i mean yea he’s hot and knows what he’s doing— but most importantly, he had already touched her dozens of times in her thoughts

xaden’s power means he can see intentions, sometimes even before the person themself realizes what it is. the second before they do it or think it. and he said usually the thoughts come in pictures.

imagine how many flashes of her thoughts he got— his hands on her, his mouth on her, his body against hers. i mean by the time he finally got to touch her he was practically an expert in violetology

going back and reading fourth wing after iron flame is so fun because you can see all the times vi had unhinged thoughts about how hot and beautiful xaden is and you know he was totally catching them

i bet he was mentally kicking his little booted feet the whole entire time and trying not to blush

like when he first takes her to the mat and she’s fuming but her internal monologue is literally like:

“the golden flecks on his eyes seem to dance”

“the bitter illogical taste of jealousy fills my mouth”

I see so many posts, both on here and other sites, claiming that Xaden chose Sgaeyl over Violet, or that he sacrificed his life with Violet when he channeled to save Sgaeyl, but like… are we all just forgetting the bonds?

If Sgaeyl dies, Tairn dies. If Tairn dies, Violet dies.
