Wooly with a tooth gap…
Wait I love this I’m gonna draw him with these kind of teeth now 😎😎
Amanda and Wooly sketches!!
I also have a funny little headcanon that Wooly gives the biggest hugs :D
Am I allowed to say that Amanda’s a sheep in wolf’s clothing and Wooly’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing?
For Amanda it’s the fact that she seems psychotic and evil but in reality she’s just a scared child coping with her situation and for Wooly it’s the fact that his whole nice and sweet cartoon persona covers up something more dangerous about him
I just had this thought while watching a video about Play My Way
If Amanda and Wooly are probably meant to be polar opposites, and if Amanda has more control over her monster, does Wooly’s monster have more control over him in some way?
Silly thought but I just wanted to share it
Amanda and Wooly's costumes from my Trick-or-Treating fic!!
The tape begins with a Halloween-themed logo for the show, with the apple now being replaced with a pumpkin and Amanda and Wooly in costumes.
It cuts to Amanda and Wooly in the living room with a few costumes laid out in front of them. Amanda and Wooly notice us and then greet us.
“Hi, friend! I’m Amanda!”
“And I’m Wooly!”
“And today, we’re going trick-or-treating! But first, we need to put on our costumes. Will you help us?”
A few seconds of silence pass before Amanda speaks again.
“Great! Okay, which costume should I wear?”
The screen shows a black cat costume, a spider costume and a lab coat with glasses.
Riley chooses the lab coat and glasses.
After Riley picks a costume, the screen then changes to Wooly’s set of costumes.
“Now, which costume should I wear?”
The screen shows an Angel costume, a wolf costume and a clown costume.
Riley chooses the angel costume.
After picking a costume for Wooly, the screen switches back to Amanda and Wooly in their costumes.
“Thanks for your help!” Amanda says. “Now, let’s go trick-or-treating!”
The tape changes to Amanda and Wooly walking on the sidewalk in the neighborhood with their bags full of candy, the houses behind them swaying in a continuous manner with their lifeless eyes.
“Oh man, we got so much candy! I can’t wait to eat it when we get back!” Amanda cheers, jumping up and down.
“Don’t eat so much though, or you’ll get a tummy ache.” Wooly adds.
“You shouldn’t be talking.”
“What’s THAT supposed to mean?!” Wooly asks, his face red with embarrassment.
After walking for a bit, the two notice a mysterious house, its design much different from the other houses near it. It almost looks abandoned, with broken windows and moss growing on it. Intimidated by the house’s appearance, the two walk up the stairs to the front door and ring the doorbell.
No one answers.
“Hello?” Amanda calls, knocking on the door. “Anybody home?”
A few seconds pass.
“Well, looks like they’re gonna get tricked tonight!” Amanda says with a smirk on her face as she opens the door to the abandoned house.
“Wait, Amanda!” Wooly calls, grabbing her by her sleeve. “You’re not ACTUALLY thinking of going in there, a-are you?”
“Of course I am!” Amanda replies. “Plus, it’s good to face your fears. Come on!”
Amanda runs inside the house as Wooly nervously follows, fidgeting with his hands as he walks inside.
The screen switches to Amanda and Wooly standing inside the center of the house, with 3 doors in front of them.
“Which door should we go in first?” Amanda asks.
Riley thinks for a moment before they point to the left door.
“Good choice. Let’s go!” Amanda cheers as she opens the door and both her and Wooly walk inside while holding each other’s hand.
The screen changes to what looks like an old living room, with a busted couch, an old TV, paintings on the wall and a radio on a table beside the couch.
“I’m already getting a bad feeling about this…” Wooly mutters, lightly tugging at his wool.
“Oh, be quiet.” Amanda scold him. “It isn’t even that bad! Just a little dirty.”
Riley notices the radio and points to it, saying “What about that radio?”
Amanda and Wooly notice them pointing to the radio and walk towards it. “I wonder what it’s gonna play.” Amanda says. It’s clear she’s having a lot of fun being in this house…
She curiously adjusts the frequency on the radio, hoping for something to play-but so far, it’s only been static.
“I think it’s broken…”
“You don’t say,” Wooly responds, examining the radio. “It’s all busted.”
Suddenly, the radio begins playing a news report, startling both Amanda and Wooly.
“It’s been over 2 months since 8-year old Cara Matthews has mysteriously gone missing and there are still no leads as of now. From the information that was given by her parents, Matthews was last seen watching one of Kensdale’s most beloved programs, Amanda the Adventurer. Some detectives believe that she was kidnapped, however there is no evidence for that statement. As far as we know, Matthews will never be found.”
The audio turns into static once again, as Amanda and Wooly stand there with horrified expressions on their faces.
“Not again…” Amanda mutters under her breath as static fills the screen. “I’m… I’m sorry…”
“A-Amanda…?”
Suddenly, the static completely stops and Amanda reverts back to her usual upbeat persona.
“Well, I’ve seen enough of this room,” she says. “Let’s get outta here.”
The screen switches back to the center of the room.
“Where should we go next?” Amanda asks.
Riley points to a set of stairs near the 3 doors.
“Good choice. Let’s go upstairs!”
As they’re walking up the stairs, Wooly notices that Amanda is holding his hand much tighter than before.
“A-Amanda, you’re squeezing my hand…”
She doesn’t respond.
“Amanda!”
“W-what?” She finally responds.
“You’re squeezing my hand.”
“Oh.”
Amanda quickly lets go of Wooly’s hand, still facing forward.
“You’re not… scared, are you? He asks.
“What? No, no, no!” Amanda responds, swatting her hand in disagreement. “M-maybe a little…” she mutters under her breath, but loud enough for Wooly to hear it.
“I-it’s okay, I’m scared too.” He says. “But we can face our fears together!”
She doesn’t respond.
Finally, the two reach the top and enter a pitch-black room.
“Dang it, it’s WAY too dark in here!” Amanda complains. “Do you have something we can use to light up the room?”
Suddenly the lights go out in the library right after she asks that question.
“Oh shit, not THIS again!” Riley complains.
They walk around the library for a bit while also hearing Amanda and Wooly’s complaints.
“I don’t like the dark…” Amanda whines.
“Don’t worry, they’ll find something! I’m sure of it.” Wooly reassures her.
After a few minutes of walking around the pitch-black library, Riley spots a light coming from behind one of the printers. Peeking behind it, they find a flashlight that’s already been turned on.
“Thank god.” Riley rasped as they head back to the TV, seeing Amanda and Wooly shivering in fear. They place the flashlight on top of the TV and watch it get absorbed into the cartoon.
“Thanks!” Amanda cheers as she begins pointing the flashlight to the center of the room. The light illuminates the room, showing a broken-down bedroom, with cobwebs decorating the walls and corners and a door in one corner. In another corner of a room is a bed with torn-up pictures beside it.
“Oh, this is…” Amanda mumbles, but doesn’t finish her sentence.
A few seconds pass before Riley notices the pictures beside the bed. Amanda and Wooly walk up to them and begin examining the torn-up pieces of the photos.
“I recognize some of these faces…” Wooly says, squinting at the papers.
“Hey, Amanda, can I see your photos?”
She doesn’t respond.
“Amanda?”
Wooly shuffles over to her to see her with a horrified look on her face, holding one of the pictures.
“What are you looking at-“ Wooly suddenly stops.
The screen changes to a closer view o the picture Amanda is holding.
It seems to show a young girl with braids and a black hoodie, but her face is blurred out. Riley notices that the girl in the picture looks familiar, like they’ve seen her before.
It finally comes to them. That girl is..
Rebecca Colton.
“This is… me?” Amanda whispers, her eyes only focused on the warped photo of the little girl as the screen begins to fill with red static.
“M-maybe it’s best to get out of here…” Wooly chuckles nervously, turning around. “Come on, Amanda. Let’s go ba-“
The exit to the room is gone. All that’s left is the door in the corner. Wooly grabs Amanda by the hand and runs and opens the door-but instead of another room, it’s a long corridor with another door on the other side.
“What the…”
“What’s happening…?” Amanda asks nervously, still holding on to the photo.
“I don’t know…” Wooly responds. “Look! There’s a door on the other side. Maybe that’s the exit.”
But once they reach it, the room inside is just the same long corridor.
Each door they go through causes the hallway to be even more warped, with twisted walls and darker hallways.
“I don’t wanna be here anymore…” Amanda whimpers, clutching onto Wooly’s hand.
“Me neither…” Wooly adds.
But it doesn’t matter. These hallways are an endless loop. There’s no way to escape.
A few minutes of running through endless hallways pass before the two eventually collapse in exhaustion.
“There’s gotta be a way out of here,” Wooly mutters. “We can’t be stuck here, r-right?”
“It’s hopeless.”
Wooly turns around to find Amanda curled up and shaking, the photo still in her hand as sniffing and muffled winces can be heard from her.
“We’re never getting out of here…”
A minute of nothing passes, the two sitting on the floor in the endless hallway, with Wooly fidgeting with the handles of his candy bag. The only sound that can be heard is Amanda’s crying.
Then, in a choked, raspy voice, she says:
“I want my dad…”
Then the tape falls out of the VCR.
“Poor girl,” Riley thinks. “She doesn’t deserve this…”
Author’s note: This was so much fun to write!! It’s WAY longer than the last, sorry about that. Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope to make more of these in the future!
Making another Amanda fanfic!!! This one’s gonna be longer
Heres a little sneak peek!!
After solving another tedious puzzle, Riley finally got another tape. Instead of a brand-new tape, however, it’s one they’ve watched before- “Let’s Start the Day”.
Confused by the reappearance of a previous tape, they put it in the VCR.
The video is already much different from the last, starting off with the perspective of what seems to be someone on a hospital bed, with 2 surgeons above them, everything having a hazy look to it. After some time, the patient’s eyes close.
Suddenly, the tape quickly switches to the episode with a title card saying “Let’s Start the Day!” with music in the background glitching in and out. The title card fades away, with Amanda rising from her bed, yawning and then looking out the window.
“Good- morning… b-birdies…” Amanda trails off, her smile transitioning into pure horror. The music quickly fades away as the camera changes to the view of the outside-but instead of birds chirping at the window, they’re dead. Rotting. Bugs picking at their flesh.
Amanda turns away from the window, her eyes quickly darting to the camera.
“I-I’m Amanda! Let’s start the day!” She says, worry still seeping through her words.
“First, I need to make my bed. Will you help me? We need to fluff the pillows and smooth out the blanket. Which should we do first?”
Riley chooses to tap on the pillows.
Amanda is about to hop on the bed, but suddenly stops.
“Actually, you know what? It doesn’t matter- I’m too tired to do this, anyway.” Amanda says, running her eyes. “I don’t even want to do anything today, not after that horrible dream… what kind of dreams do you have?”
“What if I tell her something SHE’s afraid of? It might be a way to get more info out of her…” Riley thinks. After pondering for a moment, they say their answer to the screen.
“The butcher.”
“STOP REMINDING ME-“ The static cuts Amanda off, resuming the episode as how it was supposed to be.
“I should probably head downstairs for breakfast. It’s my favorite meal of the day! But first, I’ll have to get dressed.” Amanda opens her closet, only to find dirty shirts and shorts with mud all over them.
“Oh COME ON! Now I have nothing to wear today!” Amanda whines, stomping her foot on the ground. “Sigh… I’ll just have to wear these pajamas for the rest of the day.” she says, walking out of her room.
The static cuts to Wooly in the kitchen, sleeping with his head on the kitchen counter. Stomping can be heard from the stairs, waking Wooly up.
“Wh-whuh?” He mumbles, as Amanda angrily enters the room. “Oh, morning Amanda. What’s up?” He asks, still drowsy as he rubs his eyes.
“Ugh, this morning has been the WORST! The birds are dead outside, all my clothes are dirty, and worst of all… I had the SCARIEST. NIGHTMARE. EVR!” She responds, clearly exhausted of just about everything now.
“Oh god, you too?” Wooly asks, surprised by her response. “Geez, looks like we both didn’t have much sleep. Haha…”
“Oh forget it. I’m heading to the couch.”
“Oh, okay then…”
A few seconds pass before Wooly breaks the silence. “I guess I’ll be making breakfast today… oh boy.”
Wooly hops off of his chair and walks towards the camera, but stops for a moment. “Wait a minute… YOU can help me make breakfast today!” He points to the camera as Riley turns around to find one of those toy kitchen sets with plastic food. Already familiar with random things appearing out of nowhere by now, they turn back to the TV.
“I think it’s best to make toast or bacon. I won’t be eating a lot, so it’ll mostly be for Amanda. With that said, would you like to help me make bacon or toast?” Wooly pulls out a plate of raw bacon and a loaf of bread from behind him.
“Bacon sounds good.” Riley says, as Wooly places the toast back in the fridge.
“Aw man, I can’t find anything to cook the bacon with. Do you have anything over there?”
Riley turns around to find different items all over the Kid’s Corner. “Just like before” they thought. After walking around the area, they suddenly get an idea. “What if I get the wrong items for him?” They wonder, since they haven’t seen much of Wooly getting irritated.
“Are you done yet? I’m starving here!” Wooly scolds from the TV.
Riley quickly grabs a torch from in front of the TV and places it on top of the TV to give it to him.
“I can’t cook bacon with THAT. Can you cooperate with me for just 5 minutes?” Wooly says, already losing his patience.
“Alright, alright.” Riley responds, irritated by his nagging. However, still interested in getting him angry, they pick up a lighter and place it on top of the TV again.
“Are you KIDDING ME?? What will it take for you to not mess with us?! Do you LIKE seeing us mad or something?!” Wooly yells, fed up with Riley’s shit.
The screen fills up with red static, the noise louder than ever. Riley can hear thumping from the vents above them, already regretting their decision.
The static cuts in and out, as Wooly holds his head, his fingers deep in his wool, breathing heavily. “No…no…” he whimpers, as the static finally stops and he raises his head to the camera.
“Please, just get the pan already.” Wooly demands, his voice tired and irritated. Fearing their life, Riley quickly grabs the pan that’s already in front of them in a split second and gives it to the TV.
“Finally.” Wooly mumbles. “Now, what should I use to cook the bacon- the refrigerator, the sink, or the stove?”
Riley taps on the stove.
“Good job! Time to FINALLY make some bacon. First, put the stove to high and put some oil on it once it’s hot enough.” Wooly grabs the oil bottle next to him. “Don’t do this at home, kids!” He whispers as he drizzles oil onto the pan.
Riley turns around to find a toy pan and plastic bacon on the kitchen set. They walk over to it and place the bacon on the pan and turn the knob on the toy stove to a high heat. A sizzling noise can be heard from a speaker.
Riley walks back to the TV as it glitches to the bacon now being on the stove near Wooly.
“Oooohh, it smells so good! I love the smell of bacon in the-“ Wooly stops as he jumps at the sight of the opossum on top of the fridge, observing the bacon. “Why are YOU here?! What on earth do you want?!” He quickly turns to the camera with an angry look on his face. “Get this guy out of here!”
Riley taps on the TV to make an attempt at making the opossum leave. The TV then glitches, with the opossum giving them a dirty face, hopping off of the fridge and out of the kitchen.
“My god… I’m WAY too tired for all this…” Wooly complains, pinching the bridge of his nose in irritation. He then turns around to check on the bacon, only to find that it’s now burnt with tons of smoke rising from it.
“DANG IT!!”
He quickly turns off the stove as Amanda enters the kitchen again.
Riley turns around to find the plastic bacon now melted on the pan. “How the hell..?” Confused by how it melted, they turn back to the TV.
“Hey, what’s that smell?” She asks as she quickly notices the giant smoke coming from the pan. “My god, Wooly, what did you do?!”
“I-I tried to make bacon for breakfast today and it all ended up getting burned!” Wooly whines, taking the pan to the trash bin and throwing the bacon out.
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t make us breakfast.” Wooly says, hanging his head low.
“But… I’m so hungry…” Amanda whines.
“Me too.”
About a minute passes before Amanda speaks again.
“I hate this.”
Static fills the screen and the tape falls out of the VCR.
Author’s Note: MY FIRST AMANDA FANFIC LETS GOOOO!!! I’m super proud of this as it’s the first fanfic I’ve EVER written and now I wanna make more!! Let me know what you guys think and what you liked about this. Have a great day/night!!
Ok I just noticed these drawings in the credits and both of them have Wooly’s face scribbled out
I feel like Amanda is the one who drew the one with the monster hand above them to symbolize that Wooly isn’t aware of the monster’s presence and the other one is drawn by Wooly because it looks more professional and this could represent their falling out and Wooly feeling guilty about it
WOOLY CRASH OUT REAL???? NOT CLICKBAIT?????
I have this hc that whenever Wooly “demons out”, he acts more animalistic and more like a ferocious beast. Funny thing is I could add this hc to Wooly killing and possibly eating Mr. Fox in Play My Way and it wouldn’t be any different 😂
(Please mind the low quality)
In the Play My Way music video, there’s one part when Wooly enters the hospital and picks up a box, only to find an old Mr. Fox.
Then the screen glitches and then we see a dead corpse of him, with Wooly covered in blood.
Not to mention that there’s blood around Wooly’s mouth
And in one part of the MV, there’s a sketch of Wooly transforming into his demon form.
Could this mean that Wooly snapped at some point and killed (and possibly ate) Mr. Fox?
This puts his character into a WHOLE new light!!
You will never understand how much I want wooly to go feral or just crash out in the 3rd game
I want him to SNAP, I want him to SWEAR, I want to get ANGRIER
I need more angry wooly in my life 😔

-Likes arts and crafts
-Has an interest in scary/twisted stories
-Loves rock music

Wooly:
-I hc him as trans and have since the first game
-Chubby
-Autistic
-HATES loud noises

Pretty sure you can tell who I like more with how many hcs so have for them 😉
I have a headcanon that I've been having since the first game that Wooly is chubby and I try to draw him that way cuz it fits SO WELL
My very own Riley Park design for ATA! Plus a funny idea from @maddy-k-reads-all-day ! They're so silly they're my kids rraaaggghhhh
What if Wooly had the ability to get possessed by his monster like Amanda did in the zoo tape in the first game?
oooooohhhhh I'm gonna make so much art (and angst) of this heheheheheh
Amanda the Adventurer 2 art dump!!! I love this game to BITS!!!! Will make angst soon heheheheh
1 2
So, I swapped Wooly and King. Just two silly animals being controlled and traumatized by overpowered children. <3
Trying to draw king without the skull is so trippy, that's not my baby.
Working on part 2. Hope you like my funky AU (Hey, that rhymed!)
