mistake in reinstalling and setting up Milkshape on my current laptop - which admittedly gave me the chance to rework part of the mesh I wasn't completey happy with. I took a lot of inspiration from this post on the F Yeah Lolita blog I used to read a lot as a young teen, especially from the GLB scan of what I *think* is the brand Visible in 2002-2004. At the same time I wanted it to retain some hallmarks of the original outfit, so the seeves are actually retained from the medieval dress. It's mostly maxis parts, the top from the store vampire outfit, the skirt from the Flamenco dancer outfit. The boots I stuck on there are an altered version of the strappy boots I nicked from these pantless bottoms by @sushigal007, cut off the staps and sheer parts which woudn't be seen anyhow, so they're a lil lower poly, too. The whole outfit is only 2736 poly. BTW the sim in the preview is wearing my vampire hair replacement with accessory bangs!

There's a small clipping issue with the mesh where the boots clip through the skirt ruffles with certain movements- sorry about that, bone assignments are a bit beyond me atm, I didn't notice it too much in play testing but I understand if that's a dealbreaker for others.

There's 8 swatches- the pure black in the preview is pretty much the maxis base textures showing through, a few mixed/patterned textures, and a few Aelia jewels. For the replacements, the grand high vampire gets the damask version as I thought she needed something a bit fancier, and the black and black x white replaces the other colours of afbodydressmedieval.

Hello, today I replaced basegame female child hair cfhairpigtails with Lolipop Chainsaw Juliet, converted 3t2 by @profesionalpartyguest.

Polycount is 3.9k. Textures are Profesionalpartyguest's, but I tweaked the colours to be more similar to my usual Pooklet Dynamite, Depth Charge, Pyrotechnic and Volatile. This hair is for CF only. All hair colours have the pink scrunchies :)
