The first made me think, “Yeah. They seem cool.” But that second half with pointing out the obvious! I’m dying! 🤣

No cause I love the witchhunters because they're honestly all so cool but so lame.

Like in theory, they are so kickass. A super elite witch hunting group formed of a vampiric knight in shining armor, a secretive priestess to a Goddess of death, an animated scarecrow with a demon inside of it, an undead crocodile pirate with a huge fucking gun, a gravedigger guided by the mists of death, and a druid who's God is basically the cycle of life and death.

But then you see them do shit and you're like, oh, okay so they're losers (/aff). Their knight is a himbo and goes through emotional crisis every 10-12 hours, the priestess is unconscious every other battle, the pirate is an idiot, their scarecrow is super socially awkward and smells like wet hay, their barbarian got shanked by a dude covered in oil and licked, and their druid can't do half the things she tries to do (because the dice won't roll higher than a 9 for her player).

Yes i still very much think about the scarecrow man, the wait only makes me more insane about him

And apparently i gotta wait til next year for this campaign to come back so oh boy

One thing that I feel is too heavily slept on is that Virgil CANONICALLY says shit like “I have daddy energy” to Jericho. I know he’s a scary gross demon crow man, but also…he’s kinda silly sometimes. He’s a bit of a goofy goober.

Like, I highly doubt he does it often, but I can 100% see him doing it from time to time to confuse the ever-loving fuck out of Jericho (and everyone else whenever he responds verbally).

With the abandonment issues and the crippling loneliness this poor guy has, I'd gladly hug him for as many hours as he needs. That motherfucker Virgil can even have a perch installed on the wall if he behaves. I'd keep my broom closet clean and decorated just to his liking

If Heisenberg has an affinity with the mold like Rose, and his essence can be felt through his crystalised corpse, and the BSAA is corrupt and is using bio-weapons.

He will be brought back to life for new experimentation. Rose is kidnapped but because she's the protagonist now, she/you escape and then she finds Heisenberg to escape.

They form a weird friendship based on mold, violence, parental issues, and being experimented on.

Now, Rose has to kill him because he's a parallel of her and he's already murdered and done atrocious things to humanity. (Plus if you kept him alive everyone is gonna complain that they are under-utilizing him in game).

Heisenberg gets a tiny redemption arc where he gets to choose his family and now he has to be bossed around by the spawn of someone he was gonna kill. And now she's more powerful and was born in military training so his all-bullshit personality clashes with her no-bullshit personality.

And Rose has to kill her only friend that understood being treated like an experiment/ bio-weapon all their lives because she has to prove that she's able to control her mold abilities and young characters have to be jaded early in games to progress them.

TLDR: you still have to kill Heisenberg for plot reasons but you'll form a friendship for life.

So they meet each other in a BSAA lab ( did you guys notice that on Karl's conspiracy board the phrase "BSAA COMES!!!" is written on a map?) and Karl is all remade, he meets Rose who he doesn't really recognize but Rose has read his file every which way because he was one of the last beings who've seen her dad alive and knows that he's bad news. But she's hauling ass in the lab and he knows a good gamer when he sees it and he's trying to join forces while Rose doesn't wanna be slowed down by this aluminum hobo when she's all Umbrella protocol and business.
